27/03/2026: A chic and very classy place, the atmosphere is calming and soothing. The dishes are all beautifully presented, and they are also very tasty and surprising. The servers are pleasant and professional, and the service is efficient. I highly recommend L'Amphitryon.

24/03/2026: We tried to make a reservation for a table in the restaurant. We were on the phone for more than 10 minutes and then gave up. Not very customerfriendly. What a pity.

18/04/2026: The owners are exceptionally kind, always smiling and attentive. The cuisine is simply outstanding: generous, flavorful dishes, prepared with passion. You leave completely won over and eager to return very soon. Le Relais Henri IV is a gem. Five stars without hesitation.

06/04/2026: Undercooked kidneys, pinkish yes, but raw?? 50 grams of kidneys for an à la carte dish and a quarter of a carrot? Neither good nor well-prepared, and on top of that, the portion was extremely small. Servers wandering around aimlessly, seemingly unaware of what they're doing. The worst value for money in the area, a rip-off for what's served at this price. In short, avoid at all costs. A complete joke.

15/03/2026: Second brunch at Frères Marchand. We came in April 2025 and had a 5-star experience. This time, we were disappointed with the brunch on March 15, 2026, for several reasons: - The portions were generally much smaller compared to last year. - The savory options were no longer as varied or frequently offered. - €8.50 for a one-liter bottle of sparkling water... That's quite expensive. - Only three sweet options (a quarter of a very dry waffle, a caramel pancake, and a slice of blueberry tart that was only 1.5 cm wide). - The price had increased to €36.90 (compared to €31 in 2025). Fortunately, the cheeses and charcuterie were still of very high quality, and coffee/tea and orange juice were still unlimited. It was still a lovely experience, but the price and the reduced selection make us hesitate to return.

23/10/2025: We moved to Toussieu at the end of June and are already loyal customers. It's a very pleasant bar and restaurant, like our second home! All the dishes are very good and everything is homemade.

24/03/2026: Dear Guests, I would like to revisit my warning from yesterday regarding how to book a table at the restaurant "Au Bon Coin," following a helpful comment and clarification from the owner. The restaurant "Au Bon Coin," which enjoys an excellent reputation, does not have a website, but it does have a Facebook page. This is what caused my confusion when making my reservation: I had to use a different "Au Bon Coin" website. Regarding telephone reservations, it is indeed true that the restaurant is closed on Saturdays and that no telephone reservations are taken on that day. I would like to apologize to the owner, and especially to the public, for the incorrect information I published, which I unintentionally misled. The fact that this restaurant is fully booked well in advance speaks volumes about the quality of its food and service. We will certainly do better next time. Let's hope we will be welcome again! 16/04/2026: We visited this brasserie and were delighted by the warm welcome and friendliness of the owners. For our meal, we opted for meat dishes. They were cooked perfectly, and the excellent quality of the meat made them melt in your mouth. The tiramisu was so delicious that my partner didn't even leave me a single slice. Oh well, I made up for it and thoroughly enjoyed the panna cotta. The small coffee at the end of the meal was a delightful way to finish. It's a shame this brasserie isn't more widely known. But for those in the know, it's a great place to remember for lunch. It also has a terrace that enjoys plenty of sunshine on warm days.

31/01/2026: Simple but effective cuisine. The daily menu is very reasonably priced. I recommend it.

29/03/2026: We were attacked by a drunk man who assaulted a friend of mine. The "security" man—if you can even call him that—did absolutely nothing except protect the man. Security was nonexistent. I absolutely do not recommend this place. Avoid it.

16/03/2026: We celebrated a birthday in the room dedicated to group meals. There were 25 of us, and everything went perfectly: the meal was excellent and everything arrived piping hot, the service was impeccable, and the owner was very welcoming. He truly went the extra mile to ensure the event was perfect. We had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this place.
