01/12/2024: Frankly, the storefront doesn't look much, but the service and food are excellent! I recommend! We had children's menus, octopus and a steak, nothing to say.

02/02/2026: We came to this restaurant because we had a Wonderbox gift voucher. We were charged an extra €30 without any valid justification. We were only supposed to pay €10 for the Iberian ham (a rip-off, as it was an Aosta-style ham, but tasteless and low-quality, and the portion was small...). In short, the waiter explicitly told us that the ribeye steak was included in the Wonderbox voucher, and he charged us an extra €20 for it at the last minute! A rip-off! A tourist trap! Furthermore, if you have any allergies, RUN AWAY!! We explained our allergies, and they brought us food containing the ingredients we were allergic to. It's shameful! We asked for bread four times, there were three of us, and we were given three tiny slices. You'd think the restaurant would have gone under if they'd given us more… We were offered salt and pepper even though we'd finished our meat. And we were offered sauce for our fries even though we'd finished our fries too! Then we ordered a "café gourmand"... what can I say… the more accurate abbreviation would be "diet coffee." We received a plate with two large slices of orange, as if to cover up the utter emptiness of the plate… There was a tiny piece of nougat the size of a mini Carambar candy and a chocolate fondant that was as small as a thumb. And the cucumber? NO COFFEE!!! We had to ask the waiter to bring it (even though everyone knows what a "café gourmand" is, you don't need a PhD to figure it out…). After hitting it on the counter (and incidentally, giving it a good bruising), the waiter brought us back the coffee, which was incredibly strong (we could feel the poor guy's pain... it was whole bean coffee...). In short, RUN AWAY!!!!! Even Philippe Etchebest would be shocked!!!!

01/01/2026: We were very disappointed with our New Year's Eve experience. The menu items weren't clearly explained: we thought a side dish was included with the meat or chicken skewer (€25 and €22 respectively), but it wasn't mentioned that fries (€10 for a very small portion) would be an extra charge, nor was it specified on the menu. We were offered croquettes for €10, without any information about the quantity or the side dishes. When we realized we only had three small croquettes, we had to order fries to have a halfway decent meal. We barely had time to ask a question before the order was placed. For the children, the owner immediately suggested some dishes. We thought it was a nice idea, but we wanted to look at the menu with them before deciding. We didn't have time: the order was placed immediately. Some items were added to the bill with a price, but it wasn't clear what they were for. The service was very rushed: as soon as we asked a question, the owner brought the food or drinks directly without giving us a chance to think. The champagne was very strong and cost €15 a glass, which wasn't mentioned in the description. We barely had time to ask the price before the glass was poured, without us having a chance to really choose what we wanted to drink. The problem wasn't necessarily the price, but the fact that this choice was imposed on us. On the other hand, the wine was excellent. The photos in the reviews looked enticing, but the portions were completely wrong: fewer croquettes than in the pictures and fries served in a very small container. We chose this restaurant based on the positive reviews and were very disappointed. The staff was pleasant and the small restaurant was nice, despite some slightly worn tables. The paella was very good, but the rest didn't justify the prices.

02/04/2025: Lovely restaurant in Tourcoing. We had a wonderful evening, with perfect welcome and service. The dish we discovered: "The Weeping Tiger" was excellent, incredibly tender. We finished with the complimentary tea, which was delicious. Can't wait to go back!!!

09/01/2026: The garden—which I actually knew by another name before this place was created—is pleasant and well laid out. The overall design gives the impression of a friendly canteen, with a patio/garden that adds a real bonus. The staff were welcoming, efficient, and discreet without being intrusive. During my visit, there were about five or six customers, which made the place calm and pleasant. It will be interesting to see how the atmosphere and prices change when it's busier. The space is cleverly optimized, with a smooth flow of movement—you can even, I think, walk right through the kitchens. As for the prices, they are in line with those of the neighborhood, partly reflecting the general increase and the surrounding gentrification. Beyond these considerations, it remains a friendly and pleasant place.

05/01/2026: Da Cito is located at 23 Cours Massena, near the city walls. We savored the delicious creations prepared with passion by the Corsican chef. The menu features numerous Mediterranean specialties, served in very generous portions. It's the most popular restaurant in Antibes, offering traditional Italian cuisine made in-house in a very cozy setting. Impeccable service and very reasonable prices.

26/01/2026: The best couscous in Marseille? It's true that the barley couscous is original, excellent, and easier to digest. The meat on the skewer was very tough, and the lamb was just a lot of unappealing fat. The waitress was quite unfriendly, while the owner was much more welcoming. The decor is exotic and well done. In short, a mixed experience; the value for money isn't great.

02/09/2024: I went to the Hôtel de la Potinière for a beach aperitif in August. Despite a somewhat messy service, the setting is magnificent, the hall is very beautiful between the fresco and the wall of bottles on the bar side, the staff is friendly, the tapas and cocktails are refined and elaborate.

31/08/2024: This hotel was a wonderful surprise, of reasonable size and re-decorated with perfect taste. The small beach seems private, there were very few people in the middle of August. But the most important point is the professionalism, kindness, helpfulness of the team. All adorable, we felt appreciated and pampered in this hotel! Perfect for a romantic stay, even in high season. We will definitely return there next spring.

01/10/2024: I have eaten at La Scala several times; the staff are very pleasant and helpful. The dishes are delicious, but the downside for the pasta dishes: I find that there really isn't enough pasta each time, I'm left wanting more.

28/09/2024: Fairly good atmosphere, too bad the dishes are not seasoned enough and disappointment when cashing, no commercial gesture or reduction on the bill despite a small error from a server who did not do it on purpose.

15/01/2026: We went for New Year's. The owner is absolutely awful!! The welcome was appalling, a woman who was meaner than ever!! No organization whatsoever, a €65 menu for a shared couscous... just greedy!! She forces people to pay before they're even seated, and the waitress is vulgar!! Avoid at all costs!!!

25/12/2025: The couscous is OK, but don't order the gourmet coffee! It's all industrially produced, despite the presence of small oriental pastries on the counter!

25/11/2025: A huge thank you to the OH GOBIE restaurant and its owner, Gabriel! A true example of kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism. He opened his restaurant especially for us after my mother's funeral, even though it was closed. He managed to organize everything in less than 48 hours to accommodate 60 people: a remarkable feat, accomplished with a smile and incredible skill. The place is incredibly pleasant, warm, and welcoming, and both the atmosphere and the service were perfect from beginning to end. An exceptional owner, a restaurant to recommend without hesitation. Thank you again for everything!
