14/06/2026: A historic establishment with a well-trained staff. Mael accompanied us during this excellent dinner, as did his sommelier colleague who offered us superb recommendations. A great team.

13/06/2026: My husband and I had an excellent meal at Drouant when we were in Paris last month. Mila was an exceptional server. I'm a big fan of sole meunière, and if it's on a menu I order it. The sole meunière was the BEST I had in France. The sommelier was excellent and the rhubarb canola was absolutely fabulous.

14/06/2026: I usually come here for work, and this weekend I was with my family. The rooms are very pleasant and the hotel is beautifully decorated. The staff are very attentive, and a special mention goes to the breakfast buffet, which was very well presented and varied.

07/06/2026: Hotel right in the city center, allowing you to get around everywhere on foot. Excellent welcome 👍 and despite my early arrival, I was given a room without any trouble. The room is very well laid out with a ventilation system that works perfectly (which is rare!). The toilet is in the bathroom, but that's often the case. Large, comfortable bed and perfect layout. The only things missing are a mini-fridge and soap (liquid shower gel is provided). There's a paid public parking lot right next door. A full breakfast is included, but be aware of traffic jams during rush hour…. I recommend it.

04/05/2026: A sure thing! Always excellent, the servers are friendly, and you really feel relaxed in this restaurant. No complaints about the meal; everything was truly delicious from start to finish. A quick message for the head waiter: Do three fish bones mean a star is deducted? 😉

30/05/2026: A fantastic birthday evening! Cocktails, wine, rib-eye steak, champagne, and dessert (with peas 🤨) – we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you to the whole team.

24/05/2026: Mixed feelings about this restaurant. Some dishes were absolutely excellent! (Leeks as a starter, pike-perch as a main course, and opera cake for dessert) perfectly seasoned and flavorful, with sophisticated tastes. Others, like the duck, were uninteresting and lacked balance. The side dishes, all kinds of purées, were in far too small portions. The pike-perch portion was also much too small! Just three or four bites, and you have to eat slowly to avoid finishing the dish in five minutes... And we're not big eaters.... The so-called "gourmet coffee," even with the small, tasty sweet treats, was anything but gourmet... It was really stingy. We left feeling unsatisfied, both literally and figuratively. The wait between courses was too long. The chilled wine by the glass couldn't wait the 30 minutes before the fish arrived. So, second glass ordered... No amuse-bouche (which can be just a bite, but the thought is appreciated) or even a few peanuts (or anything else) with the aperitif, since the "real" amuse-bouches are extra... 🙄

30/12/2025: We stayed there in January and December 2025. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and offers good advice when needed. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful. We preferred this small, independent hotel to the chain hotels. We sincerely recommend this place, and if we are ever in the area again, we will definitely book there again.

15/05/2026: This is our second visit to Le Week-End restaurant in Chécy, and we were just as delighted as before. The setting is pleasant, the service welcoming, and the dishes as delicious as they are beautifully presented. We had another wonderful time, enjoying refined and flavorful cuisine from start to finish. Special mention goes to the beautiful presentation and perfectly balanced flavors. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return.

23/04/2026: The Lion d’Or is a particularly well-maintained hotel where you immediately feel at ease. The rooms and common areas are bright and well-kept. A very comfortable stay is guaranteed. The welcome is warm and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. Just a 10-minute walk away, you'll find a lovely park with a discovery trail showcasing the region's trees: a wonderful opportunity for a stroll while learning something new!

A symphony of flavors; you can tell the chef and his team cook with passion, using excellent ingredients to enchant our taste buds. We received a very warm welcome from the entire friendly team. Michèle, the owner (who even concocted superb custom cocktails for us), and Nathalie in the dining room also shared their good humor and kindness with us. A big thank you!
