24/01/2026: We arrived from our trip hungry and were looking for a place to eat. Since it was in front of one of the main squares on Christmas Day and seemed like an inviting place, we went in to ask for information. We were judged for having luggage and treated rudely. If we wanted to read the menu, they told us to go outside to read the sign and turned their backs on us. Because of the way we were received, we chose another place for our Christmas dinner. I do not recommend it! Responding to the owner's comment, it wasn't four suitcases, it was just one small one and one larger one belonging to my friend. The nearby restaurants welcomed us very well. The language barrier is the worst excuse to use and is xenophobic, since I speak both languages ​​mentioned as I live in France, although with a more pronounced accent as it's not my first language. At no point was a waiting time mentioned; it's just an excuse to mask the disdain of the service, which was the real reason we chose not to stay.

29/07/2026: We were looking for a good place to have dinner as a family, so we went into this restaurant. First, we were asked to go outside and wait, even though the restaurant was completely empty. A few minutes later, they finally seated us… at the very same table we were originally going to sit at. The waiter brought us the menus before disappearing for a good six minutes. When he finally returned, it was only to ask if we wanted drinks. We told him we preferred to order our food directly. He then disappeared again for what felt like an eternity—enough time for a bike ride from Strasbourg to Colmar. We wanted to stay positive, so I put my phone on the table with the stopwatch. Strangely enough, the waitress arrived shortly after. Seeing the stopwatch, she snapped, “Oh no, you don’t use a stopwatch!” in such a haughty tone. She then went and told her colleague as if they were the victims, even though I would have had time to go into the kitchen, prepare my meal, eat it, go home, and go to bed before anyone even thought about taking care of us. Simply appalling service. It's blasphemy!

28/07/2026: I ordered a Caprese salad and an Exotica pizza, but I ended up receiving a Caprese pizza instead. The waiter admitted he misunderstood the order and apologized, but didn't even bother to replace it. My partner had to get up to ask for the salad we had ordered from the start. When it came time to pay the bill, I asked where the pizza we had been charged for and then cleared away was, so I could at least eat the salad. I was very disappointed by the waiter's incompetence and the lack of consideration shown for his mistake. Fortunately, a waitress took over with great kindness and professionalism. The food was still excellent.

14/08/2026: Avoid at all costs! We placed our order 3 hours ago and we're still waiting for our pizzas. We called Domino's to find out the status of the delivery, but they offered no concrete solution. They told us that if we wanted a refund, we had to email the owner… except he's on vacation and we'd have to wait a week for a response. We then asked to speak to the manager, who gave us the exact same answer, in a particularly unpleasant and condescending tone, as if we were old friends and were bothering him. A 3-hour wait for a pizza order is simply unacceptable. The problem isn't just the delay, but especially the way the situation is being handled and the lack of consideration for customers. We'll probably eventually receive our order, but after 3 hours of waiting, the experience is already largely ruined. I think the delivery driver went through Paris, then Lyon, then New York, and finally to our place… Avoid at all costs.

14/08/2026: We went there on a sweltering day because it looked so good. When we arrived it was closed, and it seems it's been closed for a long time, even though Google said it was open. Update your Google listing and have some consideration for those who want to patronize your business; you're incredibly careless.

26/07/2026: Excellent! The cordon bleu was perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside. A real treat, top-notch service. I highly recommend it!

14/07/2026: Ordered 6 pizzas tonight, received 5… paid for 6. We didn't notice right away. Trusting them… But no, it's impossible to get hold of anyone on the phone. Okay, it's Crazy Tuesday, okay, it's the semi-final, but that's no reason not to have a complete order or even answer the phone for 30 minutes!!!

06/07/2026: If only your delivery drivers would respect the rules of the road... Every time you make a delivery on Rue des Sapins in Rixheim, your drivers shamelessly drive the wrong way down a one-way street. Well done, putting other road users (and themselves) in danger. Great publicity for your company. Last infraction, July 6, 2026 at 9:25 PM. Please teach your employees some respect.

20/08/2026: Great sandwiches. Friendly and fast service despite a long queue. Nicely located on Rue des Clefs.

22/07/2026: The burger we were served was almost raw and still cold inside. When we complained, the already partially cut burger was put back on the grill (apparently with the sauce still on) and then served again with the now-cold fries. After another complaint, the fries were reluctantly replaced, but not the burger. The server initially refused to help us with our third complaint. Only after a heated and somewhat loud discussion, which other guests overheard, did another server arrive. Finally, the burger and fries were freshly prepared and served. That was definitely our first and last visit to this restaurant.

18/07/2026: A cold, unremarkable pancake and an iced tea with a glass of melted ice cubes. The toilet is indeed filthy and lonely, causing us to wait in line for a long time. The waitress certainly did not have a friendly demeanor. Just another tourist trap, then.

04/08/2026: Total chaos with the service, resulting in one salad arriving at the table half an hour after the other diners had already finished their meal. Apparently, there were also problems with the food service at other tables. Very disappointing.

03/08/2026: Too expensive for what it is, the same price as a restaurant except it's a self-service place with very average quality/quantity ("small vegetables" in the children's menu: 2 cherry tomatoes). The only downside: no air conditioning during a heatwave, making it unbearable. Avoid it.

26/08/2026: I bought a kougelhopf yesterday. What a disappointment! It had no kougelhopf flavor whatsoever, but instead a very strong taste of rancid butter. Horrible. Poulaillon has a good range of products, but this is truly beyond disappointing.

23/08/2026: Enough is enough: we are regular customers and greatly appreciate the "bûcheron" bread, soft inside and with a nice crispy crust. The bread we bought yesterday, Saturday the 23rd, for a good Sunday morning breakfast, was a tasteless, dry, and, above all, defrosted loaf, with its telltale white collar. Shameful! The least they could have done was mention it! Even when I was buying it, I was stunned to see the saleswoman put down her broom and dustpan and, with the same gloved hands, take my bread and serve it to me. Offended by this unacceptable and reprehensible lack of hygiene, I didn't want to make a scene. This morning, it's the last straw. There's no respect for the customers, which I will no longer be, and, even worse, this absolute and basic lack of hygiene, even setting aside the relative risks of COVID, is completely unacceptable. And I'm not even mentioning the tables; a tray doesn't remove the crumbs left by previous customers. This is evident in several of your stores that we used to frequent. It's lamentable; your business is declining. You're resting on your laurels, which have withered like your bread and your respect for your customers. Nevertheless, there are fortunately other bakeries that truly care about customer satisfaction.

17/08/2026: So I ordered a Niçoise chicken sandwich, but there wasn't even any chicken inside. They gave me two sandwiches, seasoning, lettuce, tomato, and an egg. The chicken was practically nonexistent.

05/08/2026: Rush hour, 12:30 PM I ask which way the line is going, No answer… So I head towards Soultz where I receive a very warm welcome

26/08/2026: The waffle was frozen and smelled like plastic. I asked for Nutella, but there was very little; you had to search for it. I was very disappointed, and the service was rushed.

23/08/2026: Inedible, mass-produced waffles. The waiter took them out of packaging and quickly reheated them; they felt like biting into cardboard. Unfriendly service.
