06/09/2026: Well, it's a nice spot, in the shade with a bit of a breeze. The prices are reasonable, I think. The salads are generous and quite elaborate. The sausage in the daily special is also very good. With an aperitif, it comes to €20 per person. However, it's hard to get a table; we were lucky, otherwise it's best to book.

11/06/2026: June 2026. If it ain't broke, don't fix it: delighted to have found the same friendly atmosphere almost a year later. On Monday, market day in Romilly, I enjoyed some incredibly fresh produce: kidneys and strawberries. Everything was cooked with the same generosity as always. Thank you! September 2025. Happy to return to this brasserie for a casual lunch prepared by the owner. A set menu on the chalkboard, starter, main course, and dessert (goat cheese tartine with honey, skate wing or Caesar salad, apricot cake) for €18.50. Simple, tasty, and hearty in the friendly atmosphere of a provincial town brasserie. Frankly, it's delightful. See you next time, no doubt 😉 October 2024: Three years after my first visit, and I find the same warm atmosphere. Dishes are chosen from the chalkboard menu. Since it was Saturday, market day, I enjoyed the black pudding prepared by the local butcher: very good. And the floating island for dessert was pure bliss. I'll definitely go back. August 2021: Well, it's obviously not a Michelin-starred restaurant, but I really liked the provincial bistro atmosphere run by the owners who serve the customers and offer simple but good "home-style" dishes. Friendly, unpretentious, but simply kind service. I really enjoyed the ravioli with Chaource cheese. It's much better than a soulless fast-food joint.

25/08/2026: I ate here for the first time; the fries are excellent, and the cheese naan kebab is even better. All that for €9.50! I highly recommend it. Plus, the staff is very friendly.

27/08/2026: Hello, I'm leaving a review so others don't throw their money away. We ordered two set menus at €33 each: starter, main course, and dessert, accompanied by a 1L bottle of Vittel water for €5.90 and an extra 40 cents each for mint. The bill should have been €72.70, but we were charged €74! Probably because my brother ordered mayonnaise. The wait was interminable, even though we were the first ones there. Regular customers were served before us, even though they arrived more than 15 minutes after us. If it had just been for the starter, it would have been fine, but it was the whole meal. The wait between courses was at least 30 minutes. The owner was completely unfriendly while serving us. And she blamed our being overlooked on her regular customers, with whom she was very pleasant. Let's not even talk about the meal. The plates were practically empty, with tiny pieces of salad, two radish slices, one cucumber slice, no sauce, and the presentation was nonexistent. My brother ordered cheese instead of dessert, which was just a pile of rabbit salad with nothing else on it, thrown together haphazardly. The main course consisted of two small pieces of meat, barely scraping by, served with homemade fries with the skin on—a portion fit for a five-year-old. The wait for the sauce was also 30 minutes. We were completely ignored throughout the meal, but hey, we didn't come here to be liked, we came to eat well. The only positive points were the view and the open air, and my dessert, which was artisanal ice cream, but again, it was the same story: they forgot about us for 20-25 minutes while others who arrived much later already had their ice cream (the bottom scoop had already melted). Whether it's my brother or me, we feel the same way and we won't be going back, except maybe for ice cream to share a moment together in the cool evening air! And I haven't even said everything, because otherwise it would have taken me over an hour to write! Try this restaurant and your wallet will cry. At worst, order a burger and fries, which seemed more substantial than what I had on my plate. I don't eat much to begin with, and frankly, when I left, I felt like I'd barely eaten anything, SHAMEFUL. Arrived at 7:05 PM, left after 9:10 PM for a 3-course meal, seriously?!

21/08/2026: A rather mixed experience at Chalet du Lac. The food was good, but nothing exceptional. I had ordered rare meat, but it arrived very rare, which was disappointing. The "café gourmand" (a selection of small desserts served with coffee) didn't really enhance the meal: a quarter of a waffle broken into pieces and a rather dry cake… One expects something a bit more elaborate for a "café gourmand." In short, it wasn't bad, but I wasn't truly impressed by the experience. A shame.

26/08/2026: We arrived at 1 p.m. and ordered a duck breast and a ribeye steak. The steak was cooked well, but the quality of the ribeye was poor, full of gristle. The presentation of the dessert left much to be desired. They could do better. The price was a bit high.

22/08/2026: A warm welcome even arriving at 1:45 pm on a Saturday, refined cuisine, a very pleasant terrace, smiling and helpful staff, good quality wines, a charming place, I recommend it without hesitation and...with your taste buds open!

22/09/2026: A place we used to go to (at least once every two weeks), and the last service convinced us never to return. We arrived and asked for a table by the window if possible, and then the waiter who came up behind us (and who seemed to be struggling to hold his tray with two drinks on it) said loudly, "Come on, move along, clear the way." We'd only been there for a minute. I mentioned it to the owner, who apologized profusely, and then they brought us the menus. The menus were dirty inside, with sauce on them... In short, we hesitated to leave right then and there, but we ate and decided never to come back.

04/09/2026: If you have children, the condition of the high chair and booster seat is appalling, and at the slightest noise, all the tables turn around, including the servers, and make comments. I do not recommend this restaurant for families.

18/07/2026: I had a great experience with warm welcome and good spot. The camping places are well separated and the pool area is good. Really close to Calvi to visit. Family friendly place with very clean facilities. I would go back.

30/06/2026: Great location relative to the beach and the center. Really large pitches with reasonable shade. It's a shame that tents aren't separated from the campers, resulting in air conditioning noise at night: A minus point! Sanitary facilities very clean. And toilet paper is even provided. The swimming pool is fun for children, but not for adults.

05/09/2026: A very good experience at Hippopotamus! The restaurant is pleasant, the atmosphere is friendly, and the food was delicious. The staff is smiling and professional. Special mention to Saënz, who was very welcoming, friendly, and attentive throughout the meal. A pleasant person, attentive, and who truly takes the time to look after customers well. Thank you for this lovely time, I will gladly return!

28/06/2026: Avoid this restaurant! I ordered a crispy chicken naan burger for lunch today, and this is what I got: completely dry! Where were the salad greens? (The lettuce, onions, tomatoes!) And when you call them to ask, they pretend they don't understand anything!

31/07/2026: I've been a regular customer for years; the price/quality ratio is good, and the welcome is always warm and pleasant. A few drawbacks: unpleasant sewer smells (sink, toilet?), sometimes unreliable Wi-Fi connection, and poor reception of digital terrestrial television channels.

30/07/2026: We had a wonderful time enjoying our stay at the Olydia Neptune, which is well-located and has a lovely sea view. It's conveniently located near everything. The rooms are comfortable, with all the necessary amenities, and spotlessly clean. We also want to thank the receptionist, Patricia, whose ever-present smile and kindness never left her face.
