21/09/2024: Pleasant discovery! Very warm welcome, suggestion of the day (salmon tartare on a bed of avocado and mango, a treat) by the very nice waitress, we had a good time.

15/09/2024: The staff is always attentive, and the team makes real efforts to offer as many fresh and local products as possible. The fries are homemade😁 The burger bun is made in a bakery, many products are purchased directly on the market, and a daily menu is offered to you. Good value for money for this brand

20/10/2024: Le verre de vin à 7 euros Cairanne, ballon au trois quart vide, j'ai cru à une dégustation , j'ai demandé si il y avait une erreur, non c'est la dose de l'établissement. et deserts pas à la hauteur .

06/10/2024: Ancienne gare joliment réaménagée en bistrot. Le personnel est jeune, sympathique et agréable. Les jeunes serveurs nous ont conseillé des vins en accord avec nos mets. Les plats étaient bien présentés et très généreux.

03/11/2024: Très beau cadre, en toute simplicité. Plat succulent et généreux. Personnel charmant , Très attentionné. Le camembert rôti au miel excellent.

12/10/2024: Une jolie carte qui évolue régulièrement, personnel sympathique, et motivé, et aux petits soins des clients. L’entrée et le plat étaient délicieux, gourmands mais juste bien en quantité. Seul petit bémol, pour le dessert, ou les ingrédients sont industriels, ce qui rend le dessert standard… Le cadre est très agréable avec la vue dégagée sur la mer, et les locaux sont biens tenus. On y passe un bon moment.

16/11/2024: Very good little beer bar and restaurant. Warm welcome and good atmosphere, an XXXL format TV to follow the different sports. The fries are EXCELLENT and the burgers are the same! I give 4 stars because perhaps the choice of beer is a little tight.

10/10/2024: Estaminet with a very pleasant atmosphere. Choice: “Carbonnade Flemish” (24€) drink and dessert (chocolate fondant, scoop of vanilla ice cream, 6€), around thirty euros in total. Pleasant service: drux large glasses of water given without asking. The carbonnade is succulent, the quantity very generous, in fries, meat, and salad. The fondant is honorable, nothing more, I was left a little hungry, having eaten better ones elsewhere, for less money. The great strength of this restaurant is therefore to offer typically Belgian classics (mussels and fries, pork cheeks à la "Gulden Draak", carbonnade) which are difficult to find elsewhere in France (outside the NPDC region), which explains the price. The dish+drink+dessert set is therefore not cheap, it is perhaps (a little) too expensive for what it is, but I will come back. The taste experience was very satisfactory, despite a small downside in terms of price.

21/09/2024: Delicious meal and the quantities are very generous! 😁😋 I just had fish and here I am with fish, fries, green beans, salad, and mushrooms. Very good little aperitif biscuits! Many dishes are homemade. Honestly not disappointed!!! We will come back! Especially for the fireplace because in winter they light a small fireplace in the center of the restaurant...

11/09/2024: Living in Nîmes and passing through the region, for many years and at least once a year we have come to eat in this restaurant where the cuisine is always of high quality and where we are always warmly welcomed. You absolutely have to try the Picon house beer 😋

14/12/2024: Truly Delicious, in all of Cherbourg it is the only restaurant where I have eaten a burger which was as good and qualitative, due to its generosity and the choice of ingredients, a meat prepared on site which makes it tender as desired, a proportion perfect sauce/meat/yaws/cheese. I recommend to everyone.

18/09/2024: The combination of time and a change of ownership has not been kind to this formerly wonderful bistro. While we were happy to find it on a Sunday night after wandering the 6th looking desperately for somewhere open to eat, there was much lacking in the meal, despite the efforts of a kind staff. Plates were sloppily prepared, sides were the same across several meals, and the food lacked the energy that it used to have. But the rose was decent and we had a good time. Eat there only if necessary.

11/08/2024: What can I say: really disappointed, not by the quality of the dishes served that we experienced, but by the lack of rigor in the management of reservations. We had reserved a Sunday lunchtime for 5 people, unfortunately when we arrived, the restaurant was deserted, neither waiter nor chef in the kitchen… It seems to me that a phone call or message to warn of the unexpected would have been the least we could do….
