29/11/2024: La rose de Tunis is quite simply the best oriental pastry shop in Paris with quality pastries and excellent welcome and customer service. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves oriental pastries.

07/12/2025: I don't usually leave reviews, but this time I had to: Dinner with friends (table of 6) on a Saturday evening, sumptuous, magnificent setting. The lady and gentleman who served us were exceptionally kind. As for the meal, it's simple: DELICIOUS! The foie gras was to die for. Personally, I had a fish quenelle with crayfish cream: I can't remember the last time I enjoyed fish so much. As for the prices: simply commensurate with the quality of the experience, as I often say: "quality remains, price is forgotten." Thank you for this lovely moment of calm and quality; we will be back.

08/07/2025: I've been going there for 10 years and the quality has only improved. It's a real pleasure every time I go. Everything is good; I particularly recommend the iskender, which is excellent. There's also a vegetarian sandwich option, feta and tomatoes, which is rare and really enjoyable. I highly recommend it.

06/07/2025: We had dinner today because it was close to our hotel, and we were very surprised. We ordered a hummus as a starter that was nothing exceptional, but good. As for the main dishes, we ordered a kebab, note 8, and a kofta note 10. The side dishes are very well done, with hot bun, and to surprise us a very nice cat named Léo. I recommend everyone to be close to the place, I would come back if I were passing through.

01/02/2026: The pan bagnat was very good, generous, and well-seasoned. The pissaladière was too salty for me, and the pastry was hard. The Swiss chard tart was very well filled but too sweet for my taste. The prices are very reasonable, and the service is quick. I might have another pan bagnat or a sandwich, but not necessarily anything else.

07/07/2025: Friendly, attentive, and very efficient servers! We had a great meal there for excellent value. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was fast. A lovely surprise that I highly recommend!

09/07/2025: Good food, warm decor. However, the service was not up to scratch. We arrived at 8:30 pm (I should point out that we were late and the restaurant was able to find us a seat, thank you). The request for appetizers was quickly accommodated (a bit pricey for a charcuterie board with four slices of coppa), but the main courses took a while to arrive (45 minutes of waiting): wood-fired pizza, so I don't hold it against them because the food was very good, I want to point that out! The request for desserts was non-existent; the people next to us (on both sides) were all served before us, as if the waiter had forgotten about us but was walking past us while looking at our empty plates! A real shame. The waiter was smiling and very welcoming to all the tables around us, and we were neglected. Was this intentional because we weren't Corsican? Very disappointed, moreover, it is noted that the restaurant takes TRs and obviously immediately "ah no no we don't take them" even though they were eligible. I would not go back.

02/07/2025: UPDATE: One of my favorite restaurants and certainly the most beautiful beach in Ajaccio, but the change of ownership has clearly changed a lot of things. A failed and very expensive dinner, a sad loss for me.

23/09/2024: Le steak au poivre est une merveille ! Ambiance très sympa dans un cadre à l'ancienne très agréable. J'y retourne régulièrement, je prends toujours le steak au poivre !

14/01/2026: The worst restaurant I've ever eaten at. A €29 dish for dry roast lamb, a handful of frozen fries, and a bit of salad. And the 33cl Orangina for €5 was catastrophic. Absolutely terrible value for money. Not recommended.

24/11/2025: We arrived at 6 a.m. on Saturday at lunchtime. It wasn't very busy at that time, but the staff were very pleasant and generous. The dishes were excellent; I highly recommend the lamb tagine with prunes and almonds. The meat was incredibly tender, and the dish stayed piping hot. 😍 Plenty of mint tea was also provided. Thank you for your hospitality.

05/07/2025: We used to come to dinner at the Tavern but tonight what a disappointment!!! I didn't know that the tsatsiki was served in coarse pieces of cucumber, the Greek salad lukewarm, and the large mezze plate, strong doubts about the "homemade", in view of the waitress's comments "we didn't have any left this lunchtime but I'll see if they've bought some more" about the feta pastries!!! The bread, let's not even talk about it, dry and dry, and all that for a bill that's way too expensive. A wasted dinner. The only positive point, the speed of service, at 10 it helps 😀

28/05/2025: The moussaka was delicious, the service friendly, but very slow, so be prepared. The atmosphere here is that of the square, as the restaurant's terrace is the one on Place de Carmes, where it is located.

08/12/2025: Unfriendly waitress, nice owner, average food, bad tiramisu. The owner needs to rethink his business. I came a few years ago and was delighted. I no longer recommend this establishment in its current state.

31/10/2025: Sunny, simple cuisine with a touch of sweetness. Friendly and accommodating service, enjoying the sun on the terrace in late October... like an extended summer!
