18/05/2026: If we ignore the long wait to be served, a table reserved the day before for seven people that wasn't set up (thankfully they did save us three small tables!), the soaking wet glasses that weren't dried, and a trainee waiter who nearly dropped his trays every time he arrived at a table and had to come back three times to take orders (well, leave him to wash dishes when it's too busy!), it was a huge disappointment because I was bringing family I was visiting, and I had been very impressed a few months ago. The setting is nice and the food is okay, even if nothing to rave about. The staff is friendly. That slightly redeems it. I don't recommend it anymore. I would have been better off listening to the previous reviews, which should have been helpful for improving the service. I urge the owner to take them into account so as not to lose too many customers.

01/02/2026: We came as a family, and the experience was very disappointing from the start.
As soon as we were seated, the table wasn't properly set: only napkins and a knife, no fork. We had to get up to fetch cutlery from another table, which already speaks volumes about the establishment's professionalism.
Shortly after, my husband ordered a non-alcoholic beer, but he was brought a regular one. Luckily, he asked before drinking it—a serious mistake, especially when you specify this type of request.
The food then arrived, and that's when things got even worse.
The fried dishes were soaked in oil, to the point of being inedible.
Our son's children's meal (fish and chips) was literally swimming in oil, which is unacceptable, especially for a child. My salad… let’s not even go there:
roughly chopped pink radishes, they looked like they’d been chopped with an axe,
hard-boiled eggs that had clearly been cooked for several days, dry and tasteless,
all drowned in dressing, making the dish sickening.
My husband ordered a fish burger:
not only was it bad,
but there were bones in the fish, which is completely unacceptable and dangerous, especially in a burger.
The small fried fish pieces had a very unpleasant taste of old oil and were, again, excessively greasy. As a result, we barely ate anything.
To top it all off, when the bill came, the waiter tried to charge us for something we hadn’t ordered or eaten, which only added to our dissatisfaction.
Finally, the hygiene of the restrooms was clearly lacking, which is particularly concerning in an establishment that serves food. 👉 Between the poor quality of the food, the disastrous cooking, the excessive oil, the service errors, the billing problems, and the lack of hygiene, the experience was very bad.
We will not be returning.

08/05/2026: Ordered for 13, several mistakes on the pizzas, forgotten ingredients, and frankly disappointing quality… 🍕
Unfortunately, the service didn't redeem the experience.
08/05/2026: Thirteen at the table, a simple mission: eat pizzas. The restaurant decided to turn this into a culinary escape game.
The first three pizzas arrived: three mistakes. An impressive ratio, almost impossible to replicate intentionally. The next two? No arugula… even though they were supposed to have it. Apparently, the arugula took a day off.
A quick detour to the register to politely point out my “arugula pizza without arugula” (sorry, I couldn't remember the exact name after all the surprises). The owner's response: “Are you kidding me?” Before adding that “it was a joke.” Well… either I don't have a very developed sense of humor, or that's also missing from their supplies.
The servers seemed to be competing in a contest of rudeness, and the daily special was nowhere to be seen. Yet… it was definitely a weekday, I checked.
In short, if you like surprises, improvisations and immersive experiences, go for it. If you just wanted a quiet dinner… maybe get a frozen pizza, it will be more predictable, and of better quality.

The restaurant only informed us that morning of a set menu for December 31st, with no à la carte options available.
This information was not provided at the time of booking.
We therefore cancelled.

22/10/2025: On Tuesday, October 21 at 9:30 p.m. I ate there and got sick during the night. I vomited everything. I got sick. I had food poisoning. Just avoid that. In case, I'm posting photos of everything I dropped in my bathtub!
25/09/2025: I would like to know if they have reopened. I went in August and it was closed, but I often go to this restaurant and it is really very good, there is a lot of choice and it is very good.

01/06/2026: This outdated hotel is not worth its 3 stars. The breakfast is not worth the trip; the pastries are disgusting. Avoid it at all costs. It has no 3-star standards. Be warned, there's nobody there in the evening if you want a drink. Disappointing.
24/05/2026: The room was adequate but far from what one would expect from a 3-star hotel. Breakfast is very expensive, and arriving early is essential, otherwise the pastries, defrosted on-site, quickly run out and are not replenished.
The restaurant menu is as sparse as the portions; those with a hearty appetite should pack a sandwich for after their meal.
The view is very beautiful.

16/05/2026: Very pleasant. The food was very good, the servers were friendly and professional, and there's a beautiful view of the Nice theater. The service is quick and less expensive than other places on the same street. I don't understand the bad reviews.
I recommend it!

25/05/2026: This review applies to the restaurant only. The service was unfriendly, and the quality was very questionable. Be prepared to wait, especially at the start of peak season, as we waited almost half an hour for a carafe of water (in 34-degree heat, that's really pushing it) and a burger that wasn't cooked properly. Our food was lukewarm, and judging by the burger bun and the frozen fries, which were as hard as a rock, you have to wonder if the plates hadn't cooled down somewhere before reaching our table... I want to emphasize the desperately long wait; our neighbors had to help themselves to salt from another table that hadn't been cleared yet. We even shared our sauces with them because they were forgotten. The only good point is that the portions weren't too large or too small, but overall it's really very average, and the numerous Routard awards it has received in the past don't guarantee the current quality.
25/05/2026: Excellent value for money, generous and delicious portions, top-notch staff (a rarity these days), very good desserts, and the rum baba (the authentic recipe) was superb!
