21/12/2025: We discovered this restaurant during our stay for the Christmas markets. It's an unusual restaurant with its small dining room seating 17, decorated in a style that transports you straight back to the old Alsatian era, much like the owners, who are approaching 80 and still serve authentic, homemade regional dishes. We enjoyed chatting with this friendly couple, and I'll cherish the memory of this place and recommend it without hesitation, despite what you might initially think.

04/06/2026: We stayed here two years ago. The hotel room in the main building was okay, but otherwise nothing special. This time, however, we stayed in the significantly higher-quality annex in the only room with a great balcony terrace. The rooms next to it were mostly (completely) in the shade. We were looking forward to dinner, but since we had to wait over an hour (in addition to the already lengthy order taking) without being offered even a small piece of bread or anything similar, we were satisfied, but nothing more. Breakfast: The fried eggs were cold, and there was little choice, as the staff's attention wasn't exactly focused on replenishing the food. On the second morning, at 8:30 a.m., there weren't even the bare necessities left (coffee, bread) because the previous group had apparently already eaten everything. Since they had left some time ago, this wasn't a plausible excuse. Furthermore, they should know how many guests are present and have a corresponding supply on hand. The service was friendly, but not customer-oriented. For the price, we'll find different accommodation next time.

08/08/2026: Very disappointed, I do not recommend it. I ordered a raclette pizza and an Andalouse pizza, and honestly, it's hard to justify the price for what you get. The raclette was practically devoid of raclette cheese and any bacon... even though these are literally the main ingredients. The Andalouse wasn't any better: barely a piece of bell pepper per slice and about five small pieces of chorizo ​​on the entire pizza. Both pizzas were so thin they were like sheets of paper, with extremely meager toppings. We're not asking for a pizza loaded with ingredients, but at the very least, we expect to find the advertised ingredients. And finally, beware of the prices: the price displayed on the truck is different from the one shown online. It's really unpleasant to discover a price difference when you go to order. At that price, I clearly expected much better. First and last time for me.

08/04/2026: It was a magnificent hotel, simply wonderful… The food was delicious… The reason I deducted two stars for service is because we had already paid for the hotel, but when we checked out, we were charged again for the hotel along with the meal. Since there were four of us, we divided the meal among four people, and I realized it after I made the final payment. We got a refund, but our accounts got very mixed up… Apart from that, it was great…

13/08/2026: The inn is a bit dated, but it's definitely worth stopping for lunch. The generous portions were perfect for our midday break during a hike.

The colors, the aroma, and, last but not least, the friendly team invite you to linger. We only discovered the small terrace in the courtyard on second glance. Parking is free in the courtyard. When we were there, there was hardly any waiting time, and the friendly team took good care of us. The croissants are fantastic and clearly demonstrate why the French love this puff pastry so much. A family atmosphere just the way we like it, a warm welcome that immediately puts you at ease, and the dishes… let's be honest: as generous as they are delicious 😄 (we left happy… and very satisfied!). All this at more than reasonable prices, which is becoming rare these days. A big thank you to the whole team for your kindness and good humor. We will gladly return… and probably with even more appetite next time!
