30/05/2026: Hello, I am writing to complain about the lack of compassion at this café. On the evening of May 30th, due to the intense sun, my nose bled several times. Without tissues to stop the bleeding, my friend went inside to ask for some. It was then, after my friend explained the reason for his request, that the staff responded, "Sorry, we're closing," leaving me in a very uncomfortable state. I felt it was important not to let this go unaddressed. Thank you.

01/07/2026: Very well located in the old part of Colmar. Very cozy little terrace with plenty of space between the tables. Very friendly and helpful staff all around. Very tasty food, nice selection. Highly recommended!

01/07/2026: Alsatian cuisine at its finest! Great location! Prices are a bit high, but that's probably the case all over Colmar. Service definitely has room for improvement – ​​you have to actively wave to the waiters for every (re)order, even when empty glasses are being cleared away.

29/06/2026: A good option for breakfast outdoors; we went two mornings in a row. Prices are quite reasonable (for example, €2 for a large slice of bread with blueberry jam). Service is a bit inconsistent; the servers are very pleasant, but you can have to wait a while if you feel neglected, even though it's usually very quiet.

06/03/2026: Now this I did not expect at this budget. Gorgeous place! Simple and great. The menu straight forward with one option, that of the day. Ours was a juicy, nicely grilled steak with a piece of bone marrow, and some potatoes. Maybe a bit light on the salad with just a leaf of parsley. Portions, huge! Could barely eat it all. Very quick and friendly service. Can't recommend more... Thank you for a great evening even if we could not stay very long.

30/05/2026: Regarding the pizza vending machine: We stopped here during a motorcycle tour to get something to eat, as almost everything else was closed that day due to the holiday. The pizza was inexpensive (around €6 during special offers, around €11 regular price) and surprisingly good and fast. The drinks vending machine next to it was a great combination. Understandably, the ambiance isn't all that great, but I suppose it's not really meant for eating the pizza on the premises.

The staff is friendly and quick to serve. Perfect for a great night out with friends. Highly recommended!
