04/07/2026: It’s the ‘rent by the hour’ motel on the side of the road kind. Airco is broken. You get a bed, a tv and an bathroom. But as we say in the Netherlands, if you pay with peanuts, you get monkeys.

15/08/2026: I'm sorry to say this, but when you see tarte flambée that isn't even on the menu and they tell you to ask for it??? And then I hear a customer say "don't bother me"??? It's a shame, the food is good but the service from that gentleman is not. I'm really shocked and disappointed 😔

19/07/2026: The service was disappointing... When we arrived, the waiter gave us a dirty look, as if we weren't welcome. The service was very slow; we had to wait 50 minutes for our food. There were two waiters on the terrace: one who was busy with everything and the other who was doing nothing. There were a lot of flies on the terrace, which was unpleasant. The homemade iced tea wasn't very good. The summer salad is a disaster! There was practically nothing on the plate; for €19.80, it's outrageous! We ordered a butcher's cut of meat rare, and it arrived pink. In short, I don't recommend it.

19/08/2026: A great place to have a fantastic time! Cristal Bowling in Wittelsheim is truly a must-visit for fun with friends or family. The bowling alley is very large, with tons of lanes, and the beautiful, bright screens create a modern and immersive atmosphere. As for the food, it's really excellent and allows you to fully enjoy your evening without needing to go anywhere else. There are also pool tables, arcade machines, and plenty of other ways to have fun and a great time! Special mention goes to the waitresses and waiters who are incredibly kind, smiling, welcoming, and always pleasant. It really makes a difference! A complete, modern, and friendly place that I recommend without hesitation!

02/04/2026: The bread is good, but there's a real problem with organization, or more likely, a lack of staff. You very often have to wait 15 minutes, or even 30 minutes, to be served.

22/07/2025: Big disappointment. For a Saturday evening, only 3 tables set up on the terrace, that should have been a warning sign for us.... I'll stop there, not wanting to be unpleasant, but this restaurant should be avoided! 3-star rating for the service, as it was provided by a very young girl (who must have been the owner's daughter). 25/07/2026: 3 soft drinks and 1 water: 18.5 euros. No service. Glasses not clean.

19/07/2026: We sat for 5 minutes, then l a young man standing by our table - never said a word until we asked if we could help him - then we realized he was the server. Put our food order in with drinks. Never received our carafe of water. As soon as the food was served they asked for payment. No issue about that. Then the server proceeded to remove the plates and drinks not served 5 minutes previously. We stopped him and requested time to finish our meal. We felt rushed as if they wanted our table. As soon as we finished our meal and drink we gave our table to a couple looking at the menu. Please allow time to appreciate the meal and drink

22/08/2026: I went in here a second time completely by chance, and it was only afterward that I remembered I'd already been here once and had told myself I wouldn't come back. Unfortunately, this second visit left me with exactly the same impression. The atmosphere seemed unpleasant and unwelcoming. The man at the entrance didn't inspire confidence, and when I ordered just one taco, I clearly got the impression that he wasn't happy about it. The taco itself didn't appeal to me either; I simply didn't find it tasty. After this second experience, I can say with certainty that I won't be returning.

19/08/2026: We were looking for a halal and hygienic place. We found this one on the way. The döner is recommended. Although not exactly like the ones in Türkiye, it was good and delicious.

17/06/2026: What a shame to be a customer for years and find that advice is only given if you're "friends" with Anne-Marie. She's been fed up with her job for years; it's time she closed up shop and lived the life she wants.

02/08/2026: Very disappointed. It was impossible to replace one scoop with another. The Banana Split was made with the wrong flavors. The staff told us it was in their policy and they weren't allowed to replace ice cream. If you don't like it, go somewhere else. They said you can't run a business like that. Go get ice cream somewhere else; you'll be better served. The managers should go and learn from their mistakes. As a customer, I have the right to give my opinion. I won't be back. For your information, go learn how to make a Banana Split before telling customers nonsense. It's made with a scoop of chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry, a banana with whipped cream, and you can put one or two cherries on top. It's a disgrace to have served it to me the way you did and call it a Banana Split.

12/07/2026: My advice: avoid this place. This ice cream shop is riding on its long-standing reputation but couldn't care less about customer satisfaction. For example, this afternoon, due to the high volume of customers because of the heatwave, we were offered seats in the sun. Out of frustration, we accepted. Ten minutes later, seats in the shade became available. We asked if we could change tables and were flatly refused. Furthermore, we had to ask for water with our ice cream. Basic courtesy for any ice cream shop is to provide glasses and fresh water when serving ice cream. Run for the hills!

18/08/2026: Varied cuisine and convenient service. My only complaint is the very cold owner who charged me 2 euros for a carafe of water, claiming I hadn't ordered any drinks with my meal, adding, "I wouldn't be able to manage if everyone did the same." Appalling.

03/08/2026: The food on the terrace is excellent, with a full menu for under 12 euros. I highly recommend it.
