28/05/2026: Decent, but the service gets overwhelmed quickly when it's busy at lunchtime. You can easily spend €40 per person, which is still relatively expensive considering the originality of the dishes... But then again, that's inflation and Rue Colbert is rather "touristy".

01/06/2026: The food was excellent. They weren't the kind you find everywhere. The service was very friendly and quick. The seating was pleasant. There was live music playing across the street.

30/05/2026: A wonderful discovery! Refined cuisine, beautiful flavors, stunning presentation, and generous portions. Congratulations to the chefs and pastry chefs! Very reasonable prices. The staff was incredibly attentive. The dining room is beautiful, spacious, and tastefully decorated. There's a view of the Vienne River. I highly recommend it!

13/06/2026: A slight disappointment. I arrived around noon and asked for banh cuon. "You have to ask in the morning." No bia saigon either. I ordered bo luc lac with rice. It was very salty and had an overpowering lemongrass flavor.

04/06/2026: A charming setting, composed of works commissioned by the chef from an artisan, delicious and surprising dishes (don't hesitate to step out of your comfort zone to try the specialties) and a very friendly welcome.

29/05/2026: A very lovely place, the waiters/waitresses are very friendly and professional. The food was excellent; the prawns with risotto were truly a gem. My compliments to the chef. We will be back.

28/05/2026: What a fantastic discovery! First of all, a very warm welcome from the young, smiling, and energetic staff. We had reserved a table on the terrace with a parasol (33°C 🌞), but we were seated on a wonderful hidden terrace behind the restaurant (they don't tell you everything 😉, and neither do I, I'll let you discover it for yourselves 😄). The meal was very pleasant, generous, and delicious 😛. The establishment is run by a very friendly and dynamic young couple who know how to make guests feel welcome, are very professional, and always have a smile on their face! A big congratulations to you and your lovely young team! Keep up the great work!

24/05/2026: Just a stone's throw from Chinon, the Auberge du Val de Vienne is well worth the trip: a gastronomic experience offered by chef Véronique, who masterfully blends local and seasonal produce – a true delight. Her husband, Stéphane, welcomes guests, offers advice, and suggests a fine selection of regional wines. The service is professional and friendly. Highly recommended!

A big thank you for the dishes and for respecting our requests for perfectly cooked meat, ranging from well-done to rare. The fish was also very good and well-presented. 25/05/2026: The place has ambition, but the food doesn't quite live up to it yet. The burrata lacked creaminess and was served cold in the center, with a haphazard seasoning on the pea purée. The "crying tiger" main course suffered from a lack of direction: a little bit of noodle, a little bit of rice on the side, and an overly salty soy sauce that overwhelmed everything. It's unclear where the chef is going with it. For such high prices, one has the right to expect more precision and coherence on the plate.
