12/09/2024: Endroit sympa.personnel très accueillant . restaurant qui joue le jeu des bons Groupon.menu copieux.nous avons été bien renseigné sur le vin.

22/08/2024: L’endroit est sympa. Un accueil téléphonique très correct. Par contre sur place… La serveuse (seule) pas souriante, pas aimable, ne nous regarde pas quand elle nous parle. Pas très apprêté Gueule après « Robert » devant tout le monde. Alors oui il y avait du monde oui elle était seule mais nous clients on vient pour passer un bon moment. Pas pour voir ça et entendre gueuler. C’est dommage, notre plat était bon.

14/09/2024: Très bonne adresse, la présentation des assiettes est très soignée, entrée très fraîche, poisson excellent et dessert revisité. Le personnel est très sympathique. Très bonne expérience.

20/08/2024: Yum! I enjoyed myself at this table...The food is of high quality, the taste and the quantity too, are there: it's classic, but with just the right Mediterranean touch! I ate the best aioli of my life! The terrace is pleasant with its large trees and the impeccable service: good advice on wine! In short, a great address: good value for money :) I recommend!

22/09/2024: I was in the restaurant shortly after opening time (7:15 p.m.). Unfortunately, many of the dishes from the buffet were no longer really hot, which is a shame! Otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

15/09/2024: I had reserved a table for my birthday via Google and was looking forward to a lovely evening. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start. When we arrived our reservation wasn't prepared and the staff didn't even seem aware of it. Instead, we were put in a "reserve room" that felt more like a canteen - no curtains on the windows, different cutlery, no glasses, and worst of all: the toilet was right in the room. The food came quickly, but the taste was not convincing. The sangria in particular was a total disappointment. As for the service: we had to wait 15 minutes until I went downstairs to ask for plates for our tapas - which they had simply forgotten. After the food was served, no one paid any attention to us. The crowning glory: After waiting 20 minutes for our coffee, we decided not to order the dessert anymore, fearing that we would have had to wait even longer. Overall it was a disastrous experience and I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant. I can't even call this a restaurant.

10/09/2024: Very good experience! We ate very well, well prepared and abundant dishes. The owner is very nice and friendly. Highly recommended!!!

06/08/2024: First time we choose this place for a meal. Typically Alsatian place. Small room but that's what we were looking for: authenticity. The dishes are copious, the history of the restaurant, the cellars, the butchery and the stables is told to us. Thank you again for taking us on a journey and taking us with you to the Alsace of yesteryear.

02/06/2024: Went to Ammershwihr last Saturday and randomly walked into this restaurant for lunch. We seem to be the only guests in that quiet afternoon. The atmosphere was very cozy and family-like, run by a warm, kind couple that reminds me of my own grandparents. The entrecote was very nice with a fresh scent of herb butter. My friend and I didn't speak French and the owner didn't speak English, but he treated us with great kindness and patience, and showed us his collection of 2022 Beijing Olympic torch! We really appreciate them for taking care of us and adding this sweet little surprise to our Alsace memory. 🥰

24/09/2024: A friendly, gastronomic and human paradise!! Don't go there too much on Thursday, because otherwise there will be no more places for our association which is happy to be there!

05/09/2024: Prise de rdv pour 2 personnes pour le déjeuner. On nous demande de ne pas arriver après 12h30, cela peut se comprendre par rapport à l’organisation des services et du personnel. Finalement des clients sont arrivés jusqu’à notre départ. On commande une choucroute et un plat du jour. Service rapide mais en ce qui concerne la choucroute une vraie catastrophe. Et comme disait louis de Funès dans la grande vadrouille « c’est pas mauvais, c’est très mauvais ». Saucisse dure, patates cuites à l’eau et certainement réchauffées, chou amer … viande très grasse et de pas bonne qualité. Pour le dessert le kouglof glacé quelconque accompagné d’une chantilly à la bombe. Donc expérience à ne pas reproduire il y a bcp mieux ailleurs et pour moins cher.

27/08/2024: Outside the ramparts, so a LOT quieter. The menu is not massive, but the food is tasty and hearty, the staff friendly and helpful. We were a party of 5 and were very happy with our lunch out.

26/08/2024: Very good and original sushi. The staff is very friendly. I recommend it and I will return with great pleasure.

24/08/2024: We went to dinner at the sushi bar last night for the first time and what an experience! A warm welcome, a wide choice of extra fresh and original products that we are not necessarily used to seeing in sushi restaurants, special mention to the scallop sashimi and ramen! The prices are justified in view of the quality of the products used.

15/09/2024: We were a table of 8, the restaurant was packed... I admit that the service was a little long, but it was worth it. We had a royal couscous (chicken. Skewer. Merguez, chicken. Lamb). I was not disappointed! Hearty and very good. . What I appreciate is that the boss, who is the cook at the same time, comes to greet us at the end of the service to see if everything went well... I find it important to keep a contact with its customers. So thank you 😘
