04/06/2026: We had dinner there as a family one evening. The dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. We loved both the meat and the vegetarian options! A very enjoyable experience!

11/05/2026: What a wonderful discovery! Finally, a restaurant with real tablecloths, real napkins, and fresh cutlery with every course—the icing on the cake—an excellent meal. Kudos for the warm welcome, the service, and the very responsive approach when taking the reservation. A must-try, and I'll definitely be back! Thank you for the little candle!

25/06/2026: I wish I could tell you about the food or experience however I was very rudely ran off for using the bathroom before I sat at a table. He proceeded to tell me he was going to come to my home and use my bathroom and blocked my egress until I paid him for the use of said bathroom although I asked for a table to sit . I threw him 5 euros and left. It was the craziest thing to ever happen to me in a restaurant the man needs help.

05/06/2026: We have been to Ville de Nancy four times (which speaks to our enjoyment of this place) and last night was by far the most amazing meal we have had yet! The combinations were delicious- pea, green beans and cherries- yum! So many options for wine to select from and wonderful, friendly service! We will be returning!

08/06/2026: Came here with my boyfriend for a date night in Colmar. Great food, pork cheek was melting in my mouth, and the cream of asparagus, I could drink a whole bowl! Old man serving us was very polite and friendly, he recommended a great golden Gewurtztraminer wine! Service was a bit slow, that’s the only thing I’ll say!

03/06/2026: The Michelin Green Guide recommended this establishment, and the menu looked quite tempting, so I headed to Maison Rouge for dinner (it's best to book, especially during peak season). The salmon was delicious, accompanied by a sauce that perfectly complemented it. The wine, a Gamay, recommended by a smiling and humorous woman, was also an excellent choice. I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner and the time I spent in this restaurant, despite the heatwave.

12/06/2026: Good Italian restaurant on the outskirts of Colmar. We hadn’t booked but there were plenty of tables. Mainly French customers in a relaxed atmosphere. We had a huge mixed salad to start to share with pasta and pizza for main course. All excellent and large portions. No alcohol free beer so had a Perrier instead. Friendly staff and would definitely go again

10/06/2026: RAOUL'S GANG Passing through Colmar, we arrived as a group of 20. The service was impeccable, the servers were pleasant, and the pizza and other dishes were very good and well presented. The welcome for 20 people without a reservation was fantastic. Thank you!

31/05/2026: An absolutely catastrophic experience at Restaurant de la Carpe, avoid it at all costs. Let's start from the beginning: I arrived at noon. I was served at 2:30 PM. Yes, you read that right. A TWO AND A HALF HOUR wait for food. At this point, it's no longer lunch, it's being held hostage. I could have caught the carp myself, cooked it, and gone home. Speaking of which, let's talk about the "signature dish": the carp. Bland, tasteless, unseasoned, soulless. It's as if they grabbed a fish from a puddle and threw it on the plate without even considering whether it tasted good. For a restaurant named "La Carpe" (The Carp), it's quite a paradox not to know how to cook it properly. All that for this, after a two-and-a-half-hour wait. But the worst was yet to come: dessert. I ordered a Dame Blanche, a classic of French cuisine that ANY self-respecting professional knows. As a reminder to the kitchen staff, who clearly skipped their basic cooking classes: a Dame Blanche is vanilla ice cream, hot chocolate, and whipped cream. PERIOD. No fruit. It's literally in the name: "WHITE." So they bring me something with a million pieces of fruit on it. I politely point out the mistake, and then comes the kicker: they explain that it's MY FAULT because I didn't "let them know" that I didn't want fruit. Seriously? I have to tell them now that a Dame Blanche doesn't contain fruit? Do I also have to point out that black coffee isn't supposed to be green? And when you dare to make the slightest comment, the owner speaks rudely, in an aggressive and contemptuous tone. No manners whatsoever, no concept of customer service. You feel like you're intruding by eating in your own restaurant. The funniest thing about all this is the pretension. Clearly, the chef fancies himself a haute cuisine chef, but the gap between his stated ambitions and the reality on the plate is simply comical. The cherry on top: "The photos and description are not contractual." Fantastic. So you can serve anything, any old way, make people wait two and a half hours, and flout the most basic rules of French cuisine, all while being unpleasant, and then hide behind a legal disclaimer to avoid taking any responsibility. No self-reflection, no apologies, no professionalism. Endless service, bland dishes, a disastrous dessert, and an unpleasant, pretentious owner. The perfect combination. If you value your palate, your time, or your sanity, steer clear. Absolutely avoid. Zero stars if that were possible.

16/04/2026: A set menu shared with friends, using the Gourmet Passport. Mimosa eggs, veal osso buco with sides and strawberry dessert, aperitif, wine (Pic Saint-Loup) and coffee, all for €135 for four people. Beautiful decor, calm atmosphere, impeccable service, and excellent cuisine.

11/05/2026: A wonderful discovery during our romantic weekend getaway. We stopped for lunch and were charmed by this unique place and its fantastic cuisine. The concept of sharing a large table might seem unusual at first, but it ultimately creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The service was as excellent as the food: flawless from start to finish. In fact, we returned that same evening for dinner! We will definitely be back.

24/05/2026: We had a fantastic meal! The food was really good, and the servers were lovely, smiling, and very professional. However, we were quite surprised by the chef's attitude towards his team. He was very unpleasant to the servers, speaking to them rather curtly, while he sat watching the football match on television. It's really a shame to see this, especially when you can tell the servers are doing their best to manage the service and satisfy the customers. A little more support and consideration from him towards his team would be appreciated.

07/06/2026: Disappointing experience. I ordered a calzone, but the restaurant refused to prepare it, citing a problem with the oven, without offering a satisfactory solution or alternative. So I ordered a Regina with an egg, but it arrived undercooked. Between the refusal of my initial order and the poor quality of the pizza served, I left disappointed with my meal. It's a shame, because I expected better service and more attention to detail in the cooking of the food.

25/06/2026: A delightful stop this morning at Café Le Temps d’une Pause, located in the heart of Mulhouse, just steps from Place de la Réunion and only a ten-minute walk from the train station. As for the food, the café offers a full menu of hot drinks accompanied by small pastries to enjoy on-site. Lunch is also available, as well as brunch on weekends (reservations required). I had the opportunity to try a caffeinated drink with caramel and popcorn: a real treat to start the day. To accompany it, I opted for freshly squeezed orange juice, a homemade brownie, and a cookie, all equally delicious. The price-quality ratio is good. As for the atmosphere, the terrace is particularly pleasant. Located on a side street parallel to a busier thoroughfare, it allows you to enjoy the lively atmosphere of the city center while remaining away from the crowds and noise. Inside, several tables are available, as well as two very comfortable sofa areas that invite you to settle in and fully enjoy the moment. The service is friendly, smiling, and attentive. Our rating: 🍽️ Taste: 7/10 💶 Value for money: 7/10 🥳 Atmosphere: 9/10 💁🏼‍♀️ Service: 8/10 ⭐ Overall rating: 7.75/10
