04/09/2024: Great ! Order placed via Deliveroo and I enjoyed it. Spring rolls and Chinese ravioli at the top!
The caramel pork and pineapple chicken were good.
The Bo bun consumer noted a small excess of lemongrass. However, all the plates were emptied.
I recommend 👍🏻

05/12/2024: Christmas meal: small piece of tomato/cheese pizza, chicken breast with reheated tagliatelle, green beans and tarte tatin for €30 without drink or coffee while the poultry supreme as the dish of the day was priced at €12.50, look for it 'error ! It is clear that I do not recommend.

31/07/2024: I went for lunch the other day with my work colleague. The place is nice and chill, typical pub vibe...till I ordered two pints of Guiness!!
9.50 euros per pint! It is by very far the most expensive pint I have ever had in my life! That's ridiculous not even in London or Paris you'd match those prices!
18/07/2024: Wir wollten während unseres Urlaubs mit ein paar Freunden Anfang Juli ein EM Spiel im Pub schauen und dabei ein paar Bier und Essen genießen. Morgens hatten wir uns erkundigt, ob das Spiel hier laufen würde. Abends als es dann los ging wurde jedoch nur an einem kleinen Screen und nicht wie morgens zugesagt am großen Screen, das Spiel gezeigt. Zudem hat sich, trotz Nachfrage, das Personal geweigert, den Ton des Fernsehers anzustellen! Mit dem Argument, dass sie nie Ton abspielen… Da macht das Spiel leider kein Spaß - wir sind kurzerhand in einen anderen Pub um die Ecke umgezogen. Sehr schade! So schnell werde ich hier nicht nochmal hingehen…

28/09/2024: Beautiful food, wonderful people, a true gem headed on a side street. They cooked special dishes for my 1.5 year old daughter. True Italian cooking…. with home style hospitality!!!
27/09/2024: Perhaps one of the best restaurants in Cannes (or France)!
Exceptional and refined cuisine.
The owner explains the dishes written in Italian in great detail. The pasta is homemade and fresh! We really fell in love with this restaurant where we delighted our taste buds.
I recommend 100%!

01/09/2024: Excellent restaurant, a change of scenery guaranteed with the possibility of sitting at the bar to watch the chefs work.
The sushi is excellent made with fresh produce and the udon is perfect with noodles and quality broth.
The staff is professional, pleasant and discreet.

01/12/2024: One star is just for the increase in toilets at an incredible 0.60 ct!! With 0.50 it was practical and correct. And of course it goes without saying that it’s not the maintenance workers who see the color of this or who are paid more? No! It's just to grab a few more people and make some margin.
Well done ! Go ahead 0.70 ct in 2025 continue. ....
30/11/2024: Shopping center which has changed a lot, not a single space or bench to sit, it's bad.

27/09/2024: A very good restaurant in Cannes. If the menu shows bottled wines only, it is possible to order just one glass. Mineral water is available, although quite expensive. We understand that the intention is to sell mainly high value-added bottles. I recommend the linguine with clams.
07/09/2024: we were walking around Cannes, it started to rain, we found this cafe so as not to get wet and get sick. And horror!!!! An incomprehensible man began to drive us out. We were really ready to have dinner and drink wine! But this horrible waiter or administrator just yelled for them to leave. Cannes! Tourist city, center and such a bad attitude!!! we see this for the first time here! Therefore, we strongly do NOT recommend these uneducated people!!! Choose any other cafe, but not this one!! Respect for the client is NOT the principle of this establishment!!!!

27/08/2024: I stopped by today in the afternoon around 4 p.m., with my 2 children, the young blonde lady was super nice to my children, she is very welcoming, smiling, polite, even my son said to me “Mom The girl is nice, she made me a granita, like a grown-up, can I give her a kiss? » I told him that a simple “Thank you Madam was enough”.
We had a snack on the terrace, it was very pleasant, I recommend and I would like to point out that the saleswoman was very pleasant, and during our snack, she did not stop working in this heat.
She has courage, BRAVO!
I would come back and recommend to my friends!

24/07/2024: We heard about this place and read about the large portions of quality food for a reasonable price. We were left extremely disappointed by this as the portion size for 23.50 euro each was in our opinion not sufficient, apparently it used to be 17 euro each and maybe then this would be acceptable but in our opinion it was a small meal and we got a full rotisserie chicken from the butcher on the way home to fill us up. You choose your meat and are then given a choice of a side dish, either mash potato, baked potato, salad or ratatouille. In our opinion for 23.50 euro per person you should be given a choice of one side of potato as well as one side of salad or ratatouille to provide more of an overall meal. We had the wine which was nice and the lady serving us was very friendly however we walked away feeling very unsatisfied with what we ate and what we paid from a restaurant we were very much looking forward to visiting.
18/07/2024: Nous avons apprécié la rapidité du service et la qualité du rôti de bœuf qui était d’une tendresse à vous caresser le palais. De plus, les accompagnements maisons sont un délice, nous vous recommandons les pommes de terres et la purée. Enfin, le patron et cuisinier de talent de cette adresse unique est très sympathique.

05/09/2024: Wasn't going to eat here, a menu for 11€50, disgusting and ridiculous little frozen fries, a double cheese which is really annoying with 2 very fine frozen steaks from Lidl, only the zero coke which was good lol, the armored atmosphere of high school and college students with zero IQ and who bawl like idiots, in short to flee

For the menu you took €11.50, it's not expensive.
The better you eat, it will cost you less

I correct you, young people come there just to find themselves in their midday rest, and you would know if young people, raised on industrial junk food, had any taste lol.
For your menu at 11.50€, with a pseudo double cheese smashed on the ground, I prefer 100 times a big mac menu at 9.50€, get out of your denial of reality.
And actually, even if I'm not a restaurateur, I cook better than you without forcing.
And don't worry, even if they pay me, I won't come back to eat at your bouiboui.

30/06/2024: Quel plaisir rare de découvrir un restaurant aussi parfait en altitude ! L'Essentiel porte bien son nom, offrant une expérience culinaire véritablement exceptionnelle. Les saveurs délicates et raffinées de chaque plat enchantent les papilles et démontrent un savoir-faire remarquable. L'atmosphère chaleureuse et le service impeccable complètent cette expérience gastronomique inoubliable. Un véritable joyau à ne pas manquer pour tous les amateurs de bonne cuisine !
