04/06/2026: Very, very disappointed with this restaurant. The aperitif and hors d'oeuvres were well served. However, we waited an hour for the main course (and the meat was swimming in oil), which was unappetizing. Regarding the wait, the waiter criticized us for having ordered an hors d'oeuvre, claiming that those ordering the main course should have priority. For us, that was it.

17/05/2026: The Garden of Giants is a magnificent haven of peace, somewhat hidden just behind the Lille-Europe train station. A superb and relaxing place that is truly worth a visit!

13/05/2026: An unusual garden in Euralille, primarily based around water and wetland plants, with fish and a terrapin! Also a lot of giant bamboo, a couple of large frames supporting wisteria and other climbers and a couple of large topiary heads. Very enjoyable, though not large and the surrounding roads detract a bit from getting there!

16/07/2026: A discovery. A moment of perfection. From the cocktail (Italicus Spritz) to the simple yet indulgent dessert: a duo of strawberry and white chocolate, cherry and dark chocolate... not forgetting the extraordinary grilled octopus, the likes of which I didn't think possible to find in northern France. Returning several times confirms my conviction: this is a place where you can savor a regularly updated menu, offering one of the best value-for-money ratios in the city. A value rarely seen. We'll be back for lunch to enjoy a full menu.

05/07/2026: We ate well; the dishes were elaborate and delicious. However, there was a major disappointment with my starter. I ordered oysters, and of the six served, two were completely dead and dried out. The others weren't in very good condition either. They shouldn't have been served.

13/06/2026: My husband and I had an excellent meal at Drouant when we were in Paris last month. Mila was an exceptional server. I'm a big fan of sole meunière, and if it's on a menu I order it. The sole meunière was the BEST I had in France. The sommelier was excellent and the rhubarb canola was absolutely fabulous.

14/06/2026: I usually come here for work, and this weekend I was with my family. The rooms are very pleasant and the hotel is beautifully decorated. The staff are very attentive, and a special mention goes to the breakfast buffet, which was very well presented and varied.

07/06/2026: Hotel right in the city center, allowing you to get around everywhere on foot. Excellent welcome 👍 and despite my early arrival, I was given a room without any trouble. The room is very well laid out with a ventilation system that works perfectly (which is rare!). The toilet is in the bathroom, but that's often the case. Large, comfortable bed and perfect layout. The only things missing are a mini-fridge and soap (liquid shower gel is provided). There's a paid public parking lot right next door. A full breakfast is included, but be aware of traffic jams during rush hour…. I recommend it.

The gourmet coffee perfectly complemented this enjoyable moment in this charming square. I recommend this restaurant.

11/07/2026: 123 euros for two… starters and main courses listed as suggestions, but no prices displayed… a shame… a delicious artichoke starter, but at 18 euros, I could have done without it… the dish of the day… a salmon tartare at 24 euros… a price we only discovered when the bill arrived… 🤨 I'll definitely come back because it's very good, but the only slight drawback is the starters and main courses listed as suggestions without prices 🙂‍↕️… we appreciated the service's courage in the heatwave and their attentiveness. A neighbor finishing his construction project slightly spoiled our meal with his angle grinder…

06/06/2026: Charming place, admittedly a bit cramped, good and well-prepared food, pleasant and attentive service, excellent selection and cooking of meat. I had a moment of doubt when booking, as they asked if we expected to finish before the second seating, but given the crowds, that's understandable. Great place!

30/05/2026: A fantastic birthday evening! Cocktails, wine, rib-eye steak, champagne, and dessert (with peas 🤨) – we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you to the whole team.

24/05/2026: Mixed feelings about this restaurant. Some dishes were absolutely excellent! (Leeks as a starter, pike-perch as a main course, and opera cake for dessert) perfectly seasoned and flavorful, with sophisticated tastes. Others, like the duck, were uninteresting and lacked balance. The side dishes, all kinds of purées, were in far too small portions. The pike-perch portion was also much too small! Just three or four bites, and you have to eat slowly to avoid finishing the dish in five minutes... And we're not big eaters.... The so-called "gourmet coffee," even with the small, tasty sweet treats, was anything but gourmet... It was really stingy. We left feeling unsatisfied, both literally and figuratively. The wait between courses was too long. The chilled wine by the glass couldn't wait the 30 minutes before the fish arrived. So, second glass ordered... No amuse-bouche (which can be just a bite, but the thought is appreciated) or even a few peanuts (or anything else) with the aperitif, since the "real" amuse-bouches are extra... 🙄
