13/06/2026: Very good restaurant, very fine and refined dishes, but when we are offered drinks, they could bring us the price list to avoid surprises and the owner does not take care of people who do not order the tea that she absolutely wants to sell.

11/06/2026: We had known about this restaurant for a while but only had the chance to visit this past week during a recent trip to Normandie...and it was well worth the wait. Everything exceeded expectations: the setting, the service, and especially the famous cuisine of chef Philippe Hardy and the careful attentions of his spouse, Nadia, who deserve their hard-earned Michelin star with their distinctive and creative menu, hyper-local ingredients, and warm and welcoming hospitality. My husband and I are both musicians and found the whole experience like an exquisite, multi-layered composition, "une symphonie véritable des délices!," as we told Madame Hardy on leaving. We made our selections from two different menus -- and both were filled with delightful surprises, from the copious and delicious amuses gueules to the extraordinary bread ritual, with its rare smoked butters, salts, spices, and honey, to the perfectly proportioned entrées and plats, and beautifully subtle fish preparations, followed by discrete desserts (with possibly the best île flottante I have ever tasted) along with parting sweets. Amazing. For those wanting to extend the pleasure, there was also a Japanese tea ritual on offer, which we did not choose, but watched others enjoy, so it will be something to try next time. This restaurant, despite its extremely high standard of execution, was also surprisingly relaxed and unpretentious. It should definitely be on every list of "addresses incontournables." We cannot wait to return.

27/05/2026: The welcome was very pleasant, and the prices were fair and affordable. We ordered two pizzas which were excellent, with flavorful ingredients. The service was also quick.

27/05/2026: We loved it, it was delicious. We were warmly welcomed and served quickly. We ordered a calzone and a tartiflette pizza. Probably one of the best calzones I've ever had. The thin crust recipe was delicious and original 🙌 We'll definitely be back

19/04/2026: This was our second time eating there. There was a good selection on the menu, the portions were generous, and above all, the food was delicious. The warm welcome and friendly service, with a touch of humor, made for a pleasant and enjoyable experience. Nothing more was needed. It was perfect, and thank you to the waiter in the pink t-shirt for his kindness. 😊 We'll be back and I highly recommend it!

08/06/2026: The music was too loud... The staff were rushing from table to table but were very friendly and welcoming. We ordered platters. Quite generous portions.

21/03/2026: I settled in alone yesterday at lunchtime under Christine's pergola. Six extraordinary oysters, six very fresh shrimp, a small glass of rosé, bread and mayonnaise on the side. Sunshine and a light breeze on the Arcachon Bay, a view of mallard ducks quacking in the small stream at the bottom of the mudflats at low tide. The hospitality of Christine and her husband seems straight out of a timeless novel. This couple loves their work, but even more so, they love people. If you like modernity, don't rush. If you appreciate the truth of a story that paints a whole landscape of languor and humanity, this is an essential stop.

02/03/2026: A warm welcome, no fuss, and oysters that were particularly delicious in early March, and a good size for size 3. The Espelette pepper pâté was fragrant, and the white wine from Château Farizeau (Entre-Deux-Mers) paired perfectly with everything. And the price was reasonable for the whole experience; in short, highly recommended.

08/06/2026: A lovely brasserie with a warm welcome. We opted for two mocktails, two appetizers, and two main courses. Everything was delicious and quite generous, even for us light eaters. Unfortunately, we were only passing through, but we'll definitely keep the address in mind for our next visit.

31/05/2026: Good restaurant, the dining room is a bit noisy, but the classic dishes are generous and delicious. €35 for a starter, main course, and dessert on Sundays. Be careful with the bill; there was a €20 error on a set menu that was incorrectly charged à la carte.

18/05/2026: It's okay. An improvement for the tables for two would be welcome. We were seated between two and four people, separated by a small partition at table level. It's really not ideal. The food is decent. The service is good, friendly, and pleasant, but cleaning the neighbor's table with a spray cleaner on that small table without warning is very poor.

04/06/2026: Thursday, June 4th. We checked online to find out if we were going to eat at La Marine, opening at 6:45 PM. But what a surprise! When we arrived around 7 PM, we saw that they were closed for holidays. Nothing was written about it, neither on Google nor on your website—a disaster! We were there three times—the first, the only, and the last time. Keep up the good work. Roger from Switzerland

25/05/2026: A very well-located restaurant; you can eat outside in the summer. The mussels and fries are delicious, and the service is friendly and quick. It was just as good in July 25th as it was in April 26th, and I will definitely go back.

07/06/2026: I booked a room at this hotel-restaurant for 10 hiking friends to be as close as possible to the ferry terminal for the Île de Sein, and also because I liked the hotel's website. We were all thrilled. The rooms are beautiful and impeccably clean. The large lounge is comfortable, with a lovely pool table and a bar stocked with a selection of the finest spirits. We had only booked dinner for the first evening, but it was so exquisite that we dined at the hotel every night, culminating in an absolutely unforgettable lobster dish on our last night. The owner and her daughter (an intellectual who hadn't initially planned on a career in hospitality) are, in fact, highly professional. The restaurant is tastefully furnished, bright, and overlooks the sea; my only complaint: it's 2,000 km from our home in Rome!

02/06/2026: We had a great stay in a very convenient location with a sea view, free parking, a very warm welcome from the owner, a very good breakfast with plenty of choice, and Carole was always available if you needed anything. 23/04/2026: I ordered at 11:30 am to be sure of receiving my order at 12:10 pm as promised. I received my order at 1:10 pm, just as I was returning to work at 1:00 pm. I think we're in different time zones. Next time, I'll order at 10:00 am to be sure. I also think the kebab shop is in Turkey, but I'm not certain. A one-hour delay and no compensation whatsoever, not even a free can of soda (I should mention that I called them at least five times while waiting and that my order arrived almost cold).

16/05/2026: Dried whelks, female crab with little flavor, waiter forgot part of the order... Peach, almond, and frangipane tart: Too much, it didn't taste like canned peach, tasteless industrial whipped cream

15/12/2025: This Léon de Bruxelles in the northern part of Auxerre is typical of the chain: you go there without any surprises, but you know you'll get a decent meal. The menu is, of course, focused on seafood, but offers a few options if you don't like fish. I tried the Léon Casserole, which was good, although the amount of fish was a bit small and probably frozen. Be careful with the garnish: although it says sweet potatoes, it's mostly potatoes (about 80%). The paella was okay, but it's more of a French-style paella, nothing exceptional, and the rice used isn't ideal for this dish. Note that the drinks are quite expensive. Overall: It's a reliable restaurant for a quick meal if you're not looking for anything original. A decent choice.
