12/06/2026: We spent a weekend there as a couple. What a shame! There was no kettle or coffee maker in the room... No slippers for the spa or tea corner. We didn't like being seated next to other people in the restaurant, even though there are several dining rooms... it lacked a cozy atmosphere. The meal wasn't exceptional, even though there were four courses for the price we paid. Outside, there was no space by the pool; all the lounge chairs were occupied by towels, but no one was sitting there! To top it all off, we were charged for drinks we didn't order... What a shame for such a beautiful establishment! We don't recommend this hotel...

10/06/2026: What a place to turn 40. 🎂 We spent three nights at Hostellerie des Châteaux on half-board for my birthday and left genuinely happy. The location on the Alsace Wine Route, at the foot of the Vosges, is beautiful, and the property's 2,500m² spa with its pools and saunas gives you plenty of reasons not to leave. The restaurant is the star. ⭐ Each dinner opened with an amuse-bouche, the courses built with real intention, and on our final evening the kitchen surprised us with an unprompted foie gras pâté and a full cheese course. The sommelier deserves his own mention: deep knowledge of Alsace wines, recommendations tailored to our table across all three evenings, and the single biggest reason the dinners will stay with us. 🍷 Breakfast matched the standard: a fresh juicing station, egg station, proper pastries and well-chosen local cheeses. The half-board is worth it. We also slept very well. Some honest improvement notes for this lovely family-run property to take it to 5 stars: - the rooms haven't kept pace with the public areas and the website imagery (and the artificial grass roof, not really nice to look at from the window.. why? 😄) - the pool was way too crowded and the website image shows much less recliner seats when the area was rather cramped at times especially on the weekend. - tea/coffee facilities and individual toiletries in the rooms would lift the experience (they only have a body wash in the shower - an opportunity to improve) - menus in English/German and dietary alternatives (vegetarians etc) would serve the international guests better - the pool bar closing at 18:00 on a warm summer evening, feels way too early but I saw the staff had to rush to the lobby bar (perhaps hire more?) - strength training options would complete the gym which currently has cardio only. - tvs didn’t have any working English channels and the ability to cast to the TV wasn’t properly advertised, perhaps add a proper TV smart guide? None of this took away from a wonderful stay and a birthday to remember. Thank you to the whole team, and especially the restaurant and bar team. 27/09/2026: Passing through Strasbourg, we went to eat at the crêperie "Le Moulin du Diable." A small, charming crêperie. It's best to book in advance to guarantee a table. We received a very warm welcome from Jade. The service is quite fast. Pleasant atmosphere. The savory buckwheat crêpe with mushrooms in cream sauce is delicious. The cream isn't just on the menu; it's definitely present in the dish and in the mouth. To finish, we had a sweet lemon crêpe. The crêpe was soft and fluffy. That day, there wasn't enough lemon on the crêpe. It would have needed just half a spoonful or a spoonful of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Welcome 5/5 Atmosphere 5/5 Food 4.5/5: not enough lemon on the dessert crêpe In short, if we have the opportunity (we live 700 km away), we will definitely return to eat at this crêperie.

17/09/2026: A wide selection of pizzas is available. They are excellent, and order times are respected. I will return to this establishment when I am in the Geispolsheim area.

04/09/2026: We were greeted with a smile and received excellent advice for our first visit! We recommend the taco kit and the tasting platter. The homemade hibiscus drink was delicious, as were the cheesecake and homemade guacamole! It's packed at lunchtime (but the fantastic team is still very attentive), so perhaps you'd prefer to eat on the terrace in the evening!

An Alsatian atmosphere that perfectly represents our beautiful region, with a terrace shaded by a magnificent vine, very friendly and attentive service, and a delicious meal—not too much, not too little, just right! 27/08/2026: We came to Obernai for the first time. We booked a table at the restaurant Les Remparts and received a very warm welcome. Our waitress was lovely! Above all, we had a delicious meal. Excellent value for money. I recommend to future visitors: stop by Les Remparts! You won't be disappointed!

14/09/2026: We went there for breakfast and had the brunch. The bagel with cheese, ham, and sauce was extremely greasy (which one might have expected), and the accompanying charcuterie was quite disappointing... so for us, it was simply unhealthy and overpriced. However, the service was very attentive and quick!

From the brilliant organization of the entire event by Anne and her team, to the execution on the day itself, everything was perfect! Our guests had a wonderful time, and the decorations (springlike during our visit) were magical! The greenery, the decor, the lighting, even the ambiance of the rooms—everything is there to ensure you have a truly wonderful experience! Thank you again for the warm welcome and flawless support!

08/05/2026: A huge thank you to Anne and her entire team. We had an unforgettable wedding in a magical setting. Anne guided us through every step of the preparations. On the big day, we had a wonderful evening, thanks to Chef Guillaume for the meal, and the following day we finished with a magnificent brunch. Not to mention the beautiful rooms where we stayed. In short, everything was perfect.

25/01/2026: We ate at Le Sauloch for the first time this past Saturday evening and we'll definitely be back! We were served quickly by two very friendly waiters, and the food was delicious and beautifully presented! The setting is lovely, all wood with a large fireplace in the center, and the decor is very tasteful! There's an outdoor terrace where it must be lovely to eat in the summer. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

The asparagus, like everything else at Restaurant à l'Aigle, is perfect; it's pure quality. What can you say? The Aigle's superior quality comes from experience... over several generations... from Colbert-style management... from a top-notch leadership team and waiters and waitresses of immense efficiency, professionalism, and kindness... In short, when you're at Restaurant à l'Aigle, you're at the pinnacle of quality. I even propose creating a fourth Michelin star for this exceptional restaurant... I mean it... Restaurant Aigle, I adore you, we adore you, everyone adores you... You are the absolute benchmark. Bravo and thank you, thank you for all these hours spent in your company; it's pure bliss... 08/05/2026: What a warm welcome and what a wonderful discovery! For our daughter's birthday, we discovered this little gem of peace and joy at Katiolo. We opted for the tasting menu, and I wholeheartedly recommend it. There were six of us, and we thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful Ivorian cuisine (which I hadn't experienced before), simple yet incredibly flavorful, made with quality ingredients. Experience it for yourself! Furthermore, the warm welcome and impeccable service from Geneviève will enchant you, I'm sure of it. A must-try!
