06/08/2026: I had to give one star because I don't know how to give less. I was seated inside at lunchtime and waited 15 minutes before leaving with my wife, who had just arrived. The table was wobbly and sticky, and the cutlery and glasses were dirty. The floor hadn't been cleaned or even brushed before service. When we left, we announced our departure, but the staff completely ignored us. RUN AWAY!

03/07/2026: Excellent place! The food is delicious. I had Portuguese chicken to take away, which was excellent.

01/07/2026: The good was ok not very special the chickdn piri piri. ( we asked the spicy sauce ) but this was not Spicy at all. The veer was extremely good. Alltogether we Will not go back.

04/08/2026: A warm welcome, the dining room is spotless and beautifully decorated, there's a good selection on the menu, the red meat is of good quality, and the desserts are excellent. In summer, or whenever the weather is nice, the terrace is very pleasant.

03/08/2026: We've been going to this restaurant for years. For a reasonable price, we're never disappointed. The salmon carpaccio is excellent. The menu is updated annually. The staff is very friendly.

14/08/2026: The restaurant was decent, no problems with the service. However, it wasn't exceptional either. The mussels were quite good, but the burger was rather average. It was also a shame to have pre-packaged fries, especially considering we're in the North. The dessert was simple, but not bad.

09/08/2026: Avoid this restaurant. We waited an hour. The cleanliness was questionable. Not a word of apology, and the servers could at least have warned us about the wait time. We left without eating. It was the first and last time.

21/08/2026: We were passing through Marvejols and found this place online, so we tried it and it was great. The staff were very responsive and friendly, the food was served quickly and was delicious, all for a very reasonable price. The total bill was less than 50 euros for three people, including drinks and dessert. A superb place, thank you for your kindness.

20/08/2026: We received a warm welcome in the simple, intimate dining room. It was quiet, so it was easy to chat. The children's pizza was very generous! Thin crust, quality ingredients. A real treat. Friendly staff.

14/08/2026: A great place to eat. Delicious food, a delicious hamburger with fresh steak, cooked rare just the way I like it, and the pork loin was superb. Warm welcome, fast service. In short, we highly recommend it.

13/08/2026: The service and atmosphere were generally friendly. The menu offers a lot of choices, perhaps even a few too many, which, in my opinion, makes the restaurant lack a real identity. I certainly didn't choose the best dish, but I was quite disappointed by the pizza. The crust was very dry, and overall, it was really not very good. I think other dishes on the menu would probably have been better options. The fact that it's a chain might also affect the quality of the food. With such a large menu and so many different dishes, it seems difficult to offer consistent quality across the board. An okay experience overall, but rather mixed in terms of the food.

27/08/2026: Hello, I'm leaving a review so others don't throw their money away. We ordered two set menus at €33 each: starter, main course, and dessert, accompanied by a 1L bottle of Vittel water for €5.90 and an extra 40 cents each for mint. The bill should have been €72.70, but we were charged €74! Probably because my brother ordered mayonnaise. The wait was interminable, even though we were the first ones there. Regular customers were served before us, even though they arrived more than 15 minutes after us. If it had just been for the starter, it would have been fine, but it was the whole meal. The wait between courses was at least 30 minutes. The owner was completely unfriendly while serving us. And she blamed our being overlooked on her regular customers, with whom she was very pleasant. Let's not even talk about the meal. The plates were practically empty, with tiny pieces of salad, two radish slices, one cucumber slice, no sauce, and the presentation was nonexistent. My brother ordered cheese instead of dessert, which was just a pile of rabbit salad with nothing else on it, thrown together haphazardly. The main course consisted of two small pieces of meat, barely scraping by, served with homemade fries with the skin on—a portion fit for a five-year-old. The wait for the sauce was also 30 minutes. We were completely ignored throughout the meal, but hey, we didn't come here to be liked, we came to eat well. The only positive points were the view and the open air, and my dessert, which was artisanal ice cream, but again, it was the same story: they forgot about us for 20-25 minutes while others who arrived much later already had their ice cream (the bottom scoop had already melted). Whether it's my brother or me, we feel the same way and we won't be going back, except maybe for ice cream to share a moment together in the cool evening air! And I haven't even said everything, because otherwise it would have taken me over an hour to write! Try this restaurant and your wallet will cry. At worst, order a burger and fries, which seemed more substantial than what I had on my plate. I don't eat much to begin with, and frankly, when I left, I felt like I'd barely eaten anything, SHAMEFUL. Arrived at 7:05 PM, left after 9:10 PM for a 3-course meal, seriously?!

21/08/2026: A rather mixed experience at Chalet du Lac. The food was good, but nothing exceptional. I had ordered rare meat, but it arrived very rare, which was disappointing. The "café gourmand" (a selection of small desserts served with coffee) didn't really enhance the meal: a quarter of a waffle broken into pieces and a rather dry cake… One expects something a bit more elaborate for a "café gourmand." In short, it wasn't bad, but I wasn't truly impressed by the experience. A shame.

19/08/2026: The welcome was perfect! But the service was just okay! The waiter who forgot dishes and didn't understand the order was disappointing! Otherwise, the food was good, although a little pricey; the prices have definitely gone up! But it had been a really long time since I'd been there!

15/08/2026: A superb experience at Buffalo Grill in Cebazat. We were greeted with smiles and kindness by the waitstaff. The food was cooked perfectly and the service was impeccable. I highly recommend it for a birthday or family celebration.

09/06/2026: Nothing exceptional, good but nothing special. A bit cheaper than the competition. The waitress was very nice, but I found it regrettable that she refused to let me sit on a booth (even though I explained that I had back problems), because she "couldn't afford it at that time," as if she had a lot of reservations. In fact, there was practically no one in the restaurant that evening.

29/05/2026: Awful!!! Eating on the terrace—if you can even call it a terrace!!!—looks more like a garbage dump all around!! And to top it off, an employee was cleaning a freezer in a trailer with bleach, just 3 meters from our plates!! And to make matters worse, a cook came out of the kitchen in a pitiful state, his shirt and pants filthy!!! I'm really disappointed because we've been customers for over 6 years, and also at the bodega in the Mondeville 2 area, since they're owned by the same people. Personally, I'll never go back to either restaurant!
