08/12/2025: I am so happy my wife found this place. It is the perfect retreat from the madness of the Christmas markets in Strasbourg and surrounds. You can escape to this quiet village and have a fabulous meal, served by a very friendly and attentive staff. I would come back here in a heartbeat.

Good, even excellent, refined; the exceptional quality lies in the details, making it perfect. The staff perfectly embodies the restaurant's character. 30/12/2025: Cold accommodation, a towel warmer in the living room that wasn't very effective for heating. The ski slope was terrible, lots of black ice. No toboggan run. Not much to do in the area. La Norma is better for skiing. And look closely at the wooden chairs; my wife fell backward and they came loose.

12/11/2025: This is a place you absolutely mustn't miss. Here, you'll find wines that go beyond the usual fare and standard fare. The welcome is professional, personal, and warm. A far cry from restaurants where the service is inexperienced and impersonal. The food is excellent. The cheese trolley is a must (you won't find one anywhere else). It's truly superb!

20/12/2025: The food is decent but nothing special. There's limited choice on the €27 lunch menu. The waitress is very friendly. A major problem with this restaurant: it's freezing cold with no heating; I had to keep my clothes on during the meal, which meant the food got cold very quickly. The chalkboard menus aren't ideal, especially for visually impaired people.

07/12/2025: We came with friends to enjoy the evening, but the service and the waitress were a bit off-putting, perhaps with a touch of humor we didn't understand. The menus are very generous and delicious, although I think a little less salad in the appetizers would be great.

21/11/2025: My family and I, including a 5 and 3 year old ate here for lunch. We had an excellent experience. We were promptly greeted and sat for out 1230 lunch reservation. Upon being seated we were offered some small plates and a glass of wine while making selections. Our server Charlie was exceptional. He demonstrated knowledge of the menu and also advised that the chef had prepared a seperate menu for the children. We selected the 4 course menu. Our dining experience was great, would 100% return. I was unsure what to expect taking toddlers to such a nice place but Charlie made the experience great for us and the children.

07/12/2025: We had lunch here with my husband and two children during a visit to Metz. We received a very warm welcome and the waiters were friendly. The menu was varied, and all the products were sourced from local producers. The ribeye steak was the best I've had in a long time in a restaurant—perfectly cooked. The revisited steak tartare was delicious, and the burgers were generous. The desserts are a real highlight, with many homemade options! The tarte Tatin was delicious, and the little pistachio and raspberry financiers were equally delightful. We highly recommend it!

However, we were slightly disappointed by the quality of the dishes, which did not fully justify the prices charged. Despite this, La Rotonde remains a unique experience, offering a timeless moment in one of the most iconic establishments on the Côte d'Azur
