09/07/2026: Hello, we had dinner at Eden last night (about 20 people). The carpaccio was excellent 👌, some pizzas lacked toppings and had too much dough, and the cordon bleu was far too dry and overcooked. The sauce wasn't enough to soften it. The burgers were 👍. The young waitress was awful. Every request was too much for her... we ended up not ordering anymore because she was truly unbearable. While we were still seated, she was throwing down her rags to clean the tables, saying, "Well, we have no choice, we won't be having any more coffee," and she threw us out. In short, a very bad experience!

28/09/2026: Three out of five of us got sick after dinner on Saturday the 26th. The next day I called the restaurant to report the problem, and they told me they would call me back... I'm still waiting... Good luck!

28/09/2026: ⭐ 1 star Terrible dining experience, a total waste of money. When I arrived, no one greeted me inside. I went to the outdoor area where staff were standing to order. An older waiter spoke to me in a harsh tone, saying I had to sit down first before ordering. I came here because I saw online reviews and the entrance mentioned Chinese menus, but I was told only English menus were available. After sitting down, I waved many times to get attention, but no staff came for a long time. Finally the older waiter came. I showed him my French note with my order, yet he was dismissive and barely glanced at it. I had to repeat my order several times. His tone was unfriendly, and he muttered something negative in French. Mid-meal, I asked a tattooed male server for more water. He gave me a cold look. Even though he left a bottle on my table, his attitude was unpleasant. After finishing my meal, I checked the bill and tried to call staff to pay by card. A female server heard me clearly but ignored me and walked Away. The older waiter came later, muttered in French again, and did not help with payment. Only the tattooed man came to process my card. I spent around 360 RMB for one person. The food was acceptable, but the whole team was rude and disrespectful to customers. I strongly advise tourists to avoid this restaurant. ⭐One-star review This dining experience was extremely poor; it was purely a waste of money to suffer. Upon entering, there was no one to greet me indoors. I went to the outdoor server area to order, where an older server was rude and told me I had to be seated before ordering. I saw a Chinese menu at the entrance and in online reviews, so I inquired, only to be told there was only an English menu. After being seated, I repeatedly waved for a server, but no one responded for a long time until this older server came. I prepared a slip of paper with the dishes written on it in French for him to order, but he was perfunctory and unwilling to read it carefully; I had to repeatedly confirm the dishes. During this process, his tone was very unfriendly, and he muttered in French, which sounded like a negative review. During the meal, I wanted to refill my water bottle. I approached a male waiter with tattoos; he was indifferent and, although he eventually placed a bottle on the table, his attitude was consistently poor. After finishing my meal, I checked the bill and prepared to pay by card. I waved for a waiter, but the female waitress, despite clearly hearing me, pretended not to see me and walked away. Later, an older waiter came and mumbled something in French, but didn't come to swipe my card. Finally, the male waiter came to complete the payment. The total cost for one person was approximately 360 RMB. Pendant le repas, j’ai demandé de l’eau supplémentaire à un serveur tatoué. Il avait une expression froide; même s’il a posé une bouteille sur ma table, son accueil était mauvais. À la fin du repas, Après avoir vérifé l’addition, j’ai essayé d’appeler le personnel pour payer par carte. Une serveuse m’a clairement entendu mais m’a ignoré et est partie. Quiet venu pour la transaction. It’s a great place to stay for 360 yuan. It’s a no-brainer, it’s a great place to be, it’s irresponsible and it’s clients. It’s a great restaurant for tourists.

