03/09/2026: I am delighted that we went here for lunch. We arrived just after 1200 and do not have a reservation. It was not busy YET! The extraordinary experience begins the moment you enter the restaurant. I love the vibe. Then you wait to be given the menu. What’s available is presented by the owner. He does this whenever customer’s arrive. You must listen and listen very well! I noticed that it is a three person operation so it might take a little longer for orders to arrive. I can wait all afternoon as I was enjoying the experience. It is situated at a busy intersection yet there is no traffic noise. A must visit when in Marseille. Merci

26/08/2026: August 26, 2026, at noon Thank you, Chef, for this delicious Royal Couscous, which truly lives up to its name. A marvel of flavors, aroma, quality, and quantity: fine, supple, and piping hot semolina, a perfect broth, perfectly cooked pieces of meat (lamb, chicken), a tender, slightly pink but piping hot kebab, and a wonderfully flavorful merguez sausage. I never tire of this couscous restaurant. The owner/chef is incredibly welcoming, down-to-earth, and friendly. It's not a big establishment, but it's so pleasant to have lunch in a typical, pleasant, and clean setting. It's always a delight. For couscous lovers, go there; you won't regret it. Thank you, Chef, and see you soon!

31/08/2026: A few friends and I went there on a Saturday evening, without making a reservation. The place was packed and obviously there were no tables available. We were standing outside the restaurant, already trying to figure out where to try our luck next when a guy from the restaurant came rushing out, telling us they'd have a table for us in half an hour. That experience was off to a good start and only got better. Food was exceptional, service was super friendly, and pricing very reasonable. When in the region again, I'll definitely be back for another delicious meal. Thanks

06/08/2026: Fantastic value for money. The menu is rather limited, but features very tasty, balanced dishes. All the different dishes we ate were delicious. My daughter had the mackerel as a starter. We had the beef fillet with thyme and the poultry ballotine with morels as main courses. For dessert, we had the crème brûlée, the millefeuille, and the chocolate mousse. Cold tap water is included for free. My husband had a nice glass of red wine (something with Fleur de Syrahne) and I had a delicious bottle of Ginger Beer. After dessert, we also had a tasty espresso macchiato (café noisette). All together for barely €40 per person (so including drinks). If we are ever in Grenoble again, we would love to go back!
