For me, it's definitely the best of its kind in Amiens 👍 The maki rolls are excellent, always fresh and flavorful, and the spring rolls are really great too 👌 I regularly order delivery and I'm never disappointed. A minor drawback is that delivery can sometimes be a little slow depending on the time of day, but this is more than made up for by the quality of the food. I highly recommend it!

15/03/2026: It's a really lovely restaurant, the staff are wonderful. The only slight drawback is that the shrimp and avocado salad with sesame dressing doesn't have quite enough shrimp; otherwise, the dressing is excellent, and I highly recommend this warm and welcoming place.

Great welcome, the chef is very nice, everything is delicious whether it's the beef skewers, the miso soup, the fried chicken, the fish... Bonus: I really like the subdued lighting and the calm atmosphere with little lofi music playing. bottom !

Time seems to slow down, as if you're leaving the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind and entering a suspended moment. And then there's the food. I, who was convinced I didn't like raw fish… this restaurant completely changed my perspective. Bite after bite, I discovered incredibly subtle flavors. It's a true explosion of flavor in the mouth, full of harmony. Everything is perfectly balanced, delicate, and coherent. Each creation, right up to the dessert, tells a story. The textures, the aromas, the freshness of the ingredients… everything complements each other perfectly. For the duration of a meal, you're transported elsewhere. You forget everything and let yourself be carried away by the flavors and the atmosphere. The only time that counts is the hourglass, telling you when your fragrant tea is ready to be savored! A truly memorable and surprising experience that makes you want to come back—and I will! A wonderful discovery that I wholeheartedly recommend!

06/01/2026: So I understand that the price of fish has gone up, but the price is exorbitant compared to the quantities offered. And yet I usually eat Japanese food almost every week. First visit and last. There's Eat Sushi Plus, which is more welcoming, with perfectly decent food, which was unfortunately closed, just 300 meters away, and is much more affordable.

06/03/2026: What a shame! Good service, decent atmosphere, but a major mishap with the food… The four of us went there via The Fork. Everything was fine until we found a hair tangled in the rice of a California roll. At the time, we put it aside and continued our meal. But this first unpleasant surprise made us more vigilant for the rest of the meal… And then, incredibly: not two, not three, but five California rolls with long hairs! Unhappy, we pointed it out to the waitress, who kindly offered to replace the order, but we had lost our appetites after that. Second disappointment: the restaurant then indicated on The Fork that we hadn't checked in, probably to avoid a bad review. Fortunately, customer service rectified the situation after we saw the receipt. In conclusion: I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL. There are much better, and especially cleaner, options in Paris. Pay attention to what you are served and be wary of this kind of practice. As a precaution, always ask for a receipt with your bill. PS: I still have this unfortunate experience recorded in my history on The Fork. First time I've had to contact The Fork customer service.

24/03/2026: Little variety in fish dishes, sushi, shrimp tempura were not shrimp; in short, there is a lack of quality and variety to live up to what they charge.

22/03/2026: Very disappointed with my experience. There were eight of us, and the table layout was completely unsuitable for the conveyor belt system. Only two people actually had access to the belt, forcing the others to rely on them to retrieve their food, which is far from convenient or pleasant. It's all the more regrettable that this limitation wasn't mentioned to us when we made the reservation. If we had been informed beforehand, we would have chosen a different restaurant better suited to a group of this size. In addition, we waited about 20 minutes before receiving our first sushi, which is far too long. A frustrating experience that didn't live up to our expectations.

06/02/2026: This was exactly the place we were looking for. We were surprised to get a table even though we only booked 30 minutes in advance, and we were so glad we did. Thank you to our waitress for all the side dish suggestions and to our chef for the day for his ever-present smile. A rating that perfectly reflects our meal.

28/03/2026: My first experience at this restaurant, ordering takeout, was a truly pleasant surprise! I ordered a variety of dishes: hot, cold, raw, and cooked, and everything was excellent! I don't usually like the taste of ginger, but Shinsekai is THE ONLY restaurant where I've been able to actually enjoy it down to the last bite! 👍 It was a real first for me! I'm no expert, but both the taste and the freshness of the ingredients were truly excellent! Although it was takeout, the interaction with the staff was brief but friendly and pleasant! I highly recommend this establishment, and I will definitely be back! Long live Shinsekai! 👍👍👍😊

08/07/2025: Higuma is and remains a true institution. I always sit down in front of the kitchens, alone or with someone else. It's always a treat (summer and winter). The welcome, the smile, the responsiveness, the service, and the cleanliness are all there. It's a shame that customers don't always fully appreciate this institution, probably due to the cafeteria feel. Thank you again, and see you soon.
