24/05/2026: An exceptional evening for a very special birthday! We were at L’Alchémille in Kaysersberg last night to celebrate my husband’s birthday. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by this exceptional place: an elegant and welcoming setting, both modern and respectful of the surrounding nature. The service was simply perfect: friendly, warm, precise, and highly professional. The staff are attentive, discreet when necessary, and always available, with that Alsatian "verbindlich" touch that immediately puts you at ease. As for the food, it’s a true culinary journey. The dishes are meticulously prepared, innovative, and delicate, while beautifully showcasing local produce. You can taste the work of Chef Jérôme Jaegle and his love for nature: a wonderful discovery of new scents and flavors thanks to the remarkable use of aromatic herbs and seasonal ingredients. Each bite is a pleasant surprise, refined and full of creativity, without ever being overdone. We had a magical evening, worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant that truly deserves its reputation. A gastronomic experience that combines elegance, authenticity, and emotion. We will definitely be back!

02/08/2026: There was only interior seating available in July 2026 due to the infrastructure construction going on outside. There seemed to be quite a lot of locals or French-speaking clientele inside. The quiche with salad was very generous. It came with 2 slices of quiche and a salad with a huge assortment of vegetables and coleslaws. The kidneys had a really nice bite to them and came with a side of spaetzele. The cream sauce was mixed with a mustard which really cut the richness. The AC was very strong which was much needed during one of France's many heatwaves. They also seem to offer a modest lunch buffet for around 20 Euros which includes a handful of proteins and several vegetable options. It is extremely small compared to North American standards.

31/07/2026: A very pleasant place offering delicious treats for all budgets. Their butterfly shortbread with chocolate tastes like childhood memories.

21/07/2026: A brand new pastry shop has opened in a truly unique location: the former Munster train station. The desserts are exquisite, and you can order custom desserts for your events (birthdays, family celebrations, etc.) from Chantal, who will advise you like an expert. A big congratulations to Willy and his entire team!

31/08/2026: They can't even serve people in order at the drive-thru. It's not that hard to be careful. I don't bother trying to understand anymore; when it's like that, I just leave. I don't have to wait in line behind someone who arrived 10 minutes after me.

12/07/2026: We stayed one night. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable. Having a very early morning commitment, a big thank you to the hotel for preparing my breakfast in advance. I recommend it.

29/06/2026: A restaurant with a magnificent view. We received a very warm welcome and were served with great care. For starters, we had bone marrow, and for our main course, ham. For dessert, we had a damson plum soufflé. All of this was accompanied by a selection of wines by the glass. Every dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back.

25/06/2026: The owner is absolutely outrageous and has no decency whatsoever. Yes, we were late, but we called ahead twice (we had car trouble). When we arrived at 8:15 pm, she said, "Well, that menu isn't available anymore, so you're out of luck." And then she added, "Now hurry up and order." Keep in mind, we were there on a Thursday evening, and the restaurant was completely empty except for two other guests. At that point, I couldn't care less how good the food was... I definitely don't support that kind of service. On top of that, they charged us €10 for a bottle of water... anyway, the chef is probably good, but the management leaves much to be desired... luckily, there are many other fantastic restaurants nearby that still know how to behave.

28/07/2026: i can only comment on the restaurant. food excellent. beer perfect temperature. waiters overwhelmed because the place was super packed. hey but they were still smiling😀. overall excellent atomsphere. mostly locals👌

17/06/2026: Cozy hotel with excellent cuisine. Great room and good bed. Air conditioning works well. Surprisingly excellent cuisine with beautiful dishes, tasty wines from the barrel, and very good service (excellent English). Lively and tasty breakfast. Highly recommended.

27/08/2026: A great find with Alsatian and Mulhouse specialties like fleischschnaka, Ancre beer, gingerbread ice cream, and Alsatian plum sorbet. Pleasant terrace, tables with tablecloths, efficient and friendly service.

14/07/2026: For this type of place, it's really good, the quality is very decent, the cooking is good, and the all-you-can-eat selection is sufficient. The best part is that you've brought back the ketchup, mayonnaise, etc. sauces...

14/07/2026: Honestly, it was impossible to eat in peace; the table was swarming with flies, and don't even get me started on the greenbottle flies! It was disheartening and, frankly, quite unsettling!

15/08/2026: A delightful evening at this restaurant during one of our hiking stops in the Vosges Mountains. Excellent food, top-notch service, and above all, a chef who was able to adapt and prepare a vegan dish. Best of luck to the whole team!
