25/03/2026: Excellent cuisine prepared by a culinary wizard, with top-notch service. A restaurant that's all too rare these days, especially at such a reasonable price. An obvious choice!

26/07/2026: The storefront was neglected, with a withered, even dead, potted palm tree. No one greeted us upon arrival, and we had to wait standing up for a long time, despite having a reservation. There was a long wait between courses. The atmosphere was completely lacking, apart from the conversations of the other diners. The "fruit cocktail" served as an aperitif turned out to be a mixture of concentrated fruit juices, sold for 6 euros a glass... Admittedly, they added an ice cube. The couscous was mediocre, with hardly any zucchini among the vegetables... And it was July, no less. Overall, a disappointing experience.

04/07/2026: Wow! I've had my share of couscous, but this one is in a league of its own. Between the tender meat and the melt-in-your-mouth semolina, not to mention the warm welcome, you can't pass through Saumur without going. I came, I saw, I came back.

14/06/2026: A very nice neighborhood bistro. The service is welcoming, quick, friendly, and efficient. The food is excellent, generous, homemade, and hearty. I tried the swordfish steak: perfectly cooked 😜 A great atmosphere. It's a shame (but not their fault) that the terrace is on the sidewalk. It's still very pleasant to eat outside. I recommend it. Thank you.

23/06/2026: We had a family birthday lunch there. The service was impeccable and welcoming. The quality of the food was perfect, and the portions were generous. A real bonus, given the circumstances, was the air conditioning, which was very much appreciated during the heatwave. We will definitely be back.

22/07/2026: Our meal tonight was exceptional. The service was delightful, friendly and efficient, food was tasty, fresh, all with a french twist. We ordered main courses of chicken with mushroom risotto and a pork shoulder with creamy mash followed by a Panna Cotta with fresh strawberries and coulis for dessert and espresso coffee. The advice from our waiter on champagne and wine was excellent too which added to the positive experience. Pleasant relaxed St Remy ambience.

20/07/2026: A wonderful discovery! The cuisine is refined, flavorful, and prepared with care. The atmosphere is intimate, the service impeccable, warm, and professional. What's more, the waiter is a former head sommelier, offering expert advice on the wines he suggests. We had a delightful time. Thank you! A truly excellent restaurant that I wholeheartedly recommend and will gladly return to!

20/07/2026: Had a delicious meal! Beautiful panoramic view from the terrace. The food was prepared quickly; we both chose a vegetarian dish which tasted incredibly good. More than ten different vegetables, prepared in different ways and truly a delight for the taste buds. Friendly owner, always ready to assist the guests.

The staff is lovely; you can tell they're making sure your experience is perfect! 🙏🏼 The food is flawless; you can tell it's homemade and generous portions, but always delicious. 😋 As for the restaurant's decor, I love the traditional oriental ambiance. Go without hesitation and prepare yourself—it's incredible!

11/05/2026: The hostel is well located, pleasant, and the welcome was perfect! The breakfast was really generous and delicious. The rooms were quiet, though the bathrooms could perhaps use a little updating. We didn't try the restaurant.

11/07/2026: The decor was fantastic, Corsican music played in the background, the charcuterie was divine, just like back home, and the dishes were very generous and well-prepared. And I'm a chef myself. It's a great place, go for it!
