24/09/2026: A wonderful discovery! We're going back tonight! L'Ostréa is one of those rare finds where everything seems perfectly aligned. The restaurant has private parking, a charming dining room, and a lovely outdoor area. We were lucky enough to dine in the charming cabana, which made the evening particularly intimate and memorable. The freshness of the seafood was exceptional. We enjoyed razor clams, octopus, scallops, a superb seafood platter, and a perfectly cooked John Dory. Each dish truly showcased the ingredients, with precise, flavorful cooking and no unnecessary frills. The wine list is quite short, but very well thought out, with excellent choices to accompany the seafood and fish. Our server was delightful, smiling, attentive, and very pleasant. She helped make us feel truly privileged throughout the meal, without ever being intrusive. Between the charming setting, the exceptional quality of the food, and the friendly service, this dinner will remain a very fond memory. We loved it so much that we've already booked to return tonight!

16/08/2026: Great spot with a really cool view! However, be aware: they advertise closing time as 9:30 PM, but when we arrived at 9:10 PM, we were told they were closed. So we made the trip for nothing, which wasn't great. Please adjust your hours if you don't offer service until 9:30 PM.

20/09/2026: Excellent fish and seafood restaurant. We don't hesitate to drive an hour and fifteen minutes when we're craving good fish or shellfish. The warm welcome from the owner and the servers—a charming young woman and an equally charming young man—is a real bonus. We've already tried the seafood platter, as well as the chef's specialty of cooked seafood platters, and the fish dishes—everything is absolutely delicious. If you love fish and seafood, don't hesitate, this is the place to go. Excellent value for money; we certainly didn't hold back, especially on dessert, and there was a good selection of wines. If I could give more than five stars, I would.

01/09/2026: As a long-time customer, I know this establishment very well, but I feel it has lost some of its luster. While the overall experience is still decent, the wine selection is no longer quite up to par. It's also a shame to be served on chipped plates, a detail that stands out in a place like Angers.
