14/01/2026: There's a reason why the Auberge de Mestre Elie has existed for over 60 years, despite being located in a hamlet of a dozen houses, at the very end of a 9km departmental road that takes you from 700m to 1400m altitude. There's a reason why it has been featured several times on regional and national news programs (and continues to be). It's because it's magnificent! The location is incredible, the charming hamlet of Bouchanières, on the edge of the Mercantour National Park. Its pretty little church, its view over the Var Valley via the Daluis Gorges... The welcome is warm and friendly; the hostess is so welcoming and kind. And of course, the food is superb, from start to finish, with a special mention for Eliane's ravioli, whether you choose the walnut or meat sauce (and I recommend ordering both if you're a large group)... The best ravioli in the world! In short, it's definitely worth the trip, which is why it's still going strong after all these years, even though it's a bit of a drive to get there. It's truly worth it. If you go, you're in luck. Call ahead to make sure the Auberge is open (which it usually is, but double-check and let them know you're coming). And while you're there, take the opportunity to visit the Bouchanières honey farm (run by another family), and explore this beautiful area, see the church, and so on.

23/01/2025: I come to this brewery regularly. I go there with my family, clients... Beautiful sunny terrace, very nice address. The food is very good and at very reasonable prices. Led dishes are very good. I recommend.

21/12/2025: I'm a vegetarian, and this is the first time I've found a vegetarian pizza that was so generously topped and delicious. I used to walk past it often, and this week, arriving home late, I stopped in and ordered this pizza twice, and both times it was equally good.

24/05/2026: An excellent spot in Le Rouret for food lovers. Here, everything is homemade with care, and the menu changes weekly, featuring variations on meat dishes, burgers, waffles, and fish. They also have a great pizza menu with a pizza of the week and a pizza of the month. For tiramisu lovers: it also changes weekly, and it's a real treat. Thank you, we happily return to Les Gourmands every time.

10/03/2026: A small restaurant that deserves to be better known, where you can eat fresh and, above all, delicious food. The menu changes regularly to reflect the seasons. The pizzas, in addition to being original, are made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The icing on the cake is that the dough isn't pre-cooked like some places and puffs up around the edges like the best Neapolitan pizzas. The owners are friendly, which is a nice bonus. Whether you eat in or take away, go without hesitation.

05/06/2026: Very good, very friendly staff. Don't listen to people who say it has no taste; it's a small shop, it's made with love! Excellent Asian sandwich with bubble tea for €10. I also had a mimosa rice dish for €3.50, so it came to €13.50. I thoroughly enjoyed it without breaking the bank. I highly recommend it.

29/05/2026: Must eat here if you like Vietnamese! I got the pork sandwich and the spring roll. The sandwich was perfect! The meat was tender, and super tasty full of flavors. The baguette was very crunchy and it was filled with red cabbage, and other herbs…all super fresh ingredients. ❤️ Sauces of the spring roll was w chunks of peanuts. All homemade. It’s a very small shop, take away only but it made it all that much better to sit on a bench and just focus on the flavors. I accidentally discovered this place passing by but the place had a humble great vibe, so I took a chance. I’m so happy I did. Don’t let the simplicity of the place hold you back, it’s definitely made a love and is worth trying a great authentic Vietnamese meal for 10 euros. 😳 (Pork sandwich and chicken+shrimp Spring rolls). Sorry for lack of photos. It cut me by a surprise. 😂
