21/09/2026: My husband and I stumbled upon this place by chance and we have unforgettable memories of it... for the beauty of the location, the unique character of the canal, the delicious food, and the friendliness of the owners! It was October 18, 2020.
And our wedding anniversary!
I kept the card... as a gift.
18/09/2026: An original concept, indeed the restaurant does not only offer dishes (which by the way are delicious), it also offers to sell books.

13/08/2026: A little gem! Last time we were in Port Saint Louis du Rhone, it was closed and we said wouldn't it be lovely if it was open - this visit it was! An oasis and a joy to be there!

The food is decent.
15/09/2026: Very disappointed by the sunny location; tables for four or more are in the shade. Not pleasant to enjoy a seafood platter under these conditions.

The fish soup was very salty, the tiny filet steak was served rare not medium then obviously microwaved to correct the fault. The creme brulee, was more like a runny custard. Some reviews have to be harsh to improve standards so my critisisms are meant well

26/08/2026: One of my favorite places...in Brittany...and even in the world! An essential stop on any trip to the Côtes-d'Armor. This bookstore café is magical. The cakes are delicious, and so is the homemade iced tea. A very warm welcome and a wonderful selection of books. The children's room is adorable and very well-stocked as well.
