13/02/2026: A hidden gem in Raon-l'Étape: Go for it without hesitation! While traveling in the area, I called this restaurant on a whim for lunch, and what a surprise! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a wonderful atmosphere in a modern and stylish setting. What immediately strikes you is the perfect blend of friendliness and professionalism. The service is both professional and warm; you instantly feel at ease. As for the food, the lunch menu is absolutely flawless: The starter: An excellent rabbit terrine. You can taste the "homemade" quality from the first bite, it's undeniable. The main course: A fillet of pollack with sweet potato, all enhanced by an incredible sauce... The chef is right to keep it a secret; it's truly memorable! The dessert: An apple-blueberry clafoutis so delicate it would make any gourmet blush. A truly wonderful discovery! 13/06/2026: My husband and I had an excellent meal at Drouant when we were in Paris last month. Mila was an exceptional server. I'm a big fan of sole meunière, and if it's on a menu I order it. The sole meunière was the BEST I had in France. The sommelier was excellent and the rhubarb canola was absolutely fabulous.

14/07/2026: A great find! The only problem was when we booked; we didn't ask the person on the phone if the room was air-conditioned. (There was no air conditioning in the room, thanks to the drafts!)

17/05/2026: The Garden of Giants is a magnificent haven of peace, somewhat hidden just behind the Lille-Europe train station. A superb and relaxing place that is truly worth a visit!

13/05/2026: An unusual garden in Euralille, primarily based around water and wetland plants, with fish and a terrapin! Also a lot of giant bamboo, a couple of large frames supporting wisteria and other climbers and a couple of large topiary heads. Very enjoyable, though not large and the surrounding roads detract a bit from getting there!

17/05/2026: A lovely hotel in a great location (5 minutes from the center). Alexandre provided an excellent welcome and helpful recommendations; he's also a master of scrambled eggs. Breakfast is excellent, and the sauna and hammam are a real bonus. I highly recommend it! :-)

21/04/2026: We booked a room for two people from April 11th to 12th through Booking.com for €136.85, without breakfast, but we ended up with a single room for €85. It seems to us that management could have offered a discount on breakfast! What a shame...

I received a very warm welcome and excellent service from the staff when I visited the restaurant yesterday to spend time with a resident, who was herself very happy and reassured in this place. Thank you also to the head chef for the wonderful welcome and the delicious homemade smoothies. Thank you so much for everything.

13/04/2026: A building dating back to the time of the thermal baths, close to the town center and public transport (bus, tram, and train). Micaud Park, bordering the river, is just 100 meters away. For those who enjoy gambling, there's a casino right outside. Presented as a luxurious residence, this senior living facility features a welcoming restaurant with late 19th-century comfort, open to all, and an original fireplace (1893).

16/07/2026: A discovery. A moment of perfection. From the cocktail (Italicus Spritz) to the simple yet indulgent dessert: a duo of strawberry and white chocolate, cherry and dark chocolate... not forgetting the extraordinary grilled octopus, the likes of which I didn't think possible to find in northern France. Returning several times confirms my conviction: this is a place where you can savor a regularly updated menu, offering one of the best value-for-money ratios in the city. A value rarely seen. We'll be back for lunch to enjoy a full menu.

05/07/2026: We ate well; the dishes were elaborate and delicious. However, there was a major disappointment with my starter. I ordered oysters, and of the six served, two were completely dead and dried out. The others weren't in very good condition either. They shouldn't have been served.
