25/09/2024: I cannot figure out how this place has such a low rating, well I guess I can mainly due to the service, they are great but they could be more welcoming, some look to pursuade you from coming in and eating, a little customer service and this place would be great, but despite not being cheery, they are nice enough
24/09/2024: I went there for dinner with a colleague I ordered a fish sauerkraut good bad luck no haddock fish which gives this particular scent and taste
we double the portions of fish in the salmon zander dish I appreciate the gesture however the sauerkraut is not bad the dish is well garnished but lacks a little refinement. I have already eaten fish sauerkraut that was a bit better. The salad ordered is certainly large but slightly cooked. Too bad for traditional Alsatian cuisine, there are little things to improve. The staff is friendly, the setting is also...

04/07/2025: Five of us were there on our motorbikes in June 2025. The location is fantastic, up on the Markstein. The rooms are simple but clean, only the showers are a bit too small for overweight people. The breakfast was continental, with everything included. The half-board dinner was excellent, always at least three courses, regional specialties. Everything was delicious, but not for people who only know schnitzel. The girls in the service were amazing, incredibly nice, helpful, and approachable. The only downside: the bar always closed around 9:00 PM. But then we were refreshed in the morning, which was OK.
I think we'll be back.

La carte est de plus en plus minimaliste ( il manque déjà des plats à 19h ..
Accueil sans complaisance ..
La qualité dans l’assiette ne suffit pas à fidéliser les clients ..
Nous ne reviendrons pas ..
La communication fait partie du sens de l’accueil..

24/08/2024: Friday August 16, it's almost 9 p.m., my wife and I go to this restaurant to possibly eat again without having reserved. Aware of the lateness of the hour, I approach the boss who is finishing his shift: “Good evening Mr, is it still possible to eat?” His answer is unequivocal. We are dealing with a real restaurant trader: “Come on, take a seat”. The waitress brings us the menu, and to avoid embarrassing her, given the late hour, I ask her what is easiest to prepare. Like daughter, like father, his response is of the same splendor: “treat yourself, sir, lady”. The meal and the service... Perfect. Everything is said. Nothing to add. Otherwise: Recommend

19/09/2024: Good welcome, pleasant team but not always very smiling
The dishes are varied, but the quality is unfortunately no longer present since the departure of the manager. The rice in Makis and sushi is often hard and undercooked and sometimes raw fish smells strong. I advise the manager and staff to take note of the different opinions because it would be a shame to lose customers.
12/09/2024: Great lunch while waiting for train connection. Excellent sushi. Easy access to train platforms by pedestrian footbridge.

Disappointed in its general quality price fortunately that the setting enhances the place.
The fireplace would have been nice to have been lit...a shame there too.
