18/07/2026: I had high expectations with Beefbar from friends who have been there. I’m upset at the experience I received tonight. It was nothing like what my friends shared. The service was awful. Our waitress seemed angry with us, just for showing up to the restaurant. Never asked if we wanted another drink or water, seemed annoyed when we ordered our mains. She actively ignored our table for most of the night. My father asked for Johnnie Walker blue label and was served the incorrect drink. When we asked for a correction, they claimed he was served the correct drink but when they brought a new glass it was the correct one! My medium rare steak was overcooked. The appetizers were great. My $600 bill could have been more if the server cared about our table. We came for dinner time and was the first entry at 7:30, so it’s not like the restaurant was packed or busy. Overall I would never recommend BeefBar to anyone ever. There are plenty of other places in the city that offer great food. What a disappointment.

18/07/2026: Vastly disappointed in our experience. We were sat & then not spoken to for approximately 20 minutes. The gyoza & artichoke starters were fine which set us up for our meal. The Kobe beef carbonara was so bad it was inedible & my husbands 300g filet came charred and overcooked. We would have liked to add a sauce or even have it suggested when ordering but did not get checked on for the 30+ minutes we had our food despite multiple servers standing in the main room. Thankfully our server then finally noticed & kindly took the carbonara off the bill. Overall the service & underwhelming food was a waste of a meal in our 4 day trip to Paris.

09/06/2026: Nothing exceptional, good but nothing special. A bit cheaper than the competition. The waitress was very nice, but I found it regrettable that she refused to let me sit on a booth (even though I explained that I had back problems), because she "couldn't afford it at that time," as if she had a lot of reservations. In fact, there was practically no one in the restaurant that evening.

29/05/2026: Awful!!! Eating on the terrace—if you can even call it a terrace!!!—looks more like a garbage dump all around!! And to top it off, an employee was cleaning a freezer in a trailer with bleach, just 3 meters from our plates!! And to make matters worse, a cook came out of the kitchen in a pitiful state, his shirt and pants filthy!!! I'm really disappointed because we've been customers for over 6 years, and also at the bodega in the Mondeville 2 area, since they're owned by the same people. Personally, I'll never go back to either restaurant!
