21/05/2026: Restaurant meal: What a disappointment! As long-time customers, the change of chef is going to be difficult. Lunching with friends, we didn't find the same quality, creativity, or generous portions. We also missed the chef's presence, his willingness to interact with customers and share those enjoyable moments of conviviality. It's good that there's a new owner, and it's difficult to take over from a chef with such high-quality professional experience. They should at least try to draw inspiration from what made Château du Bost so renowned. We'll wait for future reviews before deciding whether to return. Best of luck nonetheless.

17/05/2026: Very nice hotel. We had a large clean room, one of 2 on ground floor near parking, excellent for a person w mobility issue. Large parking. Quiet. Pleasant staff, very good restaurant (one menu for the day). Good breakfast. Recommended.

23/04/2026: The Lion d’Or is a particularly well-maintained hotel where you immediately feel at ease. The rooms and common areas are bright and well-kept. A very comfortable stay is guaranteed. The welcome is warm and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. Just a 10-minute walk away, you'll find a lovely park with a discovery trail showcasing the region's trees: a wonderful opportunity for a stroll while learning something new!

13/08/2026: I was there with a friend for his birthday. We were seated on the terrace, not too close to our neighbors, so we were very comfortable. Great welcome, delicious food, and attentive staff 😍 I highly recommend it!

12/08/2026: A delightful discovery! Quality cuisine and fresh ingredients, special mention for the fries, both melt-in-your-mouth and crispy, and the chocolate fondant, with its true dark chocolate flavor. The meats are cooked to perfection, which is a real treat. Good wine selection, but the bottles are a few euros overpriced. Portions are a decent size for those with a moderate appetite, but perhaps a tad small for those with a hearty appetite. The tables on the terrace are a bit small. If a 4.5-star rating were possible, it would have been. We will definitely return to try other items on the menu, all of which look very tempting.

23/07/2026: We arrived in a room, and immediately! What a surprise to see the wine cellar right below us! Then we headed to the terrace, and there too, the setting was sublime! The waiter was very pleasant and smiling! I ordered a veal T-bone steak, being a true epicurean... the waiter recommended it cooked rare! And I assure you, my taste buds were in ecstasy! The meat was simply sublime! The pink garlic sauce was a delight... The homemade hamburger bun was a surprise! Everything was truly delicious! We definitely recommend it. The service is impeccable, the cuisine is varied with Northern specialties, the American food is top-notch, and the draft beer is excellent. The prices are quite reasonable.
