The dry-aged beef was excellent, the homemade fries were delicious, and even the homemade mayonnaise was exceptional!
And a special mention for the apricot-basil sorbet 😍

31/05/2026: This restaurant deserves ZERO STARS. We arrived at 12:15 for aperitif service, and were presented with a Mother's Day menu, a menu, and a chalkboard. However, after a 1 hour and 15 minute wait, with our order still untaken and the owner and waiter making completely unprofessional remarks, we decided to leave this truly awful place (waitresses, change careers if your job bothers you so much). There are many other restaurants that are much more organized than this one.

31/05/2026: We stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant by chance. It's a bit off the beaten tourist track. The owner is very welcoming, and the food is authentic Alsatian. The tarte flambée is divine – crispy and generously topped. The price is absolutely reasonable. We'll definitely be back. Thanks again for the tip about the charming half-timbered villages. We visited them.

23/10/2025: Excellent stay at the Logis Hôtel du Herrenstein! Very comfortable and spotless room, delicious dinner and a top-notch breakfast with fresh fruit salad and a lovely sweet and savory selection. Very friendly and professional staff, and super convenient parking. I highly recommend it!
20/10/2025: We spent a weekend night there. The welcome was very warm. Our room was clean and relatively large, although perhaps a little dated, but it fit in with the setting. The view from the room is simple but pleasant; I think at this time of year we were almost the only guests.
I particularly recommend the restaurant, which is very beautiful and where we ate very well for a reasonable price.

30/10/2025: Swoob Catering has catered four family celebrations (between 30 and 60 people) in recent years. They contributed to their success through the quality of their products, the variety of their dishes, and the professionalism of their entire team.
I highly recommend them!
10/10/2025: I came to buy some very good quality yellow chicken, despite the relatively high price, it was excellent.
However, I asked for very thinly sliced ham. When I got home, the ham was cut at least 3 meters thick. It was almost impossible to make cordon bleus with it, and cutting it so thick really didn't taste good.
I also had a piece of onion tart; it was good but extremely salty.

19/05/2026: Three mistakes in our orders, a Caesar salad made with frisée instead of romaine lettuce, a sauce that seemed to come from a bottle and not homemade... and to top it all off, a very noisy room.

04/05/2026: We took advantage of the long weekend to eat a matelotte at the small inn....as always the friendliness of the staff, the hearty and delicious meal were there.

07/06/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant during our tour of Alsace. The staff were friendly, some of them even speaking German. The atmosphere was lovely. The food—we had tarte flambée and Caesar salad—was absolutely delicious!
The price-performance ratio was also good.
We'd gladly return and highly recommend it.

16/05/2026: We've been going to this restaurant for 15 years and it's always a real pleasure. The owners are lovely and welcoming, the dishes are generous and very tasty. Even the takeaway Chinese hot pot is a real treat! Quality ingredients, generous portions, and delicious flavors. A place we highly recommend!
