15/09/2024: Si vous aimez la cuisine orientale ce n’est malheureusement pas la bonne adresse ! Des prix exorbitants pour un service et une cuisine fade et sans saveur ! Ma sourie d’agneau a 35e baigner dans de l’huile et de l’eau.Le personnel n’est pas accueillant , pas un sourire, à mon avis l’humeur du gérant déteint sur eux qui est un personnage odieux, arrogant ! Le restaurant est sale , toile d’araignée, poussière, car de menu avec des traces de doigts, banquette sale tâché ! Je n’y mettrai plus jamais les pieds et irais dépenser mon argent ailleurs !
15/09/2024: Le cadre est magnifique, mais certaines personnes sont hautaines ( la beauté ne fait pas tout…… le sourire , l accueil , l’amabilité devrait être voir par ces personnes)
Heureusement que certaines serveuses / serveur sont là pour relever le niveau.
La sauce est fade pas de goût , les viandes sont parfaites.
Boissons cher .

We were looking for a place to have ice cream in the middle of a heatwave.
Total surprise upon entering the store which was in fact not at all an ice cream parlor like so many others but a real little corner of freshness in every sense: freshness of the temperature in the room with its vaulted arches, freshness of the very pleasant and cheerful welcome, freshness of the flavors offered (a groooos grooos ++ for these ice creams which smell and taste good, homemade), freshness of the teas (ah yes no... but delicious teas all the same :)
And when we go to pay at the counter, let ourselves be tempted by pastries and they manage to both prolong the PLEASURE the next morning and the SURPRISE (I didn't remember the name of the pastry made from dough). sesame (?) adorned with a purple color that is absolutely to die for).
In short, we are not nearby, but we will come back with great pleasure and we will also recommend!!

10/09/2024: We called at lunchtime to make reservations for the evening, a Thursday at the end of August.
We had given the list of unwanted foods to my partner and it turned out that on the menu there was only eggplant and tuna which required an adaptation of the menu.
The first course, after the second starter, consisted of cucumber water, merguez oil, diced cucumber, and three slices of tataki-style tuna with its sauce.
The tuna for my partner was simply replaced by, again, cucumbers, cut… lengthwise and cut out in a circle above the diced cucumbers… without the tuna sauce… the height of creativity… and with such a delicious dish, you can imagine that her mouth (from the cucumber) was watering….
Is it intellectually sufficient and satisfying to offer this to the customer as a dish?
As a chef, shouldn't I take the initiative myself and indicate to the customer that we have not found a solution to offer a correct dish, and therefore we suggest that the customer switch to 4 courses at instead of 6, or not to charge him for 6 services at full price.
-I offer a surprise menu for the principle of "culinary surprise" but also and above all to make my cooking profitable (let's be clear...), quite expensive menu: I still have to make the effort to find real creative alternatives to my dishes to satisfy my customers, get out of my comfort zone, especially during the week, being in the city center...easy to find fresh products with my local network...The tuna could, for example, have been replaced by oysters...(this will good with cucumber right??)
The waiter had suggested to us that we might have mushrooms to replace the dish with tuna: knowing that that evening there were barely 12 seats, so at most as many reservations, how can you not prepare in advance your service, do your briefing, and tell your customers what you can offer them as a replacement without making these kinds of light assumptions?
Pleasure counts above all and should in no way be tainted by the menu's desire for surprise.
We also have prices for food and wine pairing. When we asked the waiter why this wine and not another during the dish, his answer was: “because I think it went well with the garnish”. Well, yes, we suspect it, since it’s a food and wine pairing… You really can’t go any further in your explanations to push the culinary experience to 26 euros for three glasses?
The dishes, overall (not entirely) are quite bland, poorly seasoned, and that is the basis of a restaurant that wants to be gastronomic to have the right seasonings... and for the 6 courses, we have found that in terms of quantity, it deserved a little more generosity. There was room without denigrating the gastronomic side... We cannot indefinitely divide the quantity of dishes each time we offer additional services in a menu...
When it was time to pay, we had the opportunity to discuss it again with the waiter. While we had given our feelings during the meal on the first course, no questioning was made by the service. The waiter simply told us that this was the usual way and that people were very satisfied like that…
(addition: 190 euros)
Hats off for the questioning, for the individual consideration of the customer...for your non-commercial gesture taking into account our non-satisfaction...for not having offered to involve the chef to discuss it with him. I would have liked to talk about it with him, too bad, he brought us the appetizer, but not the main course.

