09/11/2024: Superior quality without high prices. A really very good culinary experience. There were snails, duck liver pate, zander, duck breast and, for dessert, panna cotta with orange and chocolate and crème brulee with caramel ice cream. Everything in great quality and an excellent taste experience. The service was super attentive and really nice. We can only recommend this restaurant.

03/12/2024: Pasamos unos días en Estrasburgo y probamos varios winstubs. Entre ellos, la Vieille enseigne era el favorito de todos. Puede que no tenga el encanto de Winstubs más viejos pero cuando se trata de la comida, absolutamente lo aplasta. Su choucroute fue de lejos el mejor que tuvimos y también lo fue su tarte a l oignon. Los camareros están muy ocupados pero disfrutan conectando con personas que están interesadas en su región: uno de ellos nos hizo descubrir el más increíble eaux de vie (aguardiente de frutas) Si yo fuera un lugareño, esto se convertiría en mi lugar para comer deliciosa comida local!

05/12/2024: My family and I went to eat in this restaurant located in Krutenau. Very nice discovery, from the wine list to the fine dishes, everything was perfect. Freshness, friendliness, all in a warm and modern setting.

09/07/2025: I used to come here often, even before its renovation—which took away its special charm, by the way. Last time, I asked for a coffee and an empty glass with ice cubes: the idea is to pour the coffee over the ice cubes (like they do in the south of France or Spain). I felt like I was asking for a luxury product, ice cubes! The only response: "three ice cubes, no more." Okay, I'll take note...

04/07/2025: Very, very tasty and good food. Very, very clean.

20/09/2024: Lunch in the cellar and not upstairs. Good food, nice place. Alsace wine from very good local winegrowers. Long wait for the aperitif. Arrived at 12 p.m., served at 12:45 p.m.... Only small downside. Everything else about the meal was impeccable. We will come back to this.

16/09/2024: Lunch on a Sunday; the service was a little disrupted by the fact that all the guests arrived at exactly the same time. Absolutely delicious tuna tataki and herring tartare. The saltimbocca (revisited) were just as successful. To recommend

Pâtés lorrain, excellent, feuilletage, mes farce, fade et sèche. Les produits ne valent largement pas le prix demandé
