02/08/2026: We had a wonderful time as a family! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with great kindness and good cheer. A huge thank you to Olivia, our waitress, who was absolutely lovely from beginning to end. Smiling, attentive, professional, and incredibly kind, she greatly contributed to making our meal even more enjoyable. The dishes were delicious, generous, and prepared with high-quality ingredients. A special mention goes to the beef, which was absolutely exceptional: tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. A real treat; we understand why it's so highly regarded! The setting is magnificent, with a beautiful view of the cathedral square, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Thank you for this impeccable service. We will gladly return on our next trip to Bazas and we wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant!

The food was fresh and of excellent quality, enhanced by the chef and his entire team. We would be delighted to return, perhaps in the evening, to explore the menu more thoroughly. I was very ill, but I hope to return in June 2027... I recommend it to everyone I know. The food... the friendliness... nothing beats this restaurant in my opinion.

The mussels were delicious, especially the fisherman's mussels (I highly recommend them!), and the service was brilliant! Two very friendly and energetic waitresses (Clarysse and Sarah). The visit is very well organized: tours of the castle and vineyards, clear explanations of winemaking, and tastings that allow you to discover elegant and balanced wines. Lunch is also available on-site.

08/08/2026: Trendy bistro in old town. Very good food choice in a modern brasserie style. Good wine selection. Outdoor seating in an outside nook of the church across the road is a bit rustic but works well. Attentive service. Thoroughly recommend.

30/07/2026: I don't usually write food reviews, but at this level of cuisine, it becomes a civic duty. The dish served is indescribable. It should, at first glance, be a bed of hummus seasoned with Espelette peppers, topped with stuffed eggplant and soft-boiled eggs. The reality is even more surprising, as it appears to be a run-of-the-mill supermarket béarnaise sauce, crowned by three thin slices of breaded eggplant peelings. As for the egg, more soft than cooked, it sits enthroned in the center of this disaster. It's utterly inedible, and the waitress clearly doesn't understand it... run away!

24/07/2026: The place has that old-fashioned brewery feel, and we loved it! The dishes were perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. In this heat, the tomato soup was ideal. The only downside was the young brunette waitress who completely ignored us when we were waiting for a table. Then, when we told her we preferred to be inside rather than outside, she looked at her colleague as if to say we were bothering her terribly (we almost left at that point). She was so rude that we didn't dare ask her for anything ;) Luckily, her very friendly colleague then took care of us :)
