11/03/2026: It's a lovely shop with helpful staff. You can choose it to try different teas, take a break, and warm up. Seating is limited, but we were very pleased with both the teas we tried and the atmosphere; I recommend it.

13/10/2025: Super sweet shop with lovely owner and staff. Favorite was Le Toit du Monde (?). It was very reasonably priced and you get plenty of we ordered a few and shared to try. Recommend on a chilly day for sure!

05/07/2026: The service was incredibly slow and inefficient – ​​waiting 15 minutes for a menu in an empty restaurant was really tough. The food was average at best, but the prices were exorbitant.

14/08/2026: We spent one night at this bed and breakfast. The welcome was warm and the manager was very responsive. The room was spacious, nicely decorated, and clean. Air conditioning is available in the rooms, which is a real plus these days! The dinner served was very good: quality ingredients, beautifully presented dishes, and generous portions. Breakfast featured regional products (breads and pastries from the village). The bed and breakfast is well located for exploring the surrounding area. In short, a bed and breakfast we highly recommend!

03/08/2026: Stay from July 27th to July 31st. Impeccable guesthouse. Aude and Jacky are very welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean and quiet. Aude prepared excellent and generous meals. Breakfast was also plentiful and varied. Aude gave us excellent advice for visiting the region and discovering local vineyards. I recommend this guesthouse without hesitation. We will definitely return for another stay at the end of the year.

15/08/2026: We hiked to the farm inn for a bite to eat and it was very good.

13/08/2026: Hikers, beware! ⚠️ If you think you can just grab a bite to eat on the go, you're sorely mistaken! After waiting 30 minutes, we went to ask if someone could help us. We were told that without a reservation, we couldn't eat. Suggestion to the hostel managers: Put up a sign saying "no reservation, no meal," it would prevent frustration...

26/07/2026: Great little Italian restaurant with a lovely terrace. The portions are generous and the choices are delicious.

22/07/2026: A place I used to frequent over 10 years ago; I don't know if it's the same owner. But back then, you could go upstairs and borrow a book—it was perfect. I came back because I love this gallery and its diversity. A friend and I went for a drink. It was peaceful, not noisy, just right. The waitress even recommended a cocktail, which I ordered. It was indeed good, but for the presentation and the quantity, it certainly wasn't worth the price of over €9. But despite that, I enjoyed it. Perhaps I'll avoid mealtimes next time, as some reviews say that's when things get tricky. I'd go back, if only for a drink, and I'd get the pastry shop across the street.

30/08/2026: The wine was corked. The waiter denied this and said it was part of having the chef taste the wine, even though it was obvious the wine was not good. She was very difficult about it, but later she admitted it. The zucchini with the meat was overcooked and mushy. The Caesar salad and tomato salad with burrata were tasty.

18/08/2026: Best bar/restaurant in Ribeauvillé. Friendly. Welcoming. Relaxed. Allowed me to charge my bike-battery with ease. And let me finish my beer even after they had closed. Wonderful.

25/08/2026: Bad experience at the Eguisheim shop I had a bad experience at this Alsatian biscuit shop in Eguisheim on Sunday, August 23, 2026. The main saleswoman on duty that day was very unpleasant, almost bothered by my presence with my 5-year-old daughters. Drawn in by the sample biscuits offered to tourists at the entrance, I then wanted to choose my macarons, but she was curt and barely let me choose myself; she decided for me. She even seemed annoyed that another saleswoman had offered me a biscuit to try, going so far as to ask me where I was eating it in front of the queue. I got the impression that she mainly wanted me to leave the shop as quickly as possible. I've tried the same chain in Strasbourg and Colmar, and all the saleswomen there were pleasant, except for this one on Sunday, August 23, in Eguisheim. A disappointing experience that I will not forget.

16/07/2026: Excellent McDonald's! The restaurant is always clean and well-maintained. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Orders are well-prepared, the food is top-notch, and the restrooms are spotless. A real pleasure to eat there. Well done to the whole team!

03/08/2026: We came to Kingersheim to visit family, and so it was the perfect opportunity to eat a flammekueche... Meh, we were disappointed. The salmon was average and dry, not to mention the incredibly slow service... Meh. First and last time!

28/08/2026: After the climb up to explore the castle, it was time for us to eat. We finally stopped at 119! Tom was incredibly attentive and friendly throughout the entire service! The tarte flambée was to die for; this is definitely a place to add to your to-do list when visiting Kaysersberg 😊
