06/09/2024: Un restaurant exceptionnel ! Le cadre, lors des beaux jours, est sublime. En effet, la terrasse intérieur est juste magnifique. La cuisine est une merveille. C'est du grand art. Une adresse incontournable !

06/09/2024: Encore une fois, on est pas déçu. Toujours une expérience culinaire incroyable et rien à envier aux grands restaurants etoilé. C'est toujours un bonheur d'y aller manger. 25/08/2024: Lack of air conditioning in the rooms, the rest is perfect but expensive.

25/08/2024: We spent one night on August 23. The positive points are the breakfast and the service and welcome in general. However, the room was much too hot in this season and the only air conditioning was a fan. Big negative point, we were surprised and terrorized by 4 large muskrats who were lounging at the edge of the pond. We reported this and received the response that they were coypus which contributed to the balance of the fauna and were without danger. I would still like to point out to you that coypus or muskrats are classified as 'pests' in France and can be hunted or captured because they carry many diseases. For the rest, there was a nauseating smell around the pond which was very unpleasant.

12/01/2026: We stumbled upon this lovely and peaceful hotel by chance. The reception was very friendly, and the staff member escorted us to our room. Dinner was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Even though all the tables were occupied, the service staff remained attentive throughout. Hats off to them! Breakfast was plentiful. We will definitely return later this year.

24/09/2024: First time in a long time I haven't eaten here. I had a chicken tchika sandwich with a samurai sauce which was very good and fries. The chicken was good, the only downside was that I asked the waiter for samurai sauce because I had more and he didn't bring it back for me.

24/09/2024: Fantastic authentic place in the middle of the forest, completely away from noise and noise. Real Alsatian food made with soul.

23/09/2024: Very nice little place to taste food from the region (from the garden too) with a superb view and a very pleasant team. Low price.

30/09/2024: Plus que décevant ( achat à emporter) Moricette nicoise un peu de poulet..salade qu on a du sortir car tâches brunes une rondelle d œuf 3€ 80. Comment se remplir les poches rapidement ... Plus jamais poulaillon pour nous. Cela n à plus rien à voir avec la qualité du début où on aimait venir acheter et commander du poulaillon.

13/09/2024: A large Poulaillon restaurant, well organized to avoid waiting at the checkouts. The products and cuisine are of good quality. The setting is nice! To try if you come to do some shopping in the neighboring shopping area.

13/07/2024: Ce restaurant que j’ai connu depuis plus de 20 années, avait la réputation d’être l’une des meilleures tables du canton vert. Mais à nous sommes tombé de haut. Les prix sont restés au niveau d’un semi-gastro, cependant les plats, toutefois bien présentés, n’ont eu pour nous aucun intérêt gustatif. Un demi-œuf avec de la mayonnaise posé sur une feuille de salade en guise d’amuse bouche… vaudrait s’abstenir. L’accueil était correct, les serveuses sympathique, cependant le service manque de professionnalisme.

29/08/2024: The meal was delicious and the quality and quantity were there. The welcome and cordial service in a pretty setting with character was a little spoiled by the very long wait for the order to be taken (more than 45 minutes)

28/08/2024: Es lohnt sich dieses Lokal zu besuchen, hervorragende Küche. Wir haben die Lammschulter für 2 Personen gegessen, vorweg die Schnecken nach Elsässer Art, zum Dessert Creme brulee und flambierte Mirabellen, Mirabellensorbet. Die Weine waren köstlich und der Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen Michael und Anita

20/09/2024: For over a year it has become my canteen, never disappointed! The kitchen, the atmosphere, the staff, everything is very good! You can come and eat there with your eyes closed Special mention since the change of ownership and the work the place is even nicer! What are you waiting for?

13/09/2024: Second visit to this restaurant. As satisfied as the first. It was fast, competent service. We'll linger longer for desserts next time. In any case, for the dish: we ate very well and it was good. Thank you.

17/12/2023: Juste au top! Personnel accueillant, endroit chaleureux. On s y sent comme chez soi! Repas délicieux ! Je recommande++++ . C'est rare de trouver encore des endroits comme celui là. Une pépite !

16/09/2024: Welcomed by a young, smiling and friendly waitress, big disappointment in the culinary quality of the dish ordered, a baeckehoffe. Served in a small blue terrine, the quantity, presentation and flavor of the Alsatian baeckehoffe were absent. Too bad I didn't have the reflex to take photos. Served barely hot, you had to look for the 3 meats offered on the menu, namely veal, beef and pork. The potatoes were not tender but rather potatoes intended for preparing salads. It seemed warmed up again. I kindly made the remark to the waitress who went to see the cook then returned with another terrine (the contents of the first having immediately ended up in the trash). Hot new content but not much better otherwise. I live in Alsace and know this dish well, which I cook on a few occasions. This dish that was served to me could perhaps satisfy a few tourists passing through the region (a shame all the same) but personally very disappointed, especially for the price asked. I won't come back again.

17/09/2024: The staff and the kitchen were really lovely, especially since we had taken the menu blind and had several dietary restrictions. And we really enjoyed all the dishes, it was excellent! We'll keep this in mind for next time. Thanks again 🙏

14/09/2024: I was a little disappointed by the vegetables offered and to find a hazelnut in my dessert even though I had reported my allergy. However, we had a good time.

16/09/2024: Cool location in Ensisheim. You could get lost in the winding rooms, but luckily you'll be guided to the table ;-) No, I think it's really nice! There's a lot going on and the staff is really challenged. Nevertheless, you will be served quickly. The food is very good, the portions are large. The price-performance ratio is definitely right.
