19/10/2025: Yesterday, Saturday, October 18th, I had my first pot of mussels in green curry at this restaurant. Excellent, I'll be back 🙏🏼. Unfortunately, the adventure has ended. 18/10/2025: I loved it, but the service was a little slow. Otherwise, it was good and I ate well, so it's a 5-star experience.

25/04/2026: Hello, I strongly advise against this restaurant on all counts. I arrived at 9:30 PM for a meal on a Saturday (which, according to Google, closes at midnight). The welcome was icy; they seated us near the restrooms even though the entire dining room was available. The waitress told us to order very quickly because they were about to leave (great for waiters!). The head waiter, a tall man, was the worst waiter I've ever seen in my life—sorry, but he should find another line of work… Anyway, the cocktails were rushed, and our order arrived five minutes later… so we didn't order dessert because we were bothering them… Moral of the story: don't come here, or completely change your staff (and change your hours, because being open until midnight when they say they close at 10 PM is pushing it).

06/04/2026: We received a very warm welcome and enjoyed a delicious meal. The dishes were generous and of high quality. Wine purchased by the carafe was served in a bottle with an ice bucket. The service was quick and efficient. We will definitely return.

05/04/2026: My favorite restaurant in Grasse! All the appetizers and starters are simply divine. The dishes are heavenly, wonderfully executed. The staff is simply incredible: lovely, caring, always smiling, but above all, exceptionally kind. You can feel their genuine attention to the customers; they are always attentive and take the time for each person. We will miss this restaurant enormously, both for the exceptional quality of the food and for the wonderful people who make it happen.

12/03/2026: Run as far away from this place as possible. It's gone downhill in every way. They're closing permanently in a month and couldn't care less about their customers except taking their money. The food tastes frozen, tasteless, and the service is atrocious, rude, and inefficient (we're still waiting for our carafe of water). The table that arrived after us was served well before us. In short, a disaster!!! This review is here to save you from disappointment, unless you enjoy being mistreated and eating bad food (frozen + microwaved)!!!

14/05/2026: Excellent value for money, homemade food, the former owners are back and it's truly wonderful. The cuisine is delicious and generous, and the service is attentive. These are real professionals who run this restaurant as a family. I highly recommend it.

25/03/2026: Horrible service and very rude people working there. When we came there were 2 tables for 4 taken by 2 people, and we took a small table near the stairs. When one couple left and sit on their place(all other tables were free) but when new customers came the worker came to us and rudely ordered us to move cause he wants it. We didn’t even finish a drink. Definitely not recommend and will not return ever to experience such rudeness.

22/04/2026: We've come twice to eat and both times we weren't served, they didn't even come to take our orders or anything. There was never anyone there either time; only one other customer was present. Avoid at all costs!

12/04/2026: Whenever we travel between Spain and Munich, we always make a culinary stop here. Everything we've eaten here so far has been delicious, the atmosphere is great, the service is super friendly, and the prices are fair. For us, it's the best food in France, thank you!

06/04/2026: So far my favourite restaurant in the region! The quality of the food is top class and the portions are generous. It’s not only seafood, they have rognon, lamb, chicken depending on the season. The best ris de veau we have tasted, and generous portions of langoustines. Even the deserts are all amazing - home made, light and not too sweet.

10/04/2026: Excellent seafood platter, tasting of oysters from various oyster beds, and a surprisingly good Charentes white wine. I had a wonderful time.

18/03/2026: A wonderful discovery! Freshness and quality are guaranteed, the atmosphere is friendly, and the dishes are prepared with love and expertise, making L'Huîtrier the best seafood restaurant in Lyon.

13/02/2026: We booked this restaurant for 40 people in July 2025 for January 2026. We haven't heard anything from them, even though we paid a €400 deposit. The restaurant is closed, so we had to find a plan B four days before reopening. Avoid them if they do reopen because they still owe us our €400 and they don't answer the phone.

06/02/2026: We booked at the end of the year for a birthday celebration. We paid €400 in advance. At no point were we informed of the establishment's closure. It's impossible to get a refund. No one answers. Avoid this place; don't trust these thieves.

07/06/2026: We had a reservation for two, but no table was reserved. Our main courses arrived at the same time as our aperitif. After dinner, we waited for the dessert menu, which never arrived because the waiter seemed more interested in the Champions League final than in us. Luckily, another waiter, seeing our disappointment, took care of us. It's a real shame, because we returned three days earlier after the impeccable service we had at lunch.

06/06/2026: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We came to eat 🍽️, and we left happy 😋... and especially full! 😂 The team is fantastic 👏😊: smiling, attentive, and truly responsive. One small drawback, though: the homemade fries were a bit heavy-handed with the salt 🧂😅. But honestly, it didn't spoil our enjoyment. And the view... 🌊😍 even under a gray sky ☁️, the setting remains magnificent. A wonderful discovery ❤️, an excellent place 📍 where we will gladly return... again and again! 😊✨
