19/03/2026: To Sébastien, our waiter for the evening: thank you for this timeless moment… where the concept of service seemed to have been suspended, a frosty welcome, service as enthusiastic as a rainy Monday morning, and when it came time to pay… the grand finale: not a single thank you. We're still undecided between an immersive experience and a hidden camera prank. Looking forward to not bothering you again! I'm sorry to make this comment, Melvin (manager), anything goes when the boss is away!

04/02/2026: A pleasant time on the terrace with friends. A little music would have been appreciated. It's a shame there weren't many options for snacks before dinner.

10/11/2025: Mixed experience: you have to order at the counter before sitting down. So you end up reading the menu standing up to make your choice... The galettes and crêpes were okay, nothing special. One was badly burnt on the bottom. Touristy prices. In short, not great value for money.

La Criée du Tomahawk exceeded all these expectations. The warm welcome and impeccable service added a touch of perfection to our experience. I highly recommend this restaurant, which greatly enhanced our stay.

05/12/2025: Returning from fishing on the Gois causeway, we stopped with our cousins. We had a very good meal, a pleasant welcome, and excellent staff. The €15 set menu was very reasonable, except for the meat, which was a bit pricey at €8.50 extra, which was a little expensive.

23/03/2026: Quick order and service. I ate quite well despite a bad drink and a bad main course at our table. No Irish coffee because "they didn't have the machine." They charged us at the table even though we hadn't finished our desserts.

16/03/2026: So what can I say... The waitresses were smiling, but they forgot three of our four orders. The waitress swept the floor next to us, and to top it all off, there was no one there when we left. It's a shame, I used to like Leon de Bruxelles.

25/01/2026: Honestly, it's a masterclass! My colleague knows the manager and he recommended I come here. And frankly, the quality is good and the portions are really generous. Keep up the good work with the quality of the food because it's a real treat when you're starving.

22/03/2026: A strange experience at this restaurant. My friend and I were seated by the manager and ordered two aperitifs and our main courses. We arrived at 12:45 PM, and since there was a wait, we assumed it was due to a kitchen issue. We made our presence known twice, but at 2:30 PM we finally got up, and the bar manager offered us complimentary aperitifs. Luckily, we then enjoyed oysters at Le Petit Bigorneau in Port Leucate, where this time the service was truly professional.

18/03/2026: Out of season, the place is quiet and very pleasant. Dogs are welcome, and they even gave him water without asking. The service was very friendly. I highly recommend this place. Note that the menu switches to summer mode at the beginning of April.

11/12/2025: Overall, the stay was okay, but the end was a very bad experience. The campsite kept my entire deposit after my early departure, without providing a quote or invoice. I had to wait several weeks and take steps to finally receive a belated invoice and a partial refund. Since the inventory was carried out without me, communication was complicated and lacked transparency. Furthermore, when I came to the campsite to get an explanation, I received a very poor welcome and was subjected to unacceptable behavior from an employee, which led me to file a complaint. It's a shame, because the stay itself had gone well, but the handling of the deposit and the staff's behavior completely ruined the experience. I'm sharing my opinion to warn future customers to be vigilant.