28/06/2026: Our feedback regarding Chamber d’Hôtes outside Toulouse “Maison du Poêlon” which was very disappointing too. At arrival the place was looking nothing like the Pictures shown on their website. The Garden in front of the entrance was totally neglected and wooden entrance gate was broken. We arrived at 17h00 as per the email I received but no one opened the door although we rang the bell several times. Unfortunately using the given phone numbers did not go through as we are connected to e-SIM and only realized recently that we needed to change the one number in the French Code. When we finally could enter the establishment, the host did not apologize but simply told us he was busy vacuuming and that the door bell was also broken 😏 The room I booked “Maxime” he claimed wasn’t for us but later realized it was actually reserved under our name. The room was spacious and clean but no drinking Water was provided and tissue box was empty. Breakfast which was included was rather poor and represented by host’s wife who was initially hardly saying two words but as she realized my husband was French speaking eventually engaged in a conversation. However the breakfast was not at all like the reviews had mentioned, by far not “exceptional” ! The poorest display of choices we’ve ever had as a Buffet. Their local cheeses were two slices of Emmentaler & two of Gruyère and the same applied to the rest of the display. Unfortunately we got the impression or it was rather blatant that it was a dream entered into 7 years ago to own & run a Guesthouse by the hosts Thierry & Gaelle which turned out to be anything but … of which only the obligation of some form of duty is left.

22/05/2026: A beautiful building, a spacious and tastefully decorated room. Excellent breakfast. However, limited check-in and check-out times, and a noisy room with no soundproofing. Above-average value for money.

03/08/2026: I'm sorry to only give the food 2 out of 5, even though it's a very pleasant place and the service is attentive. I ordered a rare flank steak, and it arrived completely white, not seared (it's unbelievable that supposedly professional chefs can't serve rare meat but seared), and tough. It tasted good, but if it had been cooked properly, I think it would have been a very good cut of meat. But I'll try it again.

31/05/2026: This place doesn't serve food on match days, it's not a restaurant!!! Very disappointed, especially since their homemade burger looked so tempting 😡 but you didn't offer us any tapas, otherwise we would have stayed, sir

23/09/2026: During our two-week stay in Bordeaux, we discovered Bistrot des Anges. As a result, we went back every day for the entire two weeks, a total of eight times! The welcome is incredibly friendly, a smile is guaranteed, and the service is efficient yet allows you plenty of time to savor the simply divine cuisine at an affordable price (€24 for a main course, starter, and dessert). Each dish is presented with vibrant colors, a true work of art, and the flavors are a delight for the taste buds. The three starters, three of the five main courses, and the three desserts change daily. Everything was excellent. A huge thank you to their chef(s) for these moments of culinary bliss. Don't hesitate to make a reservation; the restaurant was packed every day.

14/09/2026: Do not go there if you do not speak fluent French. The service was particularly poor; we had to wait longer than the French guests, at least an hour. They also didn't come by to ask if we wanted anything to drink, and we weren't shown a menu. Guests who arrived half an hour after us had their food earlier; in fact, they were already gone before we got ours.

11/09/2026: What more can I say! Perhaps a little frustrated that I couldn't have dessert, because after the appetizer platter and main course, comes the guilt-inducing moment of worrying about the calories consumed! The staff were attentive and friendly, and the food was good. Next time, it will be a main course and dessert without the appetizer platter :)

23/08/2026: This is our third visit to this restaurant. The food was fine, but to our great surprise, when we ordered trout, we were told there was only one left, but we had spring rolls. Four of us ordered one trout and three spring rolls, and to our surprise, the response was, "I'll check, but I have to save some for the others." In fact, the reply never reached us... As a result, our husbands received their trout and spring roll appetizers, and we waited for our main courses... I only discovered the reasoning behind this, as the table served after us received their spring rolls. I should mention that we were there at 12:10 PM. Having booked a week in advance, I'm wondering about this.

22/08/2026: A real gem! It's rare these days to find a restaurant that combines so many advantages. Refined cuisine with excellent, carefully selected, and local ingredients, expert wine recommendations, a lovely terrace with a countryside view and a comfortable, welcoming dining room, discreet and attentive service, incredible value for money… what more could you ask for? I can't think of anything except that we can't wait to go back. A word of advice: book ahead, as this place is very popular.
