12/04/2026: We had a wonderful time. The service was perfect and the food was excellent. Our waiter, Renaud, who looked after our table, was very helpful, friendly, and always smiling. We highly recommend this establishment.

06/04/2026: Undercooked kidneys, pinkish yes, but raw?? 50 grams of kidneys for an à la carte dish and a quarter of a carrot? Neither good nor well-prepared, and on top of that, the portion was extremely small. Servers wandering around aimlessly, seemingly unaware of what they're doing. The worst value for money in the area, a rip-off for what's served at this price. In short, avoid at all costs. A complete joke.

19/05/2026: A very good restaurant on the Old Port. We ordered two fish and chips and they were both excellent. The service was very quick and quite pleasant. I recommend it if you're in the area.

27/03/2026: I was out for a walk when I saw what looked like a deer coming out of a truck. I don't know about you, but seeing a dead animal like that traumatized me a bit; it was disgusting. I completely lost my appetite.

03/03/2026: A delicate meal with beautifully presented dishes. I was captivated. Time seemed to stand still. There was no rush. The service was discreet and efficient. The courses arrived in perfect timing. Everything was refined. Bravo to the entire team. I know what it takes to create this experience for us. Thank you. I will be back.

15/03/2026: Second brunch at Frères Marchand. We came in April 2025 and had a 5-star experience. This time, we were disappointed with the brunch on March 15, 2026, for several reasons: - The portions were generally much smaller compared to last year. - The savory options were no longer as varied or frequently offered. - €8.50 for a one-liter bottle of sparkling water... That's quite expensive. - Only three sweet options (a quarter of a very dry waffle, a caramel pancake, and a slice of blueberry tart that was only 1.5 cm wide). - The price had increased to €36.90 (compared to €31 in 2025). Fortunately, the cheeses and charcuterie were still of very high quality, and coffee/tea and orange juice were still unlimited. It was still a lovely experience, but the price and the reduced selection make us hesitate to return.

15/03/2026: Excellent food but very slow service. It took 45 minutes just to take our drink order. I still recommend it, though.

27/03/2026: A chic and very classy place, the atmosphere is calming and soothing. The dishes are all beautifully presented, and they are also very tasty and surprising. The servers are pleasant and professional, and the service is efficient. I highly recommend L'Amphitryon.

24/03/2026: We tried to make a reservation for a table in the restaurant. We were on the phone for more than 10 minutes and then gave up. Not very customerfriendly. What a pity.

25/05/2026: A lovely restaurant in Cholet, fresh, well-cooked products, homemade ice cream, in short, go there and remember to book, be aware that it's closed on weekends.

29/05/2026: We had a lovely time at your restaurant, L'Indigo, on Thursday, May 28th. My husband had the "Nashi Sour" aperitif, which he loved; he wasn't familiar with this Japanese pear blend. My son had the Virgin Mojito, and my daughter and I had the Citrus Sweetness, which was also excellent. Then we ordered three mussels and fries: two with cream sauce and one with blue cheese. They were excellent and very generous portions, especially the mussels. My son also had the burger, and to finish, we had three ice cream sundaes and a delicious Nutella crepe. PS: We loved the company of the adorable little birds.

27/05/2026: The mussels in cream sauce I ordered last night were extremely salty. They were really bad... they need to revise their recipe; it was way too salty and tasted like blue cheese. I only ate the mussels on top because the bottom, covered in sauce, was inedible. My partner wanted a burger without lettuce and tomato, but we were told it wasn't possible. We were just asking for fewer things in the burger, which logically meant less work. We were told no. Anyway, the waiter who took our order wasn't very pleasant, he was overwhelmed, and it's going to be a long season for him! The only positive points were the fries, which were good, and the setting is beautiful.

03/06/2026: We had a good experience at this restaurant, largely thanks to Maximilien. The main courses and starters are very good, but the choux pastry desserts aren't all that amazing.

18/05/2026: We discovered this hotel by chance with a last-minute booking. I have rarely experienced such high-quality service from every single staff member we encountered, which shows it's a deliberate policy of the establishment. We were stuck on the highway, arriving at 10 PM instead of 8:30 PM; we were expecting a quick room service, but the kitchen staff offered, without us even asking, to welcome us to the restaurant where we enjoyed a very fine dinner served by a kind and charming head waiter. The very green setting near the forest is lovely and offers a real change of scenery. The room was very comfortable and unique. Note: if you type "hotel cazaudehore" into Waze, it will take you to the center of Saint-Germain-en-Laye; you should type in the address or just "cazaudehore".

10/05/2026: This hotel is wonderful. Whether in the hotel or the restaurant, all the staff were very efficient and responsive, and we truly felt their hospitality. We were able to completely relax. The restaurant also had a great atmosphere, and the food was delicious. If there's one area for improvement, it would be the wine service: after the first glass was poured by the staff, we had to refill our own glasses because the servers seemed very busy. With an additional person in the dining room, this kind of small detail would undoubtedly have been better handled, and the experience would have been even more enjoyable.

28/05/2026: Fantastic restaurant! The owner very kindly agreed to accommodate our group of six bikers despite a large reservation of 50 covers. We ate outside, in the shade of the linden trees, facing the church in Châtel: a truly lovely setting. The owner is friendly, humorous, and very welcoming. The service was excellent, and the promised wait times were respected. As for the food, everything was delicious, with a nice touch of originality in the dishes. Excellent value for money. A wonderful place we'll gladly return to… and so will our motorcycles!

10/05/2026: If you're passing through Saumur, make a detour (Restaurant La Vallée du Clairay) on the road to Rosiers-sur-Loire! I just returned to my favorite restaurant where the service is impeccable. The waitress is very friendly and welcoming, and the waiter is lovely too. Go check it out if you want to try different flavors; personally, I love it! 🍽🥂
