15/07/2026: It's hard to say anything other than exceptional. The owner is lovely. The food reflects a genuine desire to please; the portions are generous, not just well-filled, but bursting with flavor. Go there, you won't be disappointed.

09/07/2026: I often go to Cèdre Bleu for couscous. The best couscous. I usually get enough for two to take away, and even though I don't have the right containers, Saïd, who is very welcoming, always finds a way to pack the dishes and make it easier for me to carry them to my car with cardboard boxes. The portions are very generous.

03/09/2026: Sure — here's a much more biting and sarcastic version, without being unnecessarily offensive: ⭐️ 1 Star – Water with a Surprise Effect, Please A visit to Les Cinq Sens in Le Lavandou that I won't soon forget – but not because of the good food. I was there alone and had ordered a large bottle of water. Since I hadn't drunk it all, I naturally wanted to take the rest with me. The restaurant's creative solution: They wanted to simply transfer the water into an already opened plastic bottle. Apparently, hygienically refilling any old used or opened plastic bottle is part of their special service concept. Taking an opened original bottle would probably have been too easy. I have to admit: At a restaurant in this price range, I would have expected many things – but not having to worry about which plastic bottle my already paid-for water would end up in. What I found particularly astonishing was that they apparently saw absolutely no problem with this procedure. Customer service looks quite different to me. A truly remarkable experience – but one I could have happily done without. So, for me, it's a case of: once and never again. Fortunately, Le Lavandou has plenty of other restaurants where you actually feel like a guest.

15/08/2026: Location: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Food: 2/5 A disappointment We ordered a mixed fish platter for two, priced at €86. The fish fillets, arranged on a bed of mussels, were served lukewarm and dry. Five minutes later, everything was cold. The other fish dishes arrived at the table barely warmer. The vegetable of the day, a ratatouille, must have been sitting on the ground for a few hours. Either it was a mass-produced product that had been reheated ten times, or the chef was tired… There were no real vegetarian options: the only choice was to ask for the scallops or ham to be removed from certain dishes. For dessert, the ice cream sundae was a pile of sorbets and sauces all mixed together, topped with a whipped cream that was as industrial and bland as it was voluminous. It was difficult, under these circumstances, to appreciate each flavor. The pistachio crème brûlée, on the other hand, was much better. In the end, the bill came to over €240 for four people. For that price, one has the right to expect significantly better. Only the service was up to scratch: very professional and attentive.

14/08/2026: We were seated late for a table of eight. We all had an extremely good meal; it was delicious, generous, and fresh. The service was also excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

10/08/2026: After six years away from this restaurant, I finally had the chance to return during my vacation, and what a treat! 🥰 Even after all these years, nothing has changed: the welcome is still excellent, the staff is lovely and very friendly, and above all, the food is still delicious. 😍 I highly recommend this restaurant to all lovers of Lebanese cuisine! ❤️ It's always a real pleasure to go back.

13/06/2026: Couscous restaurants have almost all become mediocre, with poor-quality meat and broth that's almost always too greasy. Le Cercle is an exception. A delight: quality and freshness! An exception not only in Auxerre and the Yonne region, but also nationally. For example, despite my extensive experience, I couldn't name a single North African restaurant in Paris or the Île-de-France region in general that's as good as Le Cercle. Warm welcome and fast service to boot. Bravo!

17/05/2026: We were spending the weekend in Auxerre and stumbled upon this great place. We thoroughly enjoyed the merguez couscous, and the staff's friendliness was a real bonus. We highly recommend it!

01/06/2026: This was a dinner at the beach while enjoying the vineyards right behind you. We had both fish and meat and they were both exquisite. The service was fast and attentive even though the restaurant was full. We loved it and would go again when visiting next time. Highly recommend.

01/06/2026: At the restaurant on Christmas Day 2024. The place was magnificent, the welcome and service very good, the meal (Christmas menu that day) was good, except that it was served almost cold, due to the distance between the kitchen and the restaurant from the outside. Otherwise, really good. I recommend the Cap Béar white wine, truly excellent!!! Regarding the problem with the outdoor service, it would be easy to install a removable, protected corridor from the kitchen to the dining room in winter, which would facilitate and improve service, and also provide shelter on bad weather days. Otherwise, everything was great!!! We'll definitely be back again in spring, summer, or autumn; we're not far away!!! I just received your reply today... regarding protecting the dishes from the cold, it would be enough to cover them... something to consider if there are no other solutions.

20/08/2026: A superb experience at Desavie! For my starter, I had the zucchini blossom, followed by the turbot as a main course, and everything was simply excellent. Truly masterful cuisine. I especially loved the zucchini! And a special mention for the chef: charming, very kind, warm, and extremely friendly. You immediately feel welcome, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. 16/08/2026: Today we ate at Chem's and were absolutely delighted! The vegetarian tagine was delicious – perfectly seasoned, the vegetables were superb, and it was bursting with flavor. We also had a fresh salad with crispy falafel. We especially want to commend the friendly and attentive service. We immediately felt welcome and well taken care of. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this restaurant.

25/07/2026: A small Moroccan restaurant in the heart of the Drôme Provençale. The warm welcome makes you appreciate this restaurant even before you see the menu. The dishes are generous and of high quality. We thoroughly enjoyed the tagines and couscous. And the pastries... simply perfect.
