We dined outside, and it was fabulous: the terrace is beautifully furnished, and it was so pleasant to spend time in such a relaxing setting. 06/08/2026: On our second visit, our first impression was confirmed: a truly talented couple of restaurateurs. The cuisine is full of flavor, inspired yet simple. Everything is just right: the freshness of the ingredients, the seasonings… The service is deeply personal and attentive in a family atmosphere, the wine list is extensive… and finally, the terrace overlooking the Vienne River is superb! … the prices reflect the gentle charm of the Touraine region… Honestly, it's worth the detour!

31/07/2026: We were biking to see the Chateau and found this basserie next to the church. Shared a steak frites and omelette with my husband, and it was one of the best meals we had so far in France.

17/06/2026: One of my favourite places in Chinon. Great wine served with a smile by the knowledgeable owner. Perfect setting in the nicest street in this lovely town and with a great view of the Chateau. Cheese and charcuterie platters are the perfect accompaniment. A very special place.

19/07/2026: A very pleasant lunch in a cool, refreshing setting, especially welcome in the summer. We tried the duck, the pike-perch, the vacherin cheese, and the chocolate cake. Everything was excellent, and the owner was very friendly. Just a few minutes from the Château de Villandry, which we visited afterwards. Highly recommended.

22/07/2026: Excellent Lebanese restaurant! We were greeted by the very pleasant owner, who explained the dishes and menus to us. We chose the set menu with grilled meats. We finished our plates and everything! 😃 I recommend it 100%. And I'll be back.

06/08/2026: Beautifully seated next to the castle, they have 1 beer from the local Ale is an Art brewery that I personally love, we had the fish and the butcher cut of the day and they where both great the mead was tender and the fish was nice and buttery, reservation is needed but this was worth it in my opinion 👍🏼

26/06/2026: We came for our wedding anniversary and greatly appreciated the quality of service from the very attentive staff. For our meal, we opted for the mid-range gourmet menu. The dishes were excellent and of very high quality. At dessert time, we were pleasantly surprised when the team wished us a happy anniversary with a candle and a message on our plates. We will definitely return.
