28/03/2026: Another excellent restaurant whose location (along a main road) doesn't hint at just how good the food is. Booked at the last minute on a Saturday at lunchtime, we had a wonderful time at L'Ôtrement.

20/02/2026: Following a recommendation from a fellow walker, we went into this small, simple but welcoming restaurant. We received a very warm welcome; it was quite busy, but we waited patiently. The meal was excellent; we were pleasantly surprised by the food, everything was delicious. I chose a glass of white wine from the Charentes region, which was excellent—a little dry yet also slightly fruity. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are ever in Rochefort. 04/04/2026: Place overall looks nice. Pleasant, with space if you Compare it to surrounding restaurants. Food: Beef Tartare is waste of money. Onion soup ok but lacks flavour. Offered water was added to bill. IF you look for food standard from 2000s it will suite you well. Otherwise i advise to look elsewhere.

08/04/2026: We often come on Wednesday evenings, and the waitress is lovely, always very kind, smiling, and eager to help. The waiter she often works with is just as nice. It's a pleasure to be served by staff who are both highly professional and very friendly. Thank you! 😄

23/04/2026: We came for the first time to try the daily special, which included an all-you-can-eat cold buffet as a starter and a vol-au-vent as the main course, all for €14. We were very satisfied. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick. We'll have to come back to try their famous tarte flambée. And we'll definitely be back for the daily specials!

17/04/2026: I visited the bistro for dinner and had a truly excellent experience. The food was exactly what you would hope for from a high-quality Parisian bistro. I started with escargots, which were perfectly prepared with a rich garlic and herbs accompanied with freshly baked bread. For the main course, I had the beef steak, cooked beautifully and served with a deep, flavorful sauce and classic fries on the side.The highlight of the evening was the baba au rum, which was exceptional. Perfectly soaked, balanced, and accompanied with a light cream. The wine recommendations were also spot on and paired very well with the meal, adding to the overall experience. The atmosphere is relaxed yet refined, and the service was attentive and professional. Overall, a fantastic bistro experience in Paris. Highly recommended, and I would definitely return.

07/12/2025: We had lunch here with my husband and two children during a visit to Metz. We received a very warm welcome and the waiters were friendly. The menu was varied, and all the products were sourced from local producers. The ribeye steak was the best I've had in a long time in a restaurant—perfectly cooked. The revisited steak tartare was delicious, and the burgers were generous. The desserts are a real highlight, with many homemade options! The tarte Tatin was delicious, and the little pistachio and raspberry financiers were equally delightful. We highly recommend it!
