04/07/2025: Five of us were there on our motorbikes in June 2025. The location is fantastic, up on the Markstein. The rooms are simple but clean, only the showers are a bit too small for overweight people. The breakfast was continental, with everything included. The half-board dinner was excellent, always at least three courses, regional specialties. Everything was delicious, but not for people who only know schnitzel. The girls in the service were amazing, incredibly nice, helpful, and approachable. The only downside: the bar always closed around 9:00 PM. But then we were refreshed in the morning, which was OK. I think we'll be back.

08/12/2024: En visite en plein marché de Noël, nous nous arrêtons dans ce restaurant perché sur les hauteurs de Riquewihr. De l’entrée au dessert, ce fut excellent… un accueil dès plus agréable, et la compagnie de Gaya à notre table a été le petit plus… merci à vous et joyeuses fêtes

09/12/2023: Excellent paella, well-stocked portions, fresh produce and friendly presentation 😀 This paella had been recommended to us by a lot of people, so we let ourselves be tempted for a family meal (4 people), it was just perfect, everyone enjoyed it 😀 The boss is very nice and communication is great, we recommend him 100% and we know where to order our paellas for the future ☺️😋😋

22/08/2024: Really great, I had a bretz'burger, and I tried several in Haut-Rhin, but Issenheim is the best for me. Plus the team is really super nice. Everything was really perfect. It's true that I don't go there often because it's really close to where I live, but that's a mistake, in terms of value for money it's really great.

27/09/2024: Being visually impaired and coming with my guide dog, the boss took the liberty of sending me out without taking my order. Because my dog ​​has nothing to do for him in his establishment even though it is punishable by law. Although I tried to explain to him that he was a GUIDE dog, he took the liberty of telling me that he didn't care about the law. No worries, the courts will be informed of this.

27/09/2024: Being visually impaired and having a guide dog, I was turned away at the entrance by the owner because the dog has nothing to do in his establishment. Explaining to him that this is punishable by law, his response was “I don’t care about justice”. No problem, know that they will be aware of your behavior very quickly.

Passionate about history and art that he was able to help us discover and share his knowledge. The welcome, the cover, the places, it's perfect!! This is why I invite you to stay there.. 15/06/2024: Il y a un parking devant l’établissement, la façade est jolie surtout le balcon ancien. L’accueil est chaleureux et souriant. Le service est soigné et rapide. Nous avons prit l’apéritif, l’apérol Spritz était bien fait et désaltérant… Prix correcte pour les boissons et les menus.

13/12/2024: Nous allons commencer par le positif, belle carte, du choix, peut-être trop... Carde vraiment typique alsacien --> parfait ! Maintenant le négatif : personnels de service catastrophique, je m'explique, 30 min pour avant de nous proposer un apéritif puis a peine moins 1 heure pour prendre les commandes ! Avec une amabilité de la patronne des lieux ... Je veux bien entendre avoir des problèmes de personnel comme dans beaucoup d'établissements aujourd'hui mais là rien, pas d'excuse, pas d'explication, juste un ''c'est bon ça arrive'' au bout 30 min d'attente après la commande des plats quand nous avons demandé poliment si il y en avait pour long car nous avions des enfants... Bref nous n'avons pas passé un très bon moment uniquement dû au personnel de service, c'est bien dommage car le cadre et les plats sont au rendez-vous.

04/08/2024: Kebab Deniz, a sure bet in Bollwiller! I've been going there for years. The portions are generous and the kebabs are always delicious. The fresh ingredients and the boss is always in a good mood with always a word for a laugh, Bollwillerois dollars are one of them. Friendly staff, warm atmosphere. I highly recommend!