05/12/2024: Nous étions de passage après avoir visiter quelques châteaux nous rentrions chez nous. Nous avons eu la chance de tomber sur ce restaurant qui ne paye pas de mine au demeurant mais qui nous a permis de déguster un Couscous royal sensationnel et généreux arrosé d'un Guerrouane gris très sympathique. Le rapport qualité/prix est imbattable tant par rapport à la qualité qu'à la quantité. (Vous ne finirez pas votre plat). L'accueil est remarquable. Nous recommandons vivement.
31/10/2024: tout simplement exceptionnel. magnifique accueil et avant tout un excellent couscous gros mangeurs nous avons même laissé au fond de notre assiette… franchement je recommande vivement

28/09/2024: I advise each customer to check the final bill carefully, there are unfortunately a lot of slip-ups: for example a plate of 5 sushi for €50? For my part, I no longer recommend this restaurant, which is accustomed to overcharging, even if the cuisine is at the expected level. Made in Marseille

27/11/2024: A friend introduced me to this little restaurant and I really enjoyed it... so this time we went back... it's really grandiose and very, very good... the scallop ravioli are sublime and the Provençal cod the same... well done to the cook... hats off sir... well done

26/01/2025: Excellent Lebanese restaurant! Very tasty cuisine, I wholeheartedly recommend this place. Lots of vegetarian choices.
By far the best Lebanese restaurant I have been to. We feel that the products are homemade and all the ingredients are of quality and chosen with taste and attention to detail.
I particularly recommend the falafels which are the best I have eaten!
There were 6 of us including one vegetarian and we were delighted by our mezze. Everyone had a great time.
I highly recommend the baklawa to finish off your meal in style.
The service was very quick and the waitress was very pleasant!
My compliments to the chef.

Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans ce restaurant, le cadre est incroyable, la nourriture et +++ pour l’accueil.

Une carte simple , mais, avec des produits de qualité.
Florent, est très chaleureux, énergique et donne d'excellents conseils sur les plats et la Corse pour les lieux à visiter ou non.
Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés. La note est largement mérité.
Excellent, établissement à recommander.

During our visit to Malro Restaurant, we were a group of four people, but unfortunately our experience did not live up to our expectations. As soon as we arrived, we had to wait 20 minutes before someone took our order. A frustrating start which already foreshadowed what was to come.
We ordered the ravioli, Greek salad and two truffle pastas. Unfortunately, the dishes were very disappointing. The famous “truffle” was just a simple sprinkle on top of the pasta, but the truffle flavor was completely absent. As for the ravioli, they were sorely lacking in flavor, almost tasteless. We shared our feedback with the waitress, but these were completely ignored, adding to our disappointment.
The atmosphere of the restaurant gives the impression that they have invested their entire budget in a careful decoration designed for Instagram, to the detriment of the quality of the dishes. While the interior is nice to look at, that doesn't make up for the soulless food and excessively high prices for what's on offer.
In summary, Malro may be a “beautiful” place on the surface, but it lacks the essentials: tasty food and attentive service. We will not come back. This restaurant is clearly not worth the detour.

05/12/2024: Memories of a wonderful bouillabaisse 2 years ago as well as sea urchins enjoyed in front of the sun. We went back and enjoyed the €25 menu including poison soup, small bouillabaisse, tiramisu.
I recommend and I will come back even if I live 700 km away
Good atmosphere. Reservation recommended

03/08/2024: Lebanese restaurant from which I had already ordered several times, more than a year ago, without being disappointed despite a slightly high bill.
But unfortunately I see that the quality of the cuisine has deteriorated.
If you like falafels that are dry and fried and therefore very fatty and very hard, no worries for you. Otherwise, don't order.
