30/09/2026: The bakeries are becoming increasingly industrial, and the terraces are dirty, whether in Wittelsheim, Morschwiller, Issenheim, etc. In Wittelsheim, I had a nasty surprise: lots of fruit flies around a chocolate cake. It was great a few years ago. Now, avoid it.

16/08/2026: I really love this inn. Simple and family-run, it has a life of its own. The restaurant is definitely worth far more than a 3-star rating. The setting is pleasant, fresh, and the warmth and hospitality surpass 3 stars. As for the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the calm atmosphere, the service, and the quick response to any issues their guests might have. You're not just a room number; you're their guests in their warmly welcomed hotel. The breakfast is simple but sufficient, fresh, and enjoyable. In the heat, the air conditioning is a welcome relief, as is the restaurant, which is either air-conditioned or located outdoors surrounded by greenery. Parking is easy, with spaces available in front, behind, or next to the hotel. The restaurant's location is very close to Mulhouse and the highway, allowing easy access to all destinations. 26/09/2026: Avoid this shop. I had a terrible experience with the staff. I simply pointed out that a gentleman cut in front of me while I was waiting, and the saleswoman had the nerve to reply, "Oh well, it's not the end of the world." She refused to serve me, claiming she had to ring up the gentleman, even though he was already being served by her colleague. I explained the situation, and seeing her attitude, I finally told her I wasn't going to buy anything. She then replied, "Well, don't buy anything." This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable for a business, and certainly not good customer service. We can understand that there might be a crowd or mistakes in the order of service, but politeness and respect for customers should be the foundation. And unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've witnessed a lack of respect from the staff at this bakery. The management of this bakery really needs to review how customers are received and treated.

18/08/2026: We stopped for a snack. Cappuccino and espresso. A doughnut, two Morissettes, and a baguette cost €16.60. If they had been good, fine. But the doughnut had stale, synthetic cream, the Morissettes were freezing cold, and the ham was plastic. The coffee was barely decent. But the real scandal was the decidedly awful baguette. There are better places for the same price. Definitely.

30/07/2026: I arrive at 7:25pm, it closes at 30, logically they can still sell me a baguette, but no everything is closed, the employees look at me as if I were late… too bad it should say 7:20pm closing time not 30.

24/08/2026: I ordered the cold buffet for a wedding reception. I was very satisfied! Everything was excellent, beautifully presented, fresh, and well-served! All the guests thoroughly enjoyed it. Very good value for money. The staff at the Horbourg store were very friendly and attentive.

21/08/2026: I've always been satisfied with the products and dishes offered. The portions are generous and the value for money is quite good. Their support for local producers is also a real plus for me! And finding a daily special for under €8 is practically a miracle these days. As for the quality of the welcome and service: consistently excellent. I really don't understand the negative reviews unless they're simply unfair.

21/05/2026: Where do I even begin with this hotel? The hotel's decor is okay; it's furnished in a medieval style, giving it a certain cozy, almost romantic feel. The lady at breakfast was friendly and satisfactorily fulfilled our requests. Upon arrival, we had access to a combination lock. Breakfast consists mainly of puff pastry and pretzels. If you want (and speak French), you can also order something from the counter; otherwise, there's fruit, yogurt, jam, and spreads. Unfortunately, I can't say such positive things about the hotel room itself. Sure, it's nicely furnished, and it definitely achieves the look of a medieval room, but the door was already heavy when we walked in, and we couldn't lock it because the cylinder lock was broken. We could only use a chain from the inside to secure the door. Secondly, the light in the bathroom didn't work, and another light above the sink didn't have a switch (or we couldn't find it). Also, the entire hotel room is tiled; you won't find a carpet here. The pictures show a fireplace, which isn't real, which isn't a big deal, but it didn't work either, nor did the heating. We managed to keep warm with blankets from a creaky wardrobe and an air conditioner on the wall set to 30 degrees Celsius. Finally, the cleanliness was a problem: cobwebs and dust were everywhere, including on the ceiling. The toilet was also dirty, with unidentifiable stains, and there were various stains in and around the bed and on the sofa. The table wasn't level and wobbled with every touch. The hotel itself is nicely located in the city center, and everything is easily accessible. Overall, it was okay for one night. We were a couple, but we won't be coming back.

17/05/2026: We ate there during our trip to Alsace, and the food was terrible. The pasta and quiche were awful. The staff wasn't very friendly either. I won't be back.

26/11/2025: Honestly, not great. Two trout tarte flambées. Either they were both way overcooked, or just plain old but not good! And we pointed it out, so we might as well not say anything... Dessert was fine. But honestly, if tarte flambée is just going to be made with stale, crumbly bread, they shouldn't even be offered!

14/11/2025: Hello, I only have one thing to say… why was there sugar in the syrup when I ordered a violet syrup? Otherwise, it's not great here.

22/09/2026: Welcoming and helpful owner, smiling and energetic waitress. Excellent meal: butcher's cut, a generous plate with a beautiful piece of beef, fries, salad, €24.90. A lovely dessert menu. A beautiful terrace and a convivial dining room.
