23/03/2026: The food is certainly good, but absolutely unsuitable for people with allergies. I repeatedly pointed out that I have celiac disease and cannot consume gluten. The reaction was rather irritated, and the gluten-free bread was served in a basket with the other breads. In a Michelin-starred restaurant, I expect the chef to be knowledgeable about allergies and cross-contamination. I obviously gave up the bread, but I still experienced significant symptoms, which means there was still gluten in the meal. This is unacceptable to me. The service is adequate, but there's room for improvement in terms of friendliness.

11/05/2026: What a wonderful discovery! Finally, a restaurant with real tablecloths, real napkins, and fresh cutlery with every course—the icing on the cake—an excellent meal. Kudos for the warm welcome, the service, and the very responsive approach when taking the reservation. A must-try, and I'll definitely be back! Thank you for the little candle!

13/04/2026: Very friendly service and delicious food, friendly owners. The garden is beautifully landscaped. This was our second time eating here and also staying two nights in the hotel. The room was clean but too noisy, being right next to the street and the parking lot. It's too loud when the restaurant guests leave. The through traffic at night is also a real shame. The beds are good, but the Wi-Fi doesn't work.

27/04/2026: Excellent cuisine and very good wine pairing recommendations during the meal. The service was satisfactory. BUT We called on a SATURDAY EVENING at 10:50 PM (last order taken at 9 PM according to the schedule). I don't think they kick people out at 10 PM... We therefore assumed that the restaurant, although perhaps already closed to customers, would still be open, finishing cleaning up, as the last customers shouldn't have left that long ago. Perhaps we were mistaken in our reasoning. In any case, we called the restaurant's number LISTED ON THEIR WEBSITE. Instead of being redirected to an answering machine or having the phone ring unanswered, a woman answered. We wanted to know if there was still availability for a reservation the following day at lunchtime. In a very dismissive tone, she replied: "I DON'T SLEEP WITH MY CALENDAR." We were very surprised and apologized, only to be met with another comment: "If you only knew the life we ​​have..." I find it unacceptable, given the establishment's reputation, to respond this way to customers wanting to reserve a table. Either you don't answer, or you politely reply that the restaurant is closed and that they should call back the next day. I didn't understand why you would answer the restaurant's phone if you were asleep? So, we were simply very disappointed. It really put us off, especially since I used to love this restaurant and had such fond memories of it, as just a few hours later, I was proposed to during our last visit. I'm not sure I'll be going back for these reasons.

17/04/2026: I found the restaurant very pleasantly decorated, especially the veranda. I had a truly excellent lunch. The chef prepares classic cuisine, but it's impeccably executed. A real pleasure. The owner was in a cheerful mood, and her staff was very professional. I'll gladly return. Well done to everyone!

21/03/2026: A lovely evening for two in this warm and inviting place. The tarte flambée was delicious, and the service was quick and friendly. Highly recommended!

06/03/2026: I don't quite understand the particularly bad reviews... we had a very pleasant time at this restaurant where the welcome was exceptionally friendly. Contrary to what I've read, the flammekueche were very good, flavorful, and generously filled, and there were four couples in our party. Many thanks again to the lady and her daughter who greet you in traditional Alsatian dress.

03/05/2026: A very beautiful, very clean, and cozy hotel in a lovely half-timbered house. The rooms are comfortable and offer everything you need for your stay. The French breakfast is plentiful and everything is very fresh. The service is very friendly and attentive. All in all, a highly recommended destination in Alsace. Thank you. We will be back.

06/03/2026: Now this I did not expect at this budget. Gorgeous place! Simple and great. The menu straight forward with one option, that of the day. Ours was a juicy, nicely grilled steak with a piece of bone marrow, and some potatoes. Maybe a bit light on the salad with just a leaf of parsley. Portions, huge! Could barely eat it all. Very quick and friendly service. Can't recommend more... Thank you for a great evening even if we could not stay very long.
