The chef personally serves his signature dish in the dining room, which is a real bonus. In short, we highly recommend this establishment, which in our humble opinion deserves more than one star. 04/08/2026: A disastrous experience to be avoided at all costs! The waiter was magnificently arrogant and insolent: extremely rude and pretentious. He even made discriminatory jokes to my friend of Russian origin. To top it all off, the food was far too salty. While we were calmly discussing this at our table, this same waiter listened to our conversation from behind us and aggressively confronted us: "If you find it too salty, why are you still eating?" A complete failure. Looking at other reviews, I see that I'm not the only one complaining about this particular waiter. If management doesn't fire this employee immediately, this restaurant is headed for disaster. Avoid at all costs!

28/08/2026: Two days ago, we discovered the Safranier restaurant with friends, and it was a wonderful experience! We enjoyed several dishes, including fennel, sardines, and tuna, as well as delicious desserts: a pavlova and a crème caramel. Everything was homemade and absolutely excellent! Special mention goes to the servers, whose professionalism, kindness, and attentiveness truly made our meal even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this restaurant! Thank you, we'll be back very soon! 👏

27/08/2026: Excellent restaurant! We dined at Le Safranier last night and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I had the octopus, which was excellent, and my husband had a delicious bouillabaisse. The meal was truly superb, and the servers were exceptionally pleasant and attentive. We will definitely be back!

28/08/2026: Spectacular location with a stunning view of the Bonifacio cliffs. We ordered two excellent first courses (linguine with zucchini pesto, clams, and bottarga), both generously portioned. The staff is friendly. I'm only giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because I found the menu too limited; I would have expected more choice. The prices are high, but justified by the location.

21/05/2026: They didn't refund my deposit, claiming there were more than two of us, which I disagree with because the deposit is meant to cover the cost of replacing something broken by a competitor. We left the room spotless; we even smoked outside so it wouldn't smell in the room. They're clearly after your money; on their website, you can choose to have rose petals put on the bed for €30, but here's a little tip: they already have rose petals in the bar. You can put them there yourself, saving you €30. I find it absurd to charge so much for a service that's already included in the room price.

14/05/2026: We stayed in the Antigua suite and what a change of scenery! The welcome (whether by phone, upon arrival, or during our stay) was fantastic. The young woman (sorry, I don't have her name) was very attentive and concerned about our comfort. The place was impeccably clean, and the heated pool at 35°C was wonderful. Restaurants and the beach are nearby for enjoying the fresh air. We truly had a wonderful time. The place lives up to its promises! Go for it!

30/08/2026: I recommend this restaurant, which is very affordable. We chose the merguez couscous, a delicious and very generous portion—I'd even say all-you-can-eat for big eaters! Highly recommended! 👍

03/09/2026: The restaurant has a prime location with an incredible view of Villefranche Bay. The food is delicious and the ingredients are fresh. The service is efficient and friendly, without any fuss. I've been coming to this restaurant for ten years now. Always with pleasure. I think it could use a facelift. A good renovation and perhaps a touch of creativity in the kitchen wouldn't go amiss.
