05/01/2025: While visiting this beautiful and magical town, I searched for a restaurant to eat at, but unfortunately, most were closed. Everything changed when I found Restaurant Istanbul. Not only was it open, but it also offered a warm welcome and excellent service. The food was delicious, with generous portions, great flavor, and a reasonable price. Absolutely recommendable!

04/12/2024: Después de caminar pasando el día explorando los 12 Mercados de Navidad de Estrasburgo, fue un placer sentarse y disfrutar de una cena Kosher a las afueras del centro de la ciudad. El personal era amable y atento sin ser exagerado y la comida era excelente. Nuestro único problema era elegir qué comer! Estando en Alsacia, sabíamos que pediríamos una especialidad regional, Tartes Flambe (Flamkuchen). ¿Pero cuál conseguir? ¿El Natural cubierto con crema y cebolla? ¿Con queso? ¿Setas? ¿Queso azul? ¿Queso de cabra, miel y nueces? ¿Salmón? 4 ¿Mezcla de quesos? Fuimos con queso de cabra, miel y nuez moscada. Fue una de las cosas más deliciosas que he comido y se acompañó aún mejor con un vino blanco local. También pedimos un gratinado de patatas en rodajas finas al lado y tuvimos crema crujiente de postre. Nos fuimos decepcionados de que estábamos solo en la ciudad por una noche y no tendríamos la oportunidad de volver a probar la comida de nuevo.

22/06/2025: I hadn't been to this establishment for over 10 years... and one Saturday morning, I wanted to sit down and have a simple long coffee with a glass of water... a decent welcome from the server, but then, what shocked me the most was the price of the long coffee: €3.20... And then they tell me that American chains are expensive... an espresso with water added... €3.20... I had to wait a good 15 minutes afterward to be billed... the server was preoccupied chatting with regulars on his chair and at their tables... I had to get up and politely ask for the bill. I asked to pay by credit card, and he kindly told me that he only accepts cards for amounts over €10. I asked in the same tone if the information was posted at the entrance or at the checkout, and he replied: "Well, yes, it's a €10 minimum for all credit card payments…" so he didn't answer my question, and the display wasn't in order. He still accepted my credit card payment, having not anticipated any change since there was no display indicating this. I left with a bitter taste and slightly disappointed by this experience. Update to my comment 06/22/25: On the Legifrance website, it is clearly stated that the minimum payment accepted by credit card must be displayed. This display wasn't there in your establishment when I visited, so you can't impose this without complying with the regulations. It doesn't work à la carte the way you want it to. You mention bank fees. I was a merchant for three years and I experienced this situation. These fees should be negotiated with your banker to reduce them. FYI: Refusing to pay for a contactless payment of less than €10 will cause you to lose a certain number of customers... When I came, I asked for a long coffee, not a large coffee. So you charged me more for my coffee and served me something other than what I initially requested. At that point, the merchant must inform that they do not offer long coffee so that the customer can choose another product. Thank you.

15/12/2024: Pedimos el plato especial y estaba muy bueno. Acompañado cin ensalada, patatas, y verduras en salsa. Los camareros son atentos y amables. Teniamos reserva a las 13:30h y al llegar ya teniamos la mesa lista.

09/12/2024: Aucune fausse note comme à l'habitude. L'onglet à l'échalote était parfait. Amateur de Bas Armagnac, il y a là-bas de très belles années à la carte.

11/11/2025: I highly recommend this place. The welcome was warm, the wait time was reasonable, and the pizza was very good. We will be back.

24/10/2025: Friendly welcome, fast service (a little too fast, even) Decent prices, but the pizzas we chose weren't to our taste.
