12/07/2026: Had a great evening at Magnolia! We walked in at the last minute hoping to catch the match, and Samia, the manager, kindly found us a table without any fuss. She was amazing all night—running the restaurant while also serving tables, always smiling and making everyone feel welcome. The whole team was just as friendly. Icon. The sweet potato fries were honestly incredible, the calamari were good too, and the atmosphere with the Latin music made it even better. Classic blond beers, and a tequila shot I probably shouldn’t have had at the end, but too excited not to. Samia joked that if France won, she might not be at work the next day. After seeing how hard she works, I really hope she got that day off—she deserves it. We’ll definitely be back!

13/07/2026: We went there to eat somewhat by chance one Sunday. We received a very warm welcome from a very friendly, helpful, and attentive young man. The food was good, and the decor and atmosphere were pleasant. It would have been perfect if the dining room had been cooler on these 40°C days, but you don't necessarily expect air conditioning in a Moroccan restaurant 🙂 Thank you for your hospitality!

13/06/2026: Couscous restaurants have almost all become mediocre, with poor-quality meat and broth that's almost always too greasy. Le Cercle is an exception. A delight: quality and freshness! An exception not only in Auxerre and the Yonne region, but also nationally. For example, despite my extensive experience, I couldn't name a single North African restaurant in Paris or the Île-de-France region in general that's as good as Le Cercle. Warm welcome and fast service to boot. Bravo!

17/05/2026: We were spending the weekend in Auxerre and stumbled upon this great place. We thoroughly enjoyed the merguez couscous, and the staff's friendliness was a real bonus. We highly recommend it!

30/03/2026: The food, the service, the atmosphere and the view were all outstanding. We shared the crab and avocado appetizer, my partner had the scallops (they were sweeter than any we’ve ever had), and I had the Scorpion fish - I’m obsessed with that sauce. I highly recommend this restaurant.

27/06/2026: We were all very sick (group of 15 people). The restaurant owner failed to honor their promise of compensation. I strongly advise against going there.

21/06/2026: Passing through Aveyron, we chose this restaurant. The waiter was very welcoming and attentive, and we ate on the terrace. We ordered a tagine and a couscous with lamb skewers, both excellent. The couscous, the meat and vegetables, as well as the sauce, were very good, especially considering my own background in the Middle East. A must-try.

13/07/2026: We stopped here for lunch around 1 p.m., after a refreshing swim at the beautiful Sagone beach, and it was a bit of a random find. We weren't disappointed. Good food, a lovely view, and good service. A pleasant surprise.
