You arrive at the beginning of the 20th century, a time when gallantry, politeness, and good manners weren't just words, but a way of life! 🥰😍 From the head waiter, "the Bricklayer," to the waiter, Patrick, with his charming Southwestern accent, the entire service was impeccable! And the food was so delightful: the dishes were exquisitely prepared and truly delicious! Bravo to the chefs! 💖💖💖 A marvel from beginning to end! I went to this brasserie last night, Sunday, July 5th, with my parents and an Australian couple of friends. I had a wonderful time. Thank you to the whole team! I highly recommend it! 💖💖💖

04/07/2026: We were here during the summer heat, the only thing that didn't have air conditioning spoiled the enjoyment of dinner, otherwise everything was great

20/07/2026: We used Julien and his team for a paella delivered to our home for our civil wedding; I highly recommend them, everything went perfectly, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

23/07/2026: Be aware that prices are not the same online as in-person. We were surprised by the difference, and if we had known those prices before booking, we wouldn't have gone. On the other hand, the food was impeccable, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely. We have no complaints there; we still had a good time (I'm tempted to say, thankfully, given the prices).

30/06/2026: A wonderful discovery. A fine bistro-style restaurant where the cuisine is expertly prepared, from the flavors and cooking techniques to the seasonings. Special mention goes to the Reblochon crème brûlée with Reblochon ice cream, a perfectly balanced dish of sweet and savory flavors that paired beautifully with the red wine.

25/05/2026: A lovely restaurant in Cholet, fresh, well-cooked products, homemade ice cream, in short, go there and remember to book, be aware that it's closed on weekends.

25/07/2026: The sea bream, fillet, albacore tuna, and strawberry Melba were delicious. The terrine, bread, and Burgundy wine were ordinary. The fries were like salted cardboard. The service was quick but lacked attention to detail.

21/07/2026: Very disappointed with both the service and the food quality—definitely not worth the price. It was quite an important dinner to me because I met my old French friends there. However, I feel really ashamed for them. The server was completely untrained and acted like it was his very first day. He brought us the wrong wine and ended up breaking a glass at our table. The food was equally disappointing; we ordered our meat cooked to 'pink', but it came out overcooked. To make matters worse, the menu is full of sneaky extra charges. It clearly feels like a trick to hide their unreasonably high prices. To top it all off, when I accidentally pressed the print button on the card terminal while paying, the server lost his temper and got angry with me. Terrible service, deceptive pricing, and poor food quality. I won't be coming back.

18/05/2026: We discovered this hotel by chance with a last-minute booking. I have rarely experienced such high-quality service from every single staff member we encountered, which shows it's a deliberate policy of the establishment. We were stuck on the highway, arriving at 10 PM instead of 8:30 PM; we were expecting a quick room service, but the kitchen staff offered, without us even asking, to welcome us to the restaurant where we enjoyed a very fine dinner served by a kind and charming head waiter. The very green setting near the forest is lovely and offers a real change of scenery. The room was very comfortable and unique. Note: if you type "hotel cazaudehore" into Waze, it will take you to the center of Saint-Germain-en-Laye; you should type in the address or just "cazaudehore".

10/05/2026: This hotel is wonderful. Whether in the hotel or the restaurant, all the staff were very efficient and responsive, and we truly felt their hospitality. We were able to completely relax. The restaurant also had a great atmosphere, and the food was delicious. If there's one area for improvement, it would be the wine service: after the first glass was poured by the staff, we had to refill our own glasses because the servers seemed very busy. With an additional person in the dining room, this kind of small detail would undoubtedly have been better handled, and the experience would have been even more enjoyable.

25/06/2026: Conveniently located on Boulevard Jean Jaurès, Café Pantel is something of an institution. Always lively, it's a popular spot for people to gather around a beer or a coffee, chatting about football or bullfighting. The food is simple and good. Friendly service.

03/03/2026: Hello, We stayed with you this weekend, but unfortunately we didn't get the room with a balcony we requested. A major drawback was the restaurant being full with people who weren't even staying at the hotel. Otherwise, it was a great hotel.

20/04/2026: We came as a group yesterday for lunch and we were all very satisfied. A warm welcome, a very picturesque and green setting, and refined, high-quality dishes.

12/06/2026: This place is amazing! Owned by a couple and family who run it, it is homey and sea themed while still providing excellent food in the restaurant and patisserie, and modern flair and comfort in the rooms. The views cannot be beat to hang out with the pink boulders and sand! When we were in a pickle, the owner even drove me 5 km away to pick up our car! Cannot recommend it enough.

13/08/2026: A warm and very pleasant welcome upon our arrival. The meal was excellent, carefully prepared and full of flavor. All this in a very pleasant setting (lunch on the terrace overlooking the church). Dogs are welcome on the terrace. A very good place to eat in Châtel-Montagne.
