21/02/2026: Excellent family restaurant. Great food, generous portions and friendly staff, I highly recommend it.

08/01/2026: We had the leg of lamb, sauerkraut, and burgers; they were good but not delicious. The hamburgers were quite expensive (€21). On the other hand, the decor and atmosphere need updating; a facelift would do wonders, especially for a town as charming as Kaysersberg.

07/02/2026: Average service, lots of inefficient back-and-forth. I never received my glass of water despite repeatedly asking. The staff were friendly nonetheless. The terrace was pleasant and fairly quiet. We didn't try the food, only had a drink.

27/02/2026: Another attempt, and the same disappointment. The products (cakes) are overpriced, and the drinks aren't cold because the sun shines directly through the windows into the drinks fridge. Not very smart. The saleswomen lack smiles and easily get our choices wrong. And the terrace is still in its deplorable state.

21/12/2025: We discovered this restaurant during our stay for the Christmas markets. It's an unusual restaurant with its small dining room seating 17, decorated in a style that transports you straight back to the old Alsatian era, much like the owners, who are approaching 80 and still serve authentic, homemade regional dishes. We enjoyed chatting with this friendly couple, and I'll cherish the memory of this place and recommend it without hesitation, despite what you might initially think.

01/03/2026: Absolutely incredible! The kebab is delicious, the meat is amazing, the fries are perfect, and the portion is very generous. It's definitely worth the money. Plus, the service is top-notch; the waitress is incredibly kind and always smiling. It's a real pleasure to eat here. I recommend it 100%!

The meat is flavorful, nicely grilled, and the white sauce is a pure delight—it makes all the difference. You almost want to ask for more just for the pleasure of it. The welcome is truly warm, always with a smile. It makes you want to come back again and again. I highly recommend it!

13/01/2025: Very good traditional cuisine, good service and value for money, small caveat to the term “Vegan” on the menu… the dishes contain cheese which is not “vegan”, the vegetarian term would be more appropriate.

10/02/2026: Abuser has really changed. The burger has more bread than meat, the Caesar salad is nothing like a Caesar salad—it lacks Parmesan and croutons, and the fries are disgusting. The price: €19.50 But at that price, even if it's not much, you can find better. Avoid at all costs.

08/03/2026: Disappointed to have booked and arrive at the door. The restaurant was closed for renovations...and no one from the restaurant informed the customers.

16/01/2026: We were very disappointed by the Chinese hot pot; the bean sprout salad was disgusting. Furthermore, a hair was found in a dish without the slightest apology or gesture of goodwill. Finally, the price of the menu seemed exorbitant!

01/12/2025: One of the best. A super large döner sandwich, for a great price. Very tasty and fullfilling. You never want it to finish. Staff were very welcoming and nice. You can also see them cooking everything right in front of you. I recommend everyone near by to give them a try.

10/02/2026: A truly disappointing experience… Even though the food was good, the welcome and service were catastrophic (and I mean it). We understand that the Christmas market period means endless, grueling days for the staff, but there are limits. Upon arrival, we waited for nearly 10 minutes in a cramped space without any of the numerous people passing by bothering to greet us or provide any information—even though we had a reservation. Once seated, taking our order was just as chaotic: the waitress seemed to be discovering the cocktail and drinks menu for the first time. And when we didn't respond within a minute, she decided on her own that we didn't want to order anything and moved directly to the next customer… Truly amateurish management.

05/01/2026: Excellent lunch at this well-known Riquewihr restaurant! Impeccable, friendly, and quick service; excellent cuisine, everything was delicious, and there's a good selection of wines. Prices are on the higher end of average, so be aware that the menu adds up quickly... We highly recommend it.

28/12/2025: Disgusting. We ordered a Caesar salad, and I don't know if it was the chicken or the croutons that looked like polystyrene (or maybe both). Anyway, it wasn't good, and thankfully the portion wasn't large considering how awful the meal was.

16/03/2026: A truly wonderful experience! The staff were lovely and very attentive. A huge thank you to the team and the chef who prepared a vegetarian menu for us! The rooms are superb, very clean, and have an incredible view. The spa is also fantastic, with different rooms perfect for complete relaxation. Excellent value for money, we will definitely be back! 15/03/2026: The hotel sits perched at an altitude of approximately 700 meters above Colmar, nestled in the valley below. This affords a magnificent view of the beautiful city. Colmar is about a 20-minute drive away. The staff is very friendly and often up for a bit of fun. In addition to a good breakfast, the hotel offers a high-quality and generous dinner (if booked in advance!). While the cuisine may take some getting used to for German palates, it is always delicious. The hotel boasts a lovely spa area on the lowest floor, directly accessible by elevator. However, as regular sauna users, we were very disappointed by the rule that the spa area, including the sauna and steam room (hammam), could only be entered wearing swimwear. Since we booked our stay at this hotel specifically because of the spa area, which was so beautifully presented in the brochures, this was particularly frustrating. Who goes into the sauna in a swimsuit? For this reason alone, we will not be returning. The room was very clean and cleaned daily. While the TV does receive German public broadcasters starting from channel 50, the reception quality is sometimes abysmal! (The picture pixelates and freezes occasionally.) But it's better than nothing! Otherwise, the hotel is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful Alsace region with its picturesque little towns and other attractions.

01/02/2026: We had a reservation for 5 people today at noon. We drove 100 km and when we arrived at the restaurant, we saw a sign saying it was closed due to a technical problem. No one warned us, not even a phone call, so we were left standing in front of the restaurant with no solution and told to fend for ourselves. This is truly unprofessional and shows a complete lack of respect. We will not be returning.
