17/07/2026: The cheesecake was good, but the cake was missing. Otherwise, everything else was good. They only served sparkling water.

12/07/2026: A delightful place but a poor experience as the waitress accidentally spilled an entire beer all over my daughter, she eventually brought a towel but we were charged full price with no acknowledgment of the inconvenience and the head waiter seemed entirely indifferent. A real shame.

27/03/2026: A chic and very classy place, the atmosphere is calming and soothing. The dishes are all beautifully presented, and they are also very tasty and surprising. The servers are pleasant and professional, and the service is efficient. I highly recommend L'Amphitryon.

24/03/2026: We tried to make a reservation for a table in the restaurant. We were on the phone for more than 10 minutes and then gave up. Not very customerfriendly. What a pity.

09/08/2026: There were nine of us, the welcome was friendly, but the meal dragged on. We had to ask to be served. We'll chalk that up to the night market being open. However, the concert was far too loud. Entertainment is fine, but when you go to a restaurant, you go to chat, not to shout to be heard.

09/08/2026: The small port of Rochefort is very calm, and the food is good. No complaints.

26/07/2026: The waiter was a short, red-haired man—sorry for the word, incredible!—nothing to complain about. Quick, efficient, and full of humor, as he should be. Perfect food, except that the bartender and two other waiters acted like they were running a corner shop.

01/06/2026: A somewhat disappointing evening in terms of taste. The waitress didn't know the dishes, forgot to bring us the carafe of water and coffee at the end of the meal, but didn't forget to charge us for it. We pointed this out when paying, but the waitress, who was standing next to the waiter handling the payment (who did offer us coffee at the counter and apologize for our dissatisfaction), offered no apology. Similarly, when we brought our plates back, the same waitress, to whom we spoke about our dissatisfaction with one dish (the scallops were overcooked, bland, and only two out of three were returned), said she would pass on the information. We never heard back, hence the complaint, which we felt was important to report. On the other hand, we were pleasantly surprised by the desserts, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We always enjoyed good food and excellent service under the previous owners, but now with the new owners, we won't be returning anytime soon. Too disappointing for just one evening. We do not recommend this establishment.

30/05/2026: Some rooms are outdated, and the value for money is disappointing. Upon arrival, the air conditioning was broken, even though it was 30°C outside. As a result, we were in unbearably hot conditions all night, and the staff offered no alternative solution at the time. The services are not really commensurate with the price charged!

17/07/2026: Bresse chicken with exceptional cream sauce, better than at Blanc's. Dining room a little noisy

06/07/2026: We had an exceptional time at La Mère Bouvier restaurant. The dishes were simply delicious. Special mention goes to the chicken in cream sauce: a pure marvel that, in my opinion, far surpasses the level of Blanc in Vonnas! As for the melon and mango soup with garden herbs, it was more than divine, incredibly fresh and perfectly balanced. A huge thank you to the Chef and his entire team for their talent and warm welcome. We will definitely be back!

17/07/2026: We enjoyed the snail feast last night at Le Globe and had a wonderful evening. The snails were delicious, a real treat! The staff is incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive, which contributes to a relaxed and convivial atmosphere. We particularly appreciated the family-friendly feel of the restaurant. There were children present, everyone was welcome, and it's truly delightful to be able to enjoy a restaurant where families are greeted with a smile. You feel comfortable and relaxed in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A big thank you to the entire team for this lovely time. We will definitely be back!

17/07/2026: After a successful first visit this winter, we returned to this restaurant hoping to enjoy another delicious cargolade. What a disappointment! The snails were either overcooked or undercooked (on the same grill) and extremely salty. The duck breast served was more like half or a third of a breast…it was difficult to cut and completely tasteless. It came with three asparagus spears and a few fries. The service was appalling: the snails arrived without aioli, then the aioli without bread (we were told it was still cooking…), and so on. The fourth diner received their duck breast fifteen minutes after the snails…The wine arrived completely late as well! We certainly won't be returning a third time.

15/05/2026: I really like this place, but I was disappointed. The service is too fast, and the quality of the food isn't as good as it used to be, especially the gourmet coffee. It's not good value for money. It's a shame because the place itself is very nice.

01/07/2026: There's a big party (school prom?) happening at the chateau this evening. I would expect a hotel to notify its guests of such an event. I have a long travel day tomorrow and was expecting an early night (especially being mid-week).

24/04/2026: A very beautiful and charming hotel. It's a real treat to be able to work remotely from their garden overlooking the lake. The rooms are lovely and very comfortable. The only improvement worth noting is that they don't have a dinner menu; they might suggest what they have available at the time.

08/06/2026: Individual bungalow in a wooded park, one of ten bungalows, next to the star-rated hotel. Poorly signposted, railway line nearby (thankfully, few trains). Weared bedding (mattress...). Breakfast, eaten once at the hotel, buffet style, plentiful and varied. Welcoming staff.

As both a caterer and restaurateur, the dishes featuring Loire catfish, lamb with pea cream, and the desserts were all superb. I highly recommend it, not least for the beautiful setting on the banks of the Loire!
