31/08/2026: Excellent food, unfortunately, much less warm service. We had lunch at Windhof this Friday, a party of five, and as far as the food was concerned, there was very little to criticize: the dishes were delicious, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. We genuinely enjoyed the cuisine, and it deserves to be highlighted. However, the welcome and service left us with a much more mixed impression. Few smiles, little interaction, no real effort to make the guests feel comfortable, and a very professional but rather rushed service. Nothing inherently wrong, but a coldness quite unusual in a restaurant of this caliber, which unfortunately contrasts sharply with the quality of the food. Towards the end of the meal, the atmosphere thankfully relaxed, and the service became a little more pleasant. Perhaps the waitress simply became more at ease as the meal progressed. Another point to note: if the entire table doesn't choose the set menu, everyone must then order à la carte. This rule is clearly stated on the restaurant's website and upon entering, so there were no unpleasant surprises in this regard, but it remains rather unusual and, for me, difficult to understand. Two of us ordered a main course and dessert, one ordered just a main course. The remaining two recreated the entire menu from the à la carte menu, which cost them about twelve euros more than the set menu, around €62 instead of €49. What justifies this €23 or €24 surcharge? Was it the portion sizes, the efficiency of the service...? In the end, a very enjoyable dining experience, but the welcome could have been warmer. It's a shame, because with more friendly and attentive service, our opinion would have been quite different. I don't wish to recommend this restaurant at the moment; perhaps I'll try another place.

10/09/2026: We had dinner on September 9th. The experience was good but excessively expensive. Everything was fine, but it didn't live up to the price. Extremely expensive for what it was.

28/08/2026: A mixed bag after a year of new ownership. The food is excellent: the dishes are good, fresh, and beautifully presented, and the waitress's service is impeccable. Unfortunately, the owner's attitude spoils the experience: a very long wait to order, a nonchalant demeanor, and inappropriate attire (leggings and sneakers) for a Saturday night in this setting. The overall quality of service suffers as a result.

30/08/2026: I stumbled upon this place completely by chance online, but what a find! 🙂 The best Lebanese restaurant I've ever tried, without a doubt! The atmosphere is calm, the terrace is very large and perfectly positioned to catch the sunset, and the menu offers a good variety without being overwhelming. The service is impeccable, a genuine desire to please, it's so lovely. As for the food... I ordered a mezze platter with iced lemon-ginger tea. The woman, whom I believe to be the owner, told me she makes it herself. Amazing, it was delicious! 🙂 The gentleman who was preparing it, whom I assume to be her husband, was so unassuming and reserved when I thanked him and told him everything was excellent. The humility of those who cook to share. Thank you for this meal! 🙏

07/06/2026: Quite frankly, A fantastic experience. A superb meal, fragrant, fresh, delicious, and generous. The rosé wine is divine; give it a try. We were a party of 10 people of different ages, and everyone enjoyed the meal. The owner is incredibly friendly and creates a great atmosphere. The quality and quantity of the food were excellent. The price was very reasonable. They also accept holiday vouchers. The restaurant is clean, the table is beautifully set, and the restrooms are clean. The service was prompt and efficient. 04/08/2026: A charming restaurant nestled in the small village of Schnersheim in the Kockersberg region. There's parking in front of the restaurant as well as a small parking lot outside. It features a small outdoor terrace and a large, air-conditioned dining room inside. The menu offers a lovely mix of Alsatian specialties and other dishes. The service is friendly and welcoming. The tarte flambée was excellent, generously topped with a perfectly crisp crust. The carpaccio and Caesar salad were also superb, with the carpaccio perfectly seasoned. The desserts were equally delightful. A great place to spend a pleasant evening.

28/05/2026: My wife and I opted for the 'Piece de Boucher'. We had the chance to try both sauces served alongside it, and both added a wonderful touch to the flavor of the meat. The quality of the meat was excellent, and it was a very filling dish, served with fries and salad. We definitely recommend it!
