25/05/2026: We really enjoyed it; the food was very good, a bit pricey but very fresh. We mostly ordered seafood, which is what they do in that area.

25/05/2026: We're regulars at this restaurant; this was our fourth visit, and we often order the same seafood platter for two. Until now, we've been satisfied, but this time the quality was really lacking. We also ordered the daily special: sardines. One of them was clearly spoiled, with a terrible texture and taste. Frankly, I don't understand how a restaurant can serve a product in that condition. In the seafood platter, the mussels fell apart as soon as we touched them, and the tuna wasn't fresh either. I'm particularly sensitive to the freshness of oily fish because I'm allergic to it when it's not fresh: it immediately causes an itchy mouth. When we pointed out the problem, the chef simply told us that "everything was fresh," without really listening to our comment. We felt we weren't being taken seriously, even though we know a lot about seafood. It's a real shame, because we used to enjoy coming here, but this experience was very disappointing.

12/05/2026: Three dinners in September 2025. Everything was excellent. Original, unique, and local. It certainly comes at a price. But it's the price of memories of a wonderful evening in a wonderful setting. What a pleasure to be welcomed in such a friendly atmosphere by people who love what they do. Well done and thank you.

13/04/2026: A great spot right by the sea, with a setting that’s hard to beat. Sandy streets of le Racou I mean it's already great. Menje Ecaille has that relaxed, beachside energy. Simple, lively, and easy to enjoy. The seafood is fresh and well prepared, with some dishes really standing out. You can tell the products are good, and when it hits, it hits right. Service is friendly and the atmosphere does a lot of the work. Sitting there, with the sound of the water and the light at the end of the day, it’s exactly where you want to be. The only downside is the price, which feels a bit high for what’s on the plate. Some places are about perfection. This one is about the moment and it still delivers.

12/10/2025: Avoid the menu, the auction, a reduced menu, only the fish was okay, the other dishes poorly cooked, no coordination in the service: no napkins at the table, you have to ask for wine, fish sauce and what a wait

16/06/2026: Passing by on our bikes, we discovered this restaurant with several tables set up for service at 3 pm. Great, we were going to be able to have a drink and dessert... but no one even looked at us... Not a word... not even a word to be served. We were completely ignored. :( What a disappointment! Is this how a business owner should operate?

24/05/2026: Hello, we ate at your restaurant on Saturday, May 23rd. We are restaurant owners ourselves and were very surprised to see dirty plates arrive at the table for the oysters, and the water glasses were not clean at all. And to top it all off, we saw someone walking between the tables with their trash during service... (hygiene definitely needs improvement). As for the meal, I ordered the salmon with garlic cream sauce. The piece of fish was ridiculously small. I know the cost of ingredients is increasing, but instead of serving a 100g piece of raw salmon, use a less expensive white fish and make proper portions. This would prevent customers from feeling ripped off. And I won't even mention the salmon, which was completely overcooked. My wife ordered the prawns... cooked the same way as the salmon. This isn't meant to be a criticism, but a little more attention to detail would be appreciated, even if you only have passing trade.

11/12/2025: Overall, the stay was okay, but the end was a very bad experience. The campsite kept my entire deposit after my early departure, without providing a quote or invoice. I had to wait several weeks and take steps to finally receive a belated invoice and a partial refund. Since the inventory was carried out without me, communication was complicated and lacked transparency. Furthermore, when I came to the campsite to get an explanation, I received a very poor welcome and was subjected to unacceptable behavior from an employee, which led me to file a complaint. It's a shame, because the stay itself had gone well, but the handling of the deposit and the staff's behavior completely ruined the experience. I'm sharing my opinion to warn future customers to be vigilant.

17/05/2026: Hello, there were 18 of us at the table. We received a warm welcome, the waiter was excellent, and the meal was absolutely delightful. The service was very good, and the establishment is lovely. We will definitely return. Thank you to the team at Le Grand Sud for their hospitality and friendliness. 25/05/2026: The pizzas aren't what they used to be! Takeaway order: the pizzas are burnt, the ham cubes aren't even fully cut... and to top it all off, indigestion during the night!

23/05/2026: I wanted to rate the machine in Saudrupt since there's no other place to do so. I ordered a kebab pizza this evening. It was quite generously topped, but even though I chose to have it hot, it was cold. The cheese hadn't even melted. The crust wasn't great. The price was relatively high compared to those I buy in a big city. What a shame!
