02/08/2026: We found this restaurant by chance near Belfort's main square. I must say the dishes we tried were very good and the portions were quite large. I had a chicken, apricot, and almond tagine, and my partner had a veau tagine with caramelized onions and raisins...delicious. For dessert, we had some delicious traditional Moroccan pastries and an exquisite mint tea. The price was fair, the service was fast, and the place was beautifully decorated. I highly recommend it!

11/09/2026: The pizza was tasty. Everything else was less so.... It is a shame for this place that one waiter was very boorish and rude, in stark contrast to the friendly lady and the friendly cook. Small toilets are a minus point.

30/08/2026: This Sunday at 2 PM. We saw a lovely terrace. We sat down for a drink after a hike. No one came. I went inside to ask, and I was told in a very haughty tone, "We're closed." There were still people inside. We weren't asking for the kitchen to be opened, just for a drink. With that attitude, they certainly won't be seeing me again anytime soon. When you see restaurants for sale in Vresse-sur-Semois, you shouldn't be surprised with this kind of place. It's a real shame; the weather was beautiful. There were quite a few people in Vresse that day.

11/09/2026: The service was disastrous. I had to ask three times for a children's meal that arrived after everyone else, and when I asked for wine, the menu never arrived. The duck breast was cooked poorly, the meat was tough... in short, I was very disappointed with this establishment.

16/08/2026: Excellent! Very warm welcome, delicious food (we tried the burrata, octopus, sea bream, and creamed cabbage with yogurt), generous portions, very good value for money. We'll be back! :)

09/08/2026: Update 2026 The quality of service has deteriorated. You feel like you're bothering them when you ask a question. And there's a haughty attitude that made us very uncomfortable. We asked if the music could be turned down a bit because we were under the speakers. The waitress told us no because she liked to dance. Unbelievable. She ended up doing it while grumbling. I'm a regular and I love this place normally, but I've felt increasingly uncomfortable there for the past few months. — The restaurant is very good and the setting is very nice. The only downside is that it's often very noisy and there's only one vegetarian option (salad). It's 2022, we expect brasseries to offer at least one well-thought-out and thoughtful vegetarian option. This isn't up to standard.

The ceviche is excellent and incredibly fresh, the duck breast is flavorful, the lemonade is refreshing, the sweet potatoes are wonderful, the tables are shaded and the location provides a pleasant breeze, and the bread is very good. I highly recommend this place. The only downside is that the portions aren't huge! But honestly, go for it!

Thank you to Raphael, Gad, and Eden for preparing an incredible all-inclusive road trip for us! (flights, accommodation, activities, and full board) Olami Cadet is a true family where everyone is welcomed with kindness, regardless of their understanding of Judaism or religious practice. I also had the opportunity to participate in Shalem (the completely free trip to Poland for young people), which allowed me to strengthen my Jewish identity.
