05/07/2026: A fantastic place that's well worth a visit when you're in Besançon. The atmosphere is very friendly and the owner is a true enthusiast. With a background in cheesemaking, he knows his products and wine inside and out. Special mention goes to the lovely wine cellar, which allows you to carefully select your bottle.

30/06/2026: Excellent place! A very attentive owner, regional dishes, fresh ingredients, and passion on the plate. A truly authentic spot! Absolutely not to be missed.

25/05/2026: This review applies to the restaurant only. The service was unfriendly, and the quality was very questionable. Be prepared to wait, especially at the start of peak season, as we waited almost half an hour for a carafe of water (in 34-degree heat, that's really pushing it) and a burger that wasn't cooked properly. Our food was lukewarm, and judging by the burger bun and the frozen fries, which were as hard as a rock, you have to wonder if the plates hadn't cooled down somewhere before reaching our table... I want to emphasize the desperately long wait; our neighbors had to help themselves to salt from another table that hadn't been cleared yet. We even shared our sauces with them because they were forgotten. The only good point is that the portions weren't too large or too small, but overall it's really very average, and the numerous Routard awards it has received in the past don't guarantee the current quality.

25/05/2026: Excellent value for money, generous and delicious portions, top-notch staff (a rarity these days), very good desserts, and the rum baba (the authentic recipe) was superb! Bravo!

06/03/2026: Restaurant. A lot of pretension, relatively expensive, and disappointing. The skate was dried out, with dry, tough ends, and the sauce was completely forgotten (a skate à la grenobloise here is skate served with absolutely nothing...). The "seaweed potatoes" were just steamed potatoes, again with nothing else! A set lunch menu for €35. The dessert was like something you'd get in a school cafeteria. In short, disappointing. We won't be going back.

14/05/2026: Exorbitant prices, 15 minutes to take the order, 10 minutes to be served, and 45 minutes to pay the bill. Some people reportedly left without paying!

07/07/2026: Pleasant, bright, and spacious setting. Good food. Very affordable and well-presented set menu. The children's menu is also suitable. A pleasant surprise to discover just a few minutes' drive from Deauville airport/airfield.

06/07/2026: Appalling service. Don't go here if you are not fluent in french. If I could leave a zero star review I would. Only 1 of the 4 meals came as ordered and what came was cold. 1 of the meals was seafood rather than the steak that was ordered. Staff just not interested. AVOID.

08/08/2026: A very poor experience. We should have checked the reviews before going. On the positive side: the atmosphere of the place is pleasant, and the young waiters and waitresses are very friendly! I thought the bull stew was very good. Now for the negative side: the other dishes were not good. The ribeye steak was rubbery and tasteless; the Roquefort sauce tasted like melted Babybel cheese. The fries were tasteless and far too greasy. The Caesar salad was bland. One of the older waitresses was frankly unpleasant. This restaurant is best avoided.

08/08/2026: A very bad experience at this restaurant. We ordered pizzas and pesto pasta, which was presented as fresh pasta. Honestly, I've rarely been so disappointed. The pasta was very dry, and the pesto was simply disastrous. If you're going to serve tasteless, industrial pesto, you might as well make it yourself at home… We really felt like we were eating a pre-made product. Regarding the pizzas, we were clearly told that the dough wasn't homemade, which is perfectly understandable. But to end up with what clearly looked like a frozen pizza on our plate? No, thank you. That's not what you expect when you go to a restaurant. And what about the service… One person with chewing gum in their mouth, a nonchalant attitude, and no real interest in the customers. We weren't even asked if we enjoyed the meal or if everything was alright. Clearly, whether we liked what was on our plates or not was irrelevant. After seeing the 1.7 rating on Google, I quickly realized we'd unfortunately had bad luck. This experience sadly confirms its very poor reputation. I do not recommend it, especially considering the price-to-quality ratio.

04/05/2026: Hotel with rooms for solo travelers. Spacious room with a single bed and a large shower room. Friendly staff and 24-hour reception.

15/04/2026: This hotel is a disgrace. I don't understand how it can have four stars; it's a one-star hotel at best. It's dirty, unprofessional, needs a complete renovation, and they serve you yesterday's stale breakfast...

16/07/2026: As a regular customer of this delivery restaurant (over a hundred orders), I really don't understand the negative reviews (is it a problem with the name?). The fish is grade A quality, the touch of jalapenos and yuzu on the sashimi is fantastic, and the rice is perfectly cooked (even if there are occasional mishaps). The new items are just as good (takoyaki, fatty tuna, etc.). You rarely find such a high level of quality outside of traditional sushi restaurants. And quality comes at a price (which, unfortunately, has been steadily increasing). Go there without hesitation.

22/04/2026: This guy is rude, he mistreats all the delivery drivers and even goes so far as to assault them. The worst part is that he touches the food without washing his hands after sneezing or coughing, which could make anyone who eats it sick.

27/06/2026: Appalling... avoid at all costs! I tried three times... The staff clearly didn't want to work. We had a table for six, and no one showed up after 20 minutes... The bar staff were on their phones... What a shame!

09/10/2025: Exceptional setting just a few meters from the port and the beach. It's the only decent restaurant in the area, and we were very disappointed. No water or bread on the table. The dishes listed on the menu don't exist. "I told you, 'No paella, prawns, monkfish, or fish...'" said the waiter. The ham croquettes are mostly potato croquettes. The mussels with chorizo ​​swim in a creamy pink sauce, and most are already detached from their shells. They don't contain any chorizo. The waiters are heavily tattooed, burly men in shorts. We miss the old-fashioned service in restaurants, and when will there be an acceptable restaurant in this part of Hendaye?

12/07/2026: The service was appalling, and the owner was consistently rude to the staff, who were undoubtedly seasonal and therefore unprofessional. I cut short this very disappointing experience. Royan offers much better options. My neighbor sent his plate of raw fish back home!

11/07/2026: I ordered a mussel marinière without onions, in the end there was no sauce, only water, and therefore far too many skulls in the mussels.

22/06/2026: The large raw prawns I bought on Sunday cost €30/kg and weren't fresh at all. Many were headless, the stall was full of flies... and I got terrible food poisoning that made me sick all day! Don't go there!! Hygiene checks should be more frequent in this central and very touristy market hall in Rouen's old market.

16/06/2026: This fish shop is getting worse and worse. The staff are so unwelcoming. If you hate dealing with customers, find another line of work; there's no need to be unpleasant and rude. And the freshness of some of the fish and shellfish leaves much to be desired. I won't be going back.
